Artemis; a male Friesian horse had not been feeling well after he got into the area where Cyril kept the sugar cubes. Cyril had made sure everything was locked up tight on both the stall and the storage area, some a student had to have forgotten something. That or they gave Artemis too many sugar cubes and tried to make it seem like he had gotten into the storage and made himself sick. That was still possible so Cyril was not going to go around and play the blame game or anything like that. He could always check the cameras but this was not all that big of a deal. He was just going to have to change up Artemis diet again to make sure it accounted for the extra sugar. He was also going to have to do some daily blood drawing from the horse to make sure he was not going to end up with diabetes or anything.
Cyril was a vet so he already knew everything that needed to be done in this case, which was mainly just monitoring Artemis at the moment. He gave him some more water and hay and was going to have to keep an eye out on his teeth. He figured it would be a good idea to let Artemis out to pasture to burn off the extra energy the sugar cubes have given him, but he was not sure. It was that unsureness that caused him to call up the local vet down in Kalispell to get a second opinion. He waited as the phone rang and got the receptionist. “Hey, can I speak to a Raphael Campbell? I was wondering if he could come up to the Bellefonte Stables for a second opinion on what to do with a horse of mine.” Cyril asked in his proper British gentlemen tone with a smile on his face. Meanwhile currently weightless as he was getting his cat down who climbed to high up in the stables and was too scared to get down.
