Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

[Reid Chase]

Reid had gone crazy in anticipation for this slumber party. Having had a few scheduling conflicts amongst all four of the women, they finally settled on a date. It was tight but Reid was determined to make it work.

Her apartment, always moderately clean anyway, only needed a bit of sprucing up. Her fridge and pantry had been stocked full of snacks and actual food of course. They weren't children anymore. They needed real food.

She checked her liqour cabinet and grinned when that too was also fully stocked. It was ready.

Now all she had to do was wait for the girls.

[Blake Harlow]

This was either a very good idea or a very bad idea for Blake to actually be going to the whole girl’s adult slumber party. True it had been a while since she had one with all her friends and she was looking forward to it, but everyone was just so hot. Like insanely hot and while she did have a crush on pretty much all of them that meant that some of those feelings had never really gone away. She was just good at keeping them down and making it out like there was nothing real behind her teases and playful flirts. She had done her part to let Lordan know where they were all meeting up and even let Tamara know just in case Reid didn't get around to it. They had all talked together and worked out a time for them all to meet and tonight was the night. Blake figure Reid was making sure that her house was cleaned and stocked with alcohol since pretty much all of them could drink.

Blake had teasingly joked about getting the strippers and she actually had two on standby that she had gotten with her own money. She just had to make sure that everyone there would have been okay with it and not joking about it. She got males strippers to be on the safe side, figuring that was the best bet to go with for her friends. "Sure we are not going to play a game of spin the bottle or truth or dare. It will be fine." Blake told herself out loud as she had opted to go to Reid's house by herself with a bag of candy in her hand. Finding the place with ease and going over to knock on the door as she looked around. Wondering if she was the first to arrive or if Tam and Lordan were like right behind her or something.

The idea of a slumber party seemed so childish. But at the same time, it was awesome. Tamara never really had those in her youth. When there was no more than ten kids or so, it was hard to organize such a thing. And at St Cadou, most girls thought she was a bitch so it was no surprise she didn't attend that many parties back then, slumber or not. The fact that said party would reunite Reid, Lordan and Blake only made it all the more interesting. Whatever they would be planning for the evening, it will be great. Tam did have a thought for poor Lordan. She was the quietest of the bunch and she was not entirely sure the younger woman could keep up with them. They will have to go at her rhythm and help her follow. The fact they struggled a little to make it happen only made Tamara want it more.

Blake was not the only one who had thought of strippers. Tam even joked they should hire JJ. She bet the man would look really good with a bunch of bills coming out of his underwear. He would probably expect to be paid with flesh however so Tam decided that, if they were to have JJ perform for them, it will be thanks to her power. Still, not as great as a real man, so Tam made to tell Blake her idea was actually interesting and contributed.

Tam suggested to Lordan and Blake to go all together. Blake went ahead but Tam picked up Lordan. It just seemed logical, since they were all at the same place and about to go at the same destination. Arrived at Reid’s house, Tam saw Blake there already. She must have arrived not more than a minute or two before them. Tam hopped out of the car and quickly skipped her way to Blake, stealing her bag of candy so she could get some. “This will be great, we totally deserved some fun all together,” she commented before replacing the bag in Blake’s hand now that she got her share.

It was nice of Tamara to offer Lordan a ride to this slumber party that they all agreed on having at Reid's place. Lordan had kept to herself a bit too much, so much that she actually could admit of missing being around the girls. She had been okay with Blake going ahead just as long as Blake was okay with it. Sometimes it felt like they were both born conjoined at the hip so she didn't want Blake feeling too trapped with Lordan's presence around her all the time.

This girls night may have sounded too young for them but it was everything they needed and more. They were all busy with their own jobs and worth ethic that it made it difficult to find time for the four of them to sit and enjoy each others company. Lordan saw Blake almost everyday as well as Tamara for the most part but Reid didn't work within the school. So Reid's face was one that Lordan didn't get to see everyday unless they arranged lunch together or something along those lines.

She wouldn't be surprised if the girls were expecting her to be in some quiet little shell which gave Lordan all the more reason to "turn up" and really get to have fun and be open with the girls. Lordan didn't want to be a party pooper so she made sure to bring different kinds of vodka that she had stored in her large Victoria Secret's travel tote. If they were going to do this then they would do this right and Lordan would finally be the one to blame.

Once arrived, Lordan also got out of the car and followed along Tam as she smiled at Blake. "Next thing you know, Blake's sweets addiction rubs off on you". She then eyed Tamara as she snatched her share of candy and returned the bag back to Blake. Lordan could sense Reid's mind inside as she assumed Blake had already knocked or rang of their arrival.

Hearing activity at the door, Reid hurried to the door, swinging it open and beamed at the three absolutely gorgeous ladies on the other side.

"Holy shit, I swear the last time I saw you guys you did not look this pretty." She shook her head incredulously before ushering them in with a laugh.

"Come on in! I've actually got the living room set up so we can watch a movie on my wall if we wanted." She nodded before guiding the girls through the hallway and into the living room where she had thrown large pillows in the center and the screen projector in front. With no actual furniture in her house (courtesy of most of it being paid by Luke so he won custody of them all), Reid was able to just get a bunch of gigantic pillows and bean bag chairs half her size. She would never be prepared for a nice steak and potatoes dinner ever but as a bachelorette, her pad was pretty bangin'.

Flicking her fingers in a seemingly random direction, the lights began to dim. "Okay girls. I know we're all probably a little too old for this shit but let's not care for the night." Her hand reached out to the nearest hand and squeezed it tight before throwing herself on a bean bag chair.

Blake was more or less starting to calm down and not freaking out about what was going to happen tonight. It was not like this was going to end up some naked hot tub party. This was Reid, Tamara, and Lordan she was thinking about here. They were all friends, had been for a while now, and everything was going to be fine. That was all she had to keep telling herself as she ran her fingers over her various dog tags that were hooked up to her belt. She felt others with powers getting closer, looking over to see that Tamara and Lordan were here. They had come together and while Blake did recall that the three of them should have gone together, she felt like a small amount of alone time was best for her. Blake smiled as her other two friends approached but the smile turned to a small put for a moment of her candy being taken. That was her candy. Wait, she had brought it to share. Silly Blake.

"I'm looking forward to it. Good thing we all can get wasted and not have to worry about work in the morning." Blake said, with a pleased smile on her face, fully planning on getting wasted. She just hoped her wasted self was not too bad but she had been wasted around her friends before so she should have been fine. She watched as Tam took some candy and then Lordan took some candy before she got her bag back, taking some candy as well. Blake's mind was a little bit in a not so good place so when Lordan talked about her candying addition rubbing off on Tam. Her brain heard 'Blake rubbing on Tam' and it was just a slight downhill thought process from there. Mouth opening to say something but thankfully Reid was opening the door. Blake chuckling at Reid's words before moving inside and looking around the place, nodding approvingly. Following Reid as she led them through the house and brought them to the area when Blake figured they would be spending most of their time.

"I'm up for a movie, but I have to ask if you guys were serious about having strippers or not." Blake pointed out because she did need to call them and let them know if it was a go or a no go. She was already setting her bag of candy down on the floor and then soon sprawling out like a cat, making herself at home and comfy on the floor. "We are all still young, let us party with no regrets." Blake said raising her hand as if giving a toast.

Busy laughing with the two other girls on this side of the door, Lordan’s comment was rather funny considering what she had just done and she totally agreed with what Blake said, Tam had been a bit surprised to see it opening, even though they waited for that to happen. She laughed at Reid’s welcome. “My, I wish I was welcomed that way all the time,” she replied. Wouldn’t that be awesome to her ego, even if it was in jest?

This was not the only surprise Reid had for them. Tam never watched a movie using a wall as a screen. She knew the concept of it but had never seen one herself. Must be nice, to feel like in a movie theatre, only without the idiots pushing your seat with their feet or throwing popcorn everywhere. She looked around at her living room as she directed them there. Sure, someone might point out it lacked some furniture should you ever invite people for a meal or have a family but Tam was fine with the style. She knew Reid had no kid, or if she did, she never told her. So who cared if it was not functional for a family!

“Of course I am,” she told Blake when the woman brought up strippers. The only one Tam feared might not be was Lordan. Maybe she was judging her a bit harshly but Tam always expected the young trainer to be serious all the time. “I still think we should have asked JJ, that would have been entertaining. But I didn’t want to scare you girls,” she said, looking at Blake and Lordan since Reid obviously knew what to expect with the cop. The two of them shared him after all. She dropped herself on the pillows, assuming they would be large enough to prevent this fall from hurting herself, and made herself comfortable. Blake said they should party with no regrets. She raised her hand like her friend did. “I’d drink to that but I still don’t have anything. Hey Reid, I think cocktails are a necessity here,” she said, turning her head towards Reid as she called out for her.

"Holy shit, I swear the last time I saw you guys you did not look this pretty." Lordan's attention was now at their friend with the most welcoming invite. She chuckled at Tamara's response, "We should be saying the same about you." Lordan was lucky enough to have such gorgeous women as friends. Once upon a time she probably wouldn't have felt as if she was up to par with the rest of them but now that was far from the case... even if she was the quieter one.

"Reid, your place is lovely. I am sure you're tired of hearing that." The living room layout had been way better than most people that she knew and this new set up reminded her of something you'd see off tumblr. Very Grade A. When Reid grabbed the nearest hand, which was hers, Lordan plopped down on the bean bag right next to her. Lordan raised a brow at the mention of strippers, she wouldn't turn down male strippers if the others didn't but once they mentioned JJ, Lordan chuckled and winced. "I have yet to meet JJ but would that be a wise choice? I haven't heard the best of things about him." She wasn't too sure if Blake had but Lordan hadn't the pleasure of meeting JJ, a man that Reid worked with and Tamara probably had a few encounters with. She was pretty sure she heard enough to figure out that he was a complete douche.

Digging in her big tote, Lordan pulled out a few bottles among the vodkas, gin, scotches and tequilas that were stashed in there along with her slumber party necessities. She agreed with Tam...

"Dear, cocktails are always a necessity."

Blake was not the only one thinking about her friends that way. Reid had started to feel things she only thought were inside jokes with herself. The usual: "Oh I totally have a girl crush on Audrey Hepburn" type thing. But lately, especially after her encounter with Blake, Reid had been feeling odd.

Choosing to ignore that, Reid laughed along with her friends and led them in when Lordan's compliment made its way to her ears. "Thanks, Lordan! I'm not. I never get tired of hearing it. I may have been robbed by my ex but I refuse to let this space go to waste which is why I designed it exactly how I saw it on the internet, of course." She shrugged, pleased with herself.

When the girls settled in, Blake's question was met with a grin before it turned into a snort and a loud bark of laughter when JJ was mentioned. "Hell to the no. I don't trust him enough to step into my house." She chuckled before grinning at Lordan's stash. "Damn girl. You came prepared. Lemme add to that." She went over to her kitchen and grabbed the bucket of ice filled with bottles of alcohol over to the living room, sliding it on to the floor nearer to the kitchen so the pillows won't get wet.

"You can just dump them in here if you want." She waved her hand to the bucket before rubbing her hands together. "When are the strippers going to arrive? Because we need to get drunk first I think."

Everyone had been up for the stripper; good, so it had not just been all teasing talk that was going among them. Blake remaining on the floor as she reached into her back pocket and fumbled to get her phone. Going through her list of contacts to find the one that held the place where she had the strippers on standby. Yes she had them in her contacts, she had many things in her contacts that people might have been shocked to know she had a connection to. Blake and her dog tags did many things and her friends probably knew of them all, just never fully sure if things were true or did not mind all that much what Blake got into when she was bored and had free time that she didn't feel like wasting by sleeping around like she was some cat. JJ was brought up which caused her to let out a gruff noise. Reid and Tamara knew JJ but she was pretty sure she and Lordan had yet to meet this guy and from what she heard from her other two friends, she was not all that eager to meet him...but did still want to meet him.

"Tam, Reid. Would you two say that he is the type that would show up and be game for sleeping with us all?" Blake asked as she rolled over onto her back as she made the call and held her phone to her ear. Looking over at Lordan and sending her a thought mentally after copying off of her power for a moment. 'We need to meet this guy at some point.' That was all Blake wanted to tell her on that, just wanted to meet this guy that Tam and Reid apparently knew so well and gave them certain reviews that interested and also worried Blake on some level. Blake stood up then, grabbing some ice out of bucket that Reid brought out after Lordan start to produce the drinks she brought, with Reid bringing out even more. Yeah, they were going to all ends up wasted. Just great for my self-control. Blake thought to herself and went still for a moment, wondering if Lordan had heard that.

Either way she gave the strippers the go and hung up the phone, going back among her friends and laying back on the floor after putting the ice in her mouth. Help her keep cool and not feel warm. Even if the drinks most certainly were going to make her feel warm. Maybe she should stay sober, or maybe she should get drunk, enjoy herself and if something happened no friendships would be messed up because they could blame it on the alcohol. Yeah, Blake liked that idea, but was also scolding herself a little bit for considering it. "The strippers will be here in a fifteen to twenty minutes. I got us firemen. Three of them." Blake let the other girls know as she sort of curled up on the carpet as if she was some cat getting comfy a moment before holding out her hand for someone to give her a drink.

There was something incredible seeing Lordan this laidback. Tam suspected she had this in her. She might be quiet but something in her eyes proved she was not entirely innocent. It was a good thing, for with the three of them, Lordan would have a hard time to follow otherwise. Come to think of it, she’d probably not consider them as friends had she been so virtuous all the time.

Tam was unaware of some of her friends’ awkward feelings developing. She always considered herself as heterosexual but there was nothing a bit of booze couldn’t help with. She was not against that kind of experience, for the fun of it. In the end, she knew a lifetime partner for her would be a guy, but she was not exactly looking for one right now. That guy however would not be JJ. The man might be a great lover, he was hardly father material. Hell, he was the kind of person you try to protect your kids from.

“I wouldn’t trust him either,” she agreed with Reid. Not to add that he would be extremely cocky during the dance and expect them all to pleasure him afterwards. Nice to look but actually too show off for that kind of performance, if such a thing could be possible with strippers. There was a limit after all. She laughed at Blake’s question regarding JJ. “Knowing him, he’ll probably expect that if he ever stumble in on us,” she answered, looking at Reid to confirm. If just mentioning Reid and Tam were friends had been enough for him to dream of a threesome, she didn’t want to think what images this little reunion would bring to his mind.

She was actually surprised at how many bottles Lordan brought. “If we end up in need of more, I think we’re bigger drunks than I thought,” she let out, seeing as how Reid got some also. They were all set then. As she grabbed something to drink for herself, she saw Blake extending her hand, almost begging for one of them to place a drink in it. So Tam did.

Lordan hadn't really understood to why Reid's ex would be as dumb as to steal her items, especially when dealing with a telekinetic such as herself. She was sure if Reid had seen him on the streets, she'd let him have it. Or at least that's what Lordan had hoped for. Getting up, she helped Reid put the rest of the bottles she brought along in the bucket and also in the kitchen next to the others. Now, Lordan wasn't an alcoholic but when it came to drinking, a respectful woman never denied a drink or two... or eight.

Raising a brow at the horrible descriptions Reid and Tamara spat out about JJ, Lordan smirked even after Blake's telepathic message. "I think I could do without, then." Lordan didn't really play nice with those who far from respectable. If anything, Reid and Tamara had much more attitude than the rest of them and even they couldn't stand him. So would it be such a wise idea for her and Blake to meet him? She didn't really think so. As for the strippers, Lordan didn't really think that the girls were serious. So they were serious? "Fifteen minutes? Firemen? Y-You guys can't possibly be serious..." She said as her gazes went from Reid to Blake then Tamara.

Ugh, they were serious. Grabbing herself a drink, Lordan then went back to the room and plopped back down on one of the pillows. Lifting her drink in the air, she initiated to somewhat of a cheers. "Well if that's the case. Here's to glass 1 out of 40. Or 1 out of 70 in Tamara's case." She said, looking at Tam and smiling.

Looking at Tamara, Reid snorted at Blake's question as she took a sip of her beer. "If a lampost had a wet hole, he'd be doing it all night long." She shook her head though after a while. "But giving him that idea is dangerous. For us, not for him." She was reminded of her and Tamara's discussion before. "No...we can't give JJ that satisfaction."

Reid laughed at Tamara's response to it before giving Lordan a sympathetic look before laughing. "Lordy, girly, good looking men dancing for us? You have to admit that is pretty damn enticing. Unless you wanted girls?" She smirked before turning to Blake with a raised eyebrow.

"Is it too late to call girls?"

"Gee thanks for that wonderful mental image, Reid." Blake groaned a little but still smirked a tiny bit because now she really did have a mental image of it all. In vivid detail except said man doing the action didn't have a face since Blake didn't know what JJ looked like. Now she really didn't want to meet him because once she had a face with the mental image, it was likely never to go away again. Blake practically chugged on the drink Tamara handed her, thankful for having it now. She really did want to get wasted this night just to forget that particular image in her head. "Well Lordan and I don't know him so if he comes up with the idea, it’s on you two." Blake gestured with her drink at Reid and Tamara and planned to stick to keeping them to blame if this JJ character showed up and wanted some fun.

Even worse Blake was already starting to picture them all getting a text and all meeting up somewhere only to find that it was all a trap. A trap in terms of the four of them being with JJ for whatever thing he had planned. Blake pretty much had the worst image of him now and was concerned about Tam and Reid being around such a guy. Then again, he was only lucky guy to at least end up with two hot babes that Blake would have been more than happy to get that kind of time with, but she would not. Friends first. That was her motto. Her motto that was now having her raises her brow when Lordon and Reid spoke about the stripper. Bringing up girls. Blake took another long swig of her drink, recalling that she felt like all her friends actually preferred guys over girl. So when Reid asked if they could get girls she could not help but to do a small smirk.

"I can call up one if you guys really want a girl as well. They only have the girl who specializes in the whole dressing up like a sexy animal thing, so if that’s you guys thing. Let me know." Blake snickered as she took another swig of her drink, rolling over on her back and going still for a moment. "I'm happy we are doing this." Blake muttered, feeling like she was about to get sappy for a moment but took a drink and started chocking a little since she was lying done.

Tam could almost pity JJ for what they were saying about him. Almost. Because the guy kind of asked for them to think that of him. He clearly was not the man you’d call if you wanted to flirt or feel desirable. He would desire you alright but his foreplay consisted of telling you he would have you sore for a whole week once he was done with you and, if you were lucky, you might have a kiss or two to go along with some groping. It did make Tam wonder why she bothered with him but Reid and she knew the answer. Despite how obnoxious he was, you were certain to have a good time. And then be treated terribly because clearly you did not matter which can only make you regret getting there in the first place.

She didn’t want to think of JJ anymore. Not when there were so many more interesting to think and talk about. Like the strippers. And the fact Lordan seemed uncomfortable. “It’s just a bit of fun. Men forced us to do that for years I say it’s only fair we get to enjoy some too,” she said with a nod. It wasn’t like those guys weren’t well paid either. You could make a nice amount of cash with that job. They better be enthusiastic if they wanted any out of Tam.

She smirked when Reid teased her further, asking if she preferred a girl. “If Lordan really makes me drink 70 glasses I’ll do one for free,” she pointed out, raising the one shot glass she had in her hands and emptying it. She didn't think she’d go that far, both about the drinks and the stripping. She shrugged though as Blake said she could if they wanted. Lordan was the one teased about it, she figured it should be her decision.
