Many a people had told Hadley that red was her color. Her closet was filled with red tops and dresses. It was no surprise that when the school decided to host a dance, red was her go to color for the dress. Paired with her favorite pair of shiny, black stilettos, simple diamond tennis necklace, and chandelier earrings, she looked fantastic. The past hour had been spent curling her hair and putting on make up. She never got this dolled up; it was lovely.
The simple dress was a champagne red. Strapless, it clung to her figure around her torso, then draped to the floor. The back of it was tied together in a corset fashion. There was a slit in the dress on her right leg that traveled up to her mid-thigh. She felt incredibly sexy. It was great to finally have an excuse to wear an outfit like this. Whoever had this idea, she adored them.
The gym was packed with people, of course. Everyone had their mask on, so you had to look harder to see who was who. Her mask was made from a lace material. She felt like a sexy, bad ass superhero. The red lipstick that graced her lips made the mask pop. A song came on, and everyone gathered on the dance floor. It was one of those that everyone danced in a big crowd; her favorite. She made her way deep into the crowd, and flowed with everyone else. Energy flowed through her. This would be one of those moments where she produce fantastic fire. Had was happy and carefree. She loved the atmosphere in here.
White string lights were every where in the dimly lit room. Draped from the ceiling, all over the walls, and even all over the trees outside, through the open gym doors. It felt really romantic, when one wasn't dancing their heart out to a remix on the dance floor. The committee did a great job. Maybe she should join another club. It would do her a lot of good. Had shook her head and grinned. Now was not the time to think about life. She was here to have fun. And that's what she was going to do. The song changed, but the crowd didn't miss a beat. They kept dancing, so she did too.
