International Mutant Athletic Competition
Hosted by: The Bellefonte Academy
What is IMAC?
IMAC (International Mutant Athletic Competition) is an international athletic competition between the various different mutant schools across the world. Each school sends students and teachers to participate in this event, and the IMAC offers various games and competitions that everyone can be a part of.
Remember: these students are here to compete against Bellefonte, and may or may not opt to formally transfer at the end of the event.
When does IMAC start?
The event itself starts at the beginning of October, but the students from the various schools have already started arriving, which means that you don't have to wait with getting your application accepted. The games/competition doesn't start until the end of October (roughly a month), which means that you will all have some time to both introduce and make your characters.
We will make sure that the exchange students get an official introduction at the beginning of October.
How long does the exchange students stay?
Generally speaking, the event last until Christmas, which means that even the international students have to participate in classes and everything that they normally would do back at their own school, but for those who wish to keep their character even after the event have the opportunity to have their students transfer to Bellefonte.
How do I make a character?
Example as to what we're looking for in these apps HERE. You simply app them as you would any other application, and the same rules count for these apps as anyone else, with the 'you need 25 IC posts to have another application reviewed', and power needs to be balanced, history needs to make sense and what have you.
You can freely pick what school your student comes from (except the Canadian one, since it burned down), but please, make sure that your character's history/schooling fits what has been presented in the information about the schools below.
If you have any questions, direct them towards any staff member.

The schools:
England -> St. Bethany
Town: Manchester, North West
Status: Active.
General Information: St. Bethany is one of the schools that are the most similar to Bellefonte, both when it comes to academics and the way things are run. They are a bit more uptight in a sense of of overall discipline, but all in all, there's not many differences.
Romania -> St. Cadou
Town: Brasov, Transylvania
Status: Active.
General Information: The Romanian school is one of the most secluded schools, both in area and communication. Focusing mostly on art, music, inventing or a combination of all, the students are expected to excel in one of these. The school itself is considered extremely strict and has high expectations of the students both with their abilities and their academics.
Japan -> Sainō
Town: Tokyo, Honshu
Status: Active.
General Information: The Japanese school has a stronger focus on community and working together, rather than going solo. Their students are more skilled in using their powers in a group, rather than going one on one. They are on the same academic level as Bellefonte.
India -> The Ishvaras Development Center
Town: Mumbai, Maharashtra
Status: Active.
General Information: The Indian "Center", as it prefers to be called, has been emphasizing the superiority of its students nearly since its inception. The students are strongly encouraged to use their power to advance themselves, and are often those that strive toward becoming successful. Its graduates are considered to be among the finest in the country.
Canada -> Academy of Acton Vale
Town: Acton Vale, Quebec
Status: Terminated.
General Information: The Canadian school was known to be a lot more lax than Bellefonte and was known for its social students, but most of the information got lost as the school was burned down in the beginning of 2014.
Australia -> Sir Henry Barnet Academy
Town: Darwin, Northern Territory
Status: Active.
General Information: The Australian school focuses most activity out in the open than piling their students up inside a school. Sir Henry Barnet is probably one of the more free spirited and most focused on exercising and connecting with nature out of all the schools.
Africa -> Le Roux Academy
Town: Cape Town, South Africa
Status: Active.
General Information: Le Roux is the only academy for mutants in the whole continent of Africa. Diverse in many different traditions and cultures, they strive in immense self discipline, academics, athletics, and seeing that each student is able to take on the road ahead in the future.
South America -> La Delgadillo Academia
Town: Santiago, Chile
Status: Active.
General Information: The La Delgadillo Academia is rumored to host schooling for some of the most troubled mutant students. Whether or not these rumors are true have never been proven. But it's said that the worst students are sent there for rehabilitation.
