Cyril had called up on of his buddies to come out and try fishing in the lake and have a few beers while they were at it. Normally this would be something that he would do with a guy friend...but he didn't really have any of those at BA. He had worked on it but everything just seemed to sort of fall through the cracks in that ball park. Oh well, he was not sexist and figured a female could still have a few beers with him and fish. Even if Savannah decided to not partake in any of the beer, as long as she gave fishing a go, he would have been fine. It had been a while she he had actually gone fishing but was all kind of excited for it. Packing up everything that he needed and decided to try fishing at the schools lake since it was the closest and he actually knew where it was.
He knew where the other one was in town as well, but he didn't want to risk getting lost so went with the one he was one hundred percent sure on. He still got there super early and everything, laying out the chairs near the side of the water because Cyril didn't trust going out in a boat. That was just asking for trouble if you pissed off a very huge fish. It would tip your boat, wait for you to fall into the water, and then eat you alive. Cyril swore that he didn't have a fear of fish or anything like that. He just had a fear of fish in water that was not super clear to see in so you didn't know what could be living or swimming around in it. That was a logical fear, right? Even if it was not, he had it and while he was fine being in the water for a little bit, a long period of time would not be okay.
"Is it catch and release or can I eat them?" Cyril asked himself out loud as he worked on getting the last of everything set up. Busting open the cooler to reveal the nicely chilled beers and the box of worms, which were oddly still warm. Cyril was already snickering to himself at all the fish puns his mind was already coming up with. He hopped Savannah really was used to them because they were probably going to be really bad and he planned on saying a lot of them. It was going to be great and he personally was going to love every moment of it.
