Aurora shuddered a bit as she slipped into the pool, something about the feeling of the cool water made her all giddy inside. Very few things could brighten Aurora's bad days and the pool was one of them. She often found herself coming to the pool to relax, it was as if this was a magical pool that could wash away all one's troubles, their biggest worries, and even their major problems. Even if it was just for a moment, it was relief for a while. Today, Aurora was here simply for relaxation.
It wasn't until she had done a lap or so in the pool and paused to take a breather that that she noticed there was someone else in the room. She glanced briefly at the girl curiously, then looked back to the water trying to make out who she was. She thought about doing another lap to think but she figured she probably hadn't met the girl, just had seen her around before. "Hey!" she called out with a smile at the potential for finding someone to swim with. She then made her way over to the edge of the pool, lifting herself up to sit in the edge, leaving her feet in the water.
The brunette grabbed the towel she had left by the pool and padded herself dry a bit, "Are you here to use the pool?" she asked, trying to remember the last time she'd shared the pool. She honestly couldn't remember, and at one point got herself to believe that majority of the students didn't even realize the school had a pool, though by no means was she about to complain about that.

Ashley had decided today was a good day to go for another swim, however unfortunately the outdoor pool was busy and also the weather was non-ideal, so she would just have to use the indoor pool, which was fine by her because she just wanted to mess around and maybe get some exercise from it.
So she got into the changing rooms, dropped off her uniform in a locker and put on a blue bikini, it looked rather good on her slender, pale figure. Although she really did not care very much about what other people thought about how she looked. Her deep purple hair was a testament to this with being a 'Screw you' to her mother complaining.
She wandered over to the pool, set down her book, towel and stuff and then wandered over to the pool, only seeing a friendly looking girl swimming over and then sitting on the side of the pool, she pulled her hair back and tied it then as the girl got out, dipped her feet in slowly.
She giggled at the other girl's greeting and point blank waved "Haiiiiii" She smiled gently.

Aurora chuckled at the girl as she admired her hair, it was all purple and frankly, pretty, and cool. The brunette waved back, "Oops, I guess I forgot that part." she said with a giggle, "Hello, I'm Aurora." se said and she moved to a chair to sit down for a moment. She had just been swimming a lot and was kind of tired so she thought she'd try and take a break for a little bit, relax if possible.
She looked at the girl and... well, she was just so close to the edge and, Aurora just couldn't help herself, the whole thing was just too tempting. She giggled a bit and flicked her hand, using her powers to force a gust of wind to push the other girl into the water. She promised herself she'd help make it up later but, right now, the opportunity was absolutely perfect.
She burst into a fit of laughter as the other girl splashed into the water. She really wasn't a mean person or a bully, but sometimes moments like these got the best of her. Hopefully Ms. Purple wouldn't be too upset, or at least allow Aurora to say sorry and try offer to make it up to the girl.

Ashley grinned, enjoying the soothing feeling of the warm water slowly running up her ankles. She always felt so at peace near the water. Not that she normally had issues relaxing or anything, but being near pools of water was just like, instantly being chilled out.
Her soothing distraction was interrupted by a sudden burst of wind chilling her back she let out an "EEEEEEEP" As she suddenly slid into the water. Thank goodness she was already equipped to deal with being in the swimming pool, or this would have sucked. The other girl had gone to sit on the bench and dryed herself. Ashley could put two and two together.
Her nose and eyes slowly rose out of the water like a crocodile staring at the other girl with a blush on her face from falling in. She was in a fit of giggles... Ashley started humming something. She flicked her hand up only for a long tube of water to snake out from the pool and come to rest over the other girl, easily several gallons.
Ashley grinned at the other girl and burst into giggles of her own. "Surfs up!" She opened her palm and it all came crashing down, running towards the pool.

Aurora let out a sort of squeak as the water suddenly drenched her, while she didn't mind it a lot, and figured she'd get back in the water in a moment, it came to her as a complete surprise during her laughter. She looked at the other girl and looked at her surprised despite the grin on her face, it was cool, a water kinetic. The whole crocodile look had her doing her out of breath from laughing, she must have been slap happy or something cause just looking at the girl made her burst into another fit of giggles.
After taking a moment to catch her breath and settle down at bit, Aurora looked to the girl and smiled, "Touché." she chuckled as she stood up, dripping wet. Well, she might as well get back in now rather then later, she was already wet and it would take a while to dry off again. She got up, made her way over to the pool near the girl and jumped in next to her, most likely obviously to splash the girl.
It never seemed to matter if the other person was already wet, splashing them regardless was entertaining to most. She wasn't she if she had actually splashed the girl, but now she was in the water with Ms. Crocodile. Hey... she thought to herself, That's a pretty good nickname. she beamed, even if it wasn't very good to others, she understood it and it had the potential of being an inside joke, assuming the two would become friends.

Ashley giggled and smiled happily as the other girl didn't seem to mind getting soaked. It was always a good sign of character if a person could take being harassed playfully just as well as they could dish it out and vice versa. She felt another fit of giggles come over her as the other girl stood up, clearly dripping.
As the other girl strode towards the pool Ashley grinned at her, still laughing. Ashley addressed her "That was fun! Oooooh, what's your naaaame-" She squeaked as the other girl jumped in and splashed her again. Ashley immediately dived under and then came back up again, pulling her hair behind her head as it dripped into the water.
She chuckled some more at the other girl. "Well I guess if you are already soaked the pool doesn't make a huge amount of difference." She let out another light giggle and swished her finger in the water, forming a miniature whirlpool where she was playing.
"I'm Ashley! What's your name?" She grinned, playing with her wet hair and the water idly while she spoke.

The other girls squeak was definitely adorable as heck and she took a very quick note to make her squeak again, and even put a promise stamp on that mental note. As expected though, the other girl ducked under the water as she jumped in. This tactic was much more effective on those that didn't want to get their hair wet, but that squeak was enough to make it worth it. As she bobbed back up from the water she let it come down as it did, pushing the top part behind her ears.
She nodded with a chuckle and watched as the other girl made a whirlpool, she always wondered what it was like to own a different, more restrictive element. She had met a few other manipulators like herself, though never once someone with water powers. She thought back to what a friend if hers once told her, that water manipulators were... How did she put it?... she wondered to herself for a moment, Stupid? she said furrowing her brow for just a moment as she was unable to recall the conversation. She felt like she was pretty close though, or summed her feelings up for them.
The brunette smiles at Ashley, "Hello, I'm Aurora, nice to meet you." she said with a giggle, mostly because of the way they had met was certainly in a way that was very unusual, and had been driving by a simple urge of a joke. "Well played." she said with a grin, "Very unexpected, that's for sure."

In her experience, Ashley had found that getting a person's name was often the first step to getting to know them and therefore, getting to make more friends who she could mess around and hang out with. Of course, usually they didn't start by teasing each other and pranking one another by knocking the other into a swimming pool. But eh, it seemed to be working for them so she would just wing it.
She smiled gently to the other girl and leaned back in the water slightly, letting the current in the pool take her slightly. It was so warm in here, she actually preferred slightly colder water but the indoor pool was where she was, so she would have to make do with it like this.
The other girl gave her name and Ashley quickly leaned back up, treading water lightly. "Aurora? That's an awesome name! It reminds me of those really pretty northern lights. I've always wanted to see those up close, they would be soooo amazing to sketch I think." There she went, just running her mouth off about her hobby.
She didn't really care, the other girl seemed cool. "Yeah! I wasn't expecting to fall into the water just yet." She winked. "Not that I mind though, the water's not sooooo bad, just a little warm."

The brunette chuckled and smiled, "Why thank you. I've wanted to see those too!" she giggled. She always wanted to see the colorful lights that she had been named after in person and not just from pictures. Even though there were really good photographers, when you got to see it for yourself it was always so much cooler than the picture.
"Oh! You sketch? That's really neat! I like to try and sketch too, though I'm not great." she said with a giggle. Drawing and stuff was always fun, though it was tough for her to do it well but she didn't really care. It was just another way for her to relax and the task, despite making her more relaxed, it still challenged her to work hard to make something worth while.
"Warm??" Aurora asked with a chuckle, "I think it's pretty nice." Aurora wasn't really one for the cold so she thought the water was fine, not that it really mattered what each of the like the temperature the water to be. She splashed some water at Ashley, "Embrace the heat!" she said laughing.

Ashley felt another gentle smile grace her lips as the other girl spoke of a desire to also see the Aurora Borelias up close. It was an odd desire to have and quite frankly often if she mentioned it to students around her age they had no clue what she was talking about, so Aurora's response was a refreshing change of pace. The other girl had good taste!
She grinned, trying to imagine the kinds of things that the other girl would like to draw, but her brain came up a little empty. The other girl's personality seemed relatively bubbly and free. This indicated to Ashley that she might like drawing breathtaking environments as opposed to boring people. But she didn't really know the other girl well enough to get a better idea.
"You sketch too?! Yay! Awesome!" She cooed happily. It was always great to meet people who shared some of the same hobbies as you.
The water girl raised an eyebrow to the splashing. "Embrace the heat huh?" She giggled and dunked the other girl with a small wave. She burst back into manic giggling.

If Ash ever decided to ask what she likes to draw, she'd reply with something along the lines of how she isn't very good at any one thing and just draws whatever comes to mind when she's in the sketching mood. Her sketching mood being whenever she had a pencil, some paper and a tad bit of free time. She didn't really sketch hardcore, in the sense that she'd sketch something but often times would stop after getting a sort of outline done due to having to go somewhere and said sketch would never be worked on again.
She nodded with a chuckle as the other girl confirmed that she did indeed. Alright, after getting dunked by the wave, she confirmed that she might not even get used to that. Luckily she was already wet so that whole part didn't really matter. She giggled as she wiped the water and hair from her face, "So unfair." she said with a laugh, "Just wait, I'll get you." she said with an innocent chuckle.
There were lots of ways she would be able to get back at the girl, and she would definitely have more opportunities seeing as there was air everywhere, all she had to do was wait, she even already had a plan that would be pretty funny. She just kind of floated there... Oh yeah... conversation... she murmured to herself. She was never really great at keeping long conversations going but sometimes she did try, "So uh, what else do you like to do?"

Ashley found herself letting out another small burst of giggles at the other girl's somewhat devious comment. How could she get the girl back. They were both in the water, They were both on the quirky artists turf, she scanned her brain thinking of ways that Aurora might try and get back at her, all of them failing. She smirked.
What else did she like? That was such a long list, how did she answer that question without rambling on for hours on end? "Ummm, well I loveeee music, I like singing and stuff, but I mean I don't really have any musical talent with like, instruments and stuff. Music sheets make my head spin." Way to let her think you are ditsy.
"I mean, there are like a billion other things, what about you though? Got any fun hobbies which just make you mega happy and bouncy to do?" She grinned playfully at the other girl, still treading water.
