EVAN, THOMAS, WEBB
EIGHTEEN//MALE//UNSURE//SENSORY SCRYING//STUDENT//DYLAN O'BRIEN
POWER INFO: Evan's ability allows him to literally walk in someone else's shoes. Without taking his off. For limited pockets of time, he can see, hear, feel and taste what another person does. It usually happens at random but due to his extensive training, he's occasionally been able to choose whose senses he can hijack. However, prolonged usage of his abilities will cause him to temporarily lose the senses he inhabits. The side effects include a higher risk of getting alzheimer's and not discerning what he was seeing as his own vision or someone else's.
GENERAL APPEARANCE: Standing tall at 5"11', Evan uses his height to his advantage. Never slouching, always with a smile on his face, it's easy to spot him in a crowd. His wardrobe consists of beanies, hoodies, printed tees and jeans of the tattered and washed out kind. He owns one suit, one tie and one pair of nice pants that he rarely uses. Evan is a little bit on the scrawny side but he's been going to the gym often to bulk up a little.
MUST HAVE APPAREL: Black-rimmed spectacles, blue tattered high tops
PERSONALITY: Evan is a gregarious person. Constantly happy and loud, he may grate on some people. But that doesn't stop him from befriending anything that moves. Curious to the point of annoying, his ever inquisitive mind rarely stops for anything.
His abilities have fed this part of his personality so well that sometimes, just for funsies, he would purposely use it to find out stuff another person can see. This has actually gotten him into a lot of trouble with his teachers and peers. Not that that has stopped him.
Familial bonds come easily to him. Evan will quickly adopt people here and there as long as you share his love for pop rock music, action comedy movies and the wonders of the internet.
Though he's quite fond of his abilities, he knows how detrimental they are to his livelihood. His manifestation almost cost him his life and it scared the living crap out of him, which is why controlling it is something he strives for. He's determined in his training and will push himself to the breaking point, almost always resulting in knocking himself out.
EXTRA QUIRK: The quickest way to his heart is showing cute animal videos. Sugar gliders are his spirit animal.

CHILDHOOD: Evan could say his childhood was abnormally normal. His parents were loving and his older brother was pretty nice, apart from the normal teasing older brothers were prone to do. He watched Saturday cartoons with his stuffed toys which evolved into action figures and then he outgrew them. When his twin baby sisters came along, he passed this tradition over to them and it became their Saturday tradition.
He got along well with most of the people he spoke to. "Friendly and engaging" were words his teachers frequently used to describe the affable child. He is always found in the middle of a lively conversation, always eager to answer questions and always up for extra-curricular activities. Never one to talk out of turn and eager to share, Evan was easily a popular child in elementary school.
ADOLESCENCE: Nothing much changed from his childhood as he ascended into adolescence. He was still very upbeat, positive, full of life. People around him were easily drawn in. He was happy he got the attention and people were happy giving it to him. Some were a little skeptical that he would continue with this. He proved them all wrong. Until his fourteenth birthday.
It had started quite ordinary. Birthday breakfast in bed with the whole family, a little play and run in the park just to exhaust themselves, and then a relaxing birthday dinner. It was a family affair, birthdays. Quiet, involved and simple. But that night, Evan felt off. He kept seeing things, hearing things, smelling things that weren't in his vicinity. He tried not to let it get to him but at the end of the day, he found himself outside, completely ignoring his parents yelling at him.
All he was seeing was complete darkness with occasional flashes of light. He heard a low rumbling of an engine and a low hum of droning voices. His mouth filled with a burst of cheesy meat and an ashy burnt aftertaste. He didn't understand what it was but suddenly he saw himself staring blankly into a blinding light until he was yanked back to the present, just in time to see a car screeching to a halt into a huge bin, scattering its contents on to the asphalt.
It didn't take long for suited up people to come over to his house to whisk him away to a boarding school that reminded him way too much of another fictional school with a telepath as a head master. The first year was horrible. Evan, a fourteen year old boy, kept crying himself to sleep for days on end, trying not to let the memory of his mother's last sight of him ruin him too much.
It took him a year and a half to recover from the fact that he had basically been kidnapped. It helped that the person he talked to was just as friendly and just as happy as he used to be. It took awhile but when he finally recovered, it didn't take long until he was his usual self. A little more sunny than before but maybe that was just to compensate the dark gap year.
But now, four years after, Evan is one of the loudest and chirpiest students in the academy and he doesn't seem to be backing down. Having helped the staff with a number of cases, whenever he was needed, he seems to be settling well enough into his second home.

SAMPLE:
Sawyer was getting more and more into Dani's enthusiasm, finding it ridiculously adorable and so damn appealing. It wasn't every day that she got asked about her mixes. Most of the time, she rambled on and on to somebody who had little to no interest at all.
"Oh I definitely prefer hardware." Sawyer blurted out. "But at the moment, I'm using this redonk software that is super user friendly and lets me sync a million songs into one track." She babbled on. "But I've been eyeing this sweet interface I might be getting like...by the end of the year." She chuckled. "Gigs like this will hopefully help."
Her lips twitched when Dani lit up. Even in the dimly lit room, Sawyer could see just how even the slightest smile changed the electrokinetic's face. It eventually became a full smile with Dani's positive reaction. If this girl knew what kind of reaction she would get with that wink, Sawyer had to believe she was a keeper.
"That would be awesome. Thanks. I'll even let you in the booth if you manage to sneak in a bit of alcohol in it." Sawyer smirked, leaning back in the chair and still focusing on Dani's face. Though her eyes wanted to travel downwards, recent events had taught her that that was completely impolite.
USERNAME: Nu, yees...apparently The NuBear xD
