You know that feeling you got when someone was avoiding you? Everyone had that sense and after a while it started to become really obvious. Devyn at first didn't think about it too much but with dealing with this whole breakup thing still horribly and needing her close friends around, it was especially hard to just ignore when someone who you had talked to a lot before suddenly stopped talking to you. If the whole not talking to you was not bad enough, when they started to outright actually avoid you in person then you were just dumb if you didn't pick up on it. Devyn first tried to give Vera the benefit of the doubt and figured that the other girl was just busy with her knew intern along with college. Still, what kind of person were you if you did not make time for your friends at least once at some point. Devyn had thought they were best of friends after all, but would a best friend really avoid you like this?
She understood why Vera was doing it, at least she could guess why. Vera probably thought that Devyn blamed her for the reason why Zoe broke up with her. While in a way it was because Vera had told Zoe about them having sex, but really Devyn was not the kind of person to pin the blame all on someone and was more likely to take the blame. It took two to do what she and Vera did and Vera had been the drunken one, not Devyn. Sure Devyn was slightly made at Vera for telling Zoe they had sex, because who did that? Yet she was more upset with the other girl because she was avoiding her. Like Devyn got that she was scary and with her recent times of losing control over her power that she was probably something to avoid with everything you had if you were worried she was going she was going to beat you up or eat you. Have her cornered now. Devyn thought to herself as she waited until Vera was in the locker room where there was only one way to get in and get out unless you went through a window.
She practically glared and growled at anyone she came past, giving them a warning that it would probably be best if they left. She wanted to talk to Vera alone and since the other girl no longer lived on campus; and Devyn didn't know where Vera currently lived, this was the best option she had to go with. "You know it's not nice to avoid someone who considers you a friend, right?" Devyn asked as she found Vera. Moving to sort of block of the other girl's escape for a moment before she moved to lean back against the edge of the lockers. She didn't really need her shades on in the locker room, but she kept them on in order to hide her black eye, but bandages around her hands would have been a clear indication that she had been in a physical fight recently.
