"Come on, I know the locker combo is right." Erin sort of mumbled whined under her breath as she fumbled with her locker combination again. She had already tried four times and after the fifth try she was on the verge of giving up. She had only put the stupid lock on the locker to keep her stuff safe. It was stupid but she was paranoid about her stuff being taken or messed with that she wanted to make sure things were safe. "If this was made out of electronics I could hack my way in." Erin grumbled as she gave up with the stupid lock. If she could not hack her way in, or open it the right way, then she was going to break in. There was no one around at the moment that she saw because of classes were in.
Erin had class, but she still had time to break into her locker before she had to get to class. Plus worse case someone getting out of class or going to class would end up helping her out. For now she just knew she was alone and since she was alone she could be bold and do what she had to do in order to get at her things. He power would not help, so she was going to do this the old fashion way, with effort. I'm going to be so tired after this. Erin thought to herself because she was not one for putting for major physical effort. Stepping back she took a deep breath and started to kick at her locker, yank at it, run into, and shaking the handle. "Damn it open!" Erin yelled out, breathing heavily as she rubbed at her shoulder.

Gracelyn was taking a break. And by that, she meant that she'd gotten up from her seat in the back of the room where she sat with the teens who didn't seem to care about learning. There was a difference between Gracelyn and them. She cared about learning, she just hated the education system. She could do a lot of learning on her own. She was smart and capable. But she was also sick of sitting there, facing the front of the room, watching everyone around her raise their hands. She could only take so much and when she was so annoyed she thought she would just start to fail in everything just for that reason, she took a break, seemingly a bathroom break, but it was more or less a few minutes for her to collect herself.
Her thoughts were pounding at the forefront of her mind, just about as much as a nearby girl was pounding on her locker. Also kicking it. The whole shebang. "I'd freeze your lock off, but you might have to get a new one then," she offered, smirking.

The voice came from out of nowhere, well at least which was what Erin thought since she had been so distracted with her locker that she had not seen the girl come from out of the bathroom or even in her general vicinity. The voice cause her to get scared and the scare was bad enough that Erin's light brown eyes dilated for a second before returning back to normal. That meant that her power activated and that for a moment she had completely vanished out of sight before reappearing again. The instant headache hit her hard as it always did when he power activated herself out of fear. "Ow, damn." Erin mumbled as she rumbled at her temples for a moment then went really still and silent as her brain registered everything. She had been scared by a voice, a female voice that had said something about her locker. What did they say? Right, something about freezing if but how she would have to get a new one. Erin slowly looked over her shoulder at to the owner of the voice that had scared her and caused the whole flicking in and out of sight for a moment there.
She was already blushing because she was embarrassed about disappearing like that and also because the girl must have caught her practically attacking her locker. The blushing just got a little worse as Erin saw the girl...and she was hot. Oh damn, how do I play this off? Video game character smooth. Go. Erin told herself as she turned around, only to take a casual step back to get some distance between her and the other girl as she opened her mouth to say something, but it took a moment before words actually left. "Oh, you saw that? Uh...yeah. It won't open and um...it would be hot-I mean it would be cool if you like froze the lock that might actually work." Erin said with a small smile as she glanced away for a moment. Yeah that was smooth. She will think you are hot, not cool. Bet her power is ice. That’s nice...oh god I need to just stay in my room forever. Erin thought to herself as she felt like using her power this time to hide forever. She hoped this girl was not a mind reader.
