Carter Crowley, a girl Blake knew from when she had brought the girl back to the school those years ago. It had been an interesting first meet that was for sure. One that Blake personally didn't like to think about because it just made her a little on the mad side. When she was in work mode to get the kid back to the school, then she didn't really have time for any whining or smart comments from said future student. Even still, Carter had to be just one of those difficult kids that Blake brought back. What was icing on that cake was how Blake ended up being assigned the girls trainer those years ago. Just thinking back on it caused Blake to sigh heavily as she rubbed at her temples, trying to push away a bad headache. The headaches were also a side effect she would have to deal with for the rest of her life because of her ability to sense other mutants and how she could not turn it off. It really did suck, but Blake learned ways to deal with it and temple rubbing with a medicine lollypop did just that.
Blake glanced at the clock in the room, squinting for a moment because her headache was making it hard to see. Carter still had time before her training appointed actually started. Blake was thinking back to how the girl would show up late and had such an attitude that had gotten under her skin. She didn't like people with attitudes that were not necessary when she was generally a nice person. Still over the years Carter had warmed up to her and they didn't have nearly as much problems as they did back in the past. Her job was to help the girl after all and that was what Blake intended to do. Even after the years that passed, she still had things to teach, to work on, and to improve as would always be the case until Carter was probably close to her thirties or so. Her fingers ran over her dog tags on her belt, switching out the one she was currently wearing for the one that fit when she would work with Carter best.
Blake had everything that she needed to train for today in the room and in her trainer’s bag. Wearing the standard trainer’s uniform like she always did when she was training, but she had it unzipped at the moment. Sucking on the lollypop and looking from the clock to the door. Waiting. They would be having a field trip of sorts after doing a few things in the room.
