Climbing In-Who Are You?

So they were basically on lock-down; they being the school, and that meant Devyn as well since went to the school. Being on lockdown meant she could not go into town to have her fun, pick up things, or find other activities to distract her from other thoughts that she had been having of late. Good thing she had already gotten a shopping trip out of the way before the whole lockdown was put into effect, but she was finding herself to be a little bit bored at the moment. With boredom meant that it was time to go and find someone she could bother, by someone that normally meant on of her friends or her girlfriend. In fact, Devyn had not heard from Zoe at all today and was thinking about checking in on her but remember hearing Zoe talk about some hike with this guy. Yes Devyn didn't like the idea of Zoe being off with some guy but it apparently was Slade or at least she figured it was him. Either way since Zoe was apparently busy or what have you she was going to go bother one of her friends.

Scaling the side of the dorm building, she went to where she thought one of her friends was rooming. Forgetting that not only had the rooms been switched, but she had been on the wrong floor. Okay, so she might have had a small buzz going on from drinking a few beers she had found under her bed. They were warm but she had to get rid of them. Lockdowns tended to involve checks and since she was underage she could not be caught with beer on her so she drank the evidence. Not so smart of her because she got so easily buzzed, drunk, or wasted. Right now it was just a buzz since it was just beer and only a few cans, not like straight alcohol or anything, so she should be fine. "Yo! Best buddy!" Devyn announced as she crawled into the bedroom window, not realizing that she was on the staff dorms floor as she fell into the room with a thud. "Ouch." Devyn mumbled as she lay there for a moment, before moving to sit up and look for her friend, picking up a scent she did not recognize.

   After the school has been put on lockdown, Taylor had decided that she too would stick around. Sure, she had more opportunities to leave than what the students had, but she figured that in case anything would happen, a pair of extra hands couldn't hurt the school. The school held a special place in the redhead's heart, and there was little to nothing she wouldn't do to make sure everything ran smoothly and that everyone was fine.

   However, adjusting from living in an apartment to a small dorm room wasn't as easy as she had expected. Sure, she had lived like this during her school life, but once she turned eighteen, Taylor had moved out, and had been living outside of the school ever since. She couldn't complain though, as it could have been a lot worse. At least she had somewhere to sleep and free food. And she didn't need to get up as early as she normally would have.

   Sitting in her bed, Taylor had her hair hanging loose down her shoulders and her tabled leaned against her knees. The sudden noise and then the voice had her yanking her head to the side. Arching an eyebrow at the unfamiliar girl, Taylor pursed her lips, ''Excuse me?'' she said quickly. Who the hell was this girl? Was it a student? And... Was she drunk? Pushing herself up from the bed, Taylor stood up and crossed her slender arms over her chest. ''Who are you?'' Taylor asked, giving the dark haired girl a once over before sighing.

   Well, at least this place didn't get boring. That much was certain. Taking a few steps towards the girl, Taylor kneeled down and reached her arm out. At least she could be nice about it and not let her inner staffer take control. After all, she too had been young and drunk several times. ''Are you alright?''

Well who is this red head beauty? Devyn asked herself as she quickly spotted to woman when she heard her words. This was certainly not a student’s room and this woman had to be a staff member. Just great, Devyn had a few drinks and now she had run into a staff member. Meaning it was time to put on the charm to keep herself from getting a detention if this woman picked up the hint of beer on Devyn's breath. Devyn was wearing a tighter shirt today so it would have been easy to tell that she was female. Well, the shirt was not on tight, it was just Devyn was fighting between keeping it on or not and because she was hot. In the end she opted to just keep it on, but in the process she had ended up with the shirt being twisted and backwards. She still had an undershirt on so it was not like she was topless or anything, and her pants were fully on.

"Who am I? Some call me The Shadow Prince, but most sadly just call me by Devyn." Devyn said giving a small sigh, not really feeling the need to keep her real name hidden. Confident that she could still 'wiggle' herself out of any possible trouble for not only being underage but also just sort of kind of breaking and entering. She didn't break anything, the window was open, but she did kind of just crawl in. Even if she had done it many times over her years at the school, this was the first time she ended up in a staff members’ room. "Who might you be?" Devyn asked as a sly smirk appeared on her face, already thinking up several nicknames for the woman that was now helping her. Devyn was thankful for the help and even moved to try and give the red head a kiss on her hand as Devyn rose to her feet and started to work on trying to fix her shirt.

"Sorry about dropping in on you like that, but now that I'm here. I say it was meant to be." Devyn said, clearly already flirting and looking over Taylor to size her up and then check her out.

   ''Devyn,'' Taylor repeated with a nod, ''It's nice to meet you, even though I did not have much choice in the matter,'' she added with a smile. Maybe she should have been stricter about this, because yes, she could indeed smell the alcohol. Heck, Taylor had done the same thing - and more when she was the same age as some of the students. If anything, she had been a lot worse than most of them. Parties, drugs and breaking rules had only been the beginning. Not that it mattered though. She didn't exactly feel up to reporting the poor kid. ''My name is Taylor Morgan,'' Taylor replied with yet another nod. Arching her eyebrow as Devyn kissed her hand, the redhead pursed her lips.

   Well, this could prove to be interesting indeed. Of course, the flirting wouldn't get the girl anywhere, but it was an interesting tactic. One Taylor had used herself on several occasions. It usually worked better with males though, so there was that. Besides, it wasn't like Taylor was easy to seduce. She was far too picky and far too prideful to stoop to such a level.

   ''Meant to be, huh?'' Taylor asked, ''That's an interesting choice of words.'' Crossing her arms over her chest, Taylor took a step backwards. ''I don't know about that though, considering the only meant to be here would be me reporting you for drinking and being outside your room after curfew,'' Taylor pointed out. Her voice wasn't aggressive or even strict; She kept her demeanor calm and collected. Just like she had been trained to.

"Sometimes the ones you have no control over turn out to be the best kind of meetings." Devyn said keeping her smirk as her green eyes now were looking around the room, taking in the scents. This woman could not have been leaving here long, her scent was not heavy enough in the room and there didn't really seem to be the personal connection to the room via decorations. So either she was a new staff member or just was one of those who didn't really live on campus. A name left the woman's lips. A full name at that. Taylor Morgan. "Nice to meet you. What would you like me to call you? Miss Morgan, Miss T, TM...Sexy Red? The list could go on really." Devyn said as she moved to walk around the room a little, since she was in here she might as well get a good look at the room. The staff rooms still looking pretty much the same as the other dorm rooms. Which was fine. It was a simple yet very functional design to house people in.

Only pursed lips at the hand kiss, not that kind of reaction she wanted, but it was not outright a bad one. She still had time to work her charm and make sure she was going to get out of any possible trouble. Devyn was already watching Taylor closely now, the woman become Devyn's prey and it was pretty much Devyn's goal to get a certain reaction out of the woman. It was who Devyn was after all. Devyn's smirk faded a little as Taylor pointed out basically that saying it was meant to be was an odd choice of words considering that Taylor could smell that Devyn had been drinking and outside past curfew. Well played. Devyn thought to herself but moved to close the distance between her and Taylor. "All very true, but the question is...would you want to report me? That would be no fun. Waste time that could be better spent doing...other things." Devyn's words came out in a lower tone, green eyes gleaming a little at she looked at the red head.

   Taylor chose to completely ignore the girl's first line of words. She was not here to - nor was she interested in having a student flirt with her. Especially not one who was probably under the legal age and trying to flirt their way out of trouble. Sure, Taylor had no plans on punishing the young girl, but she wasn't going to let her run around doing as she pleased either. ''Miss Morgan is fine,'' she replied a little stricter than what she had to. ''Anything else would be strictly unprofessional and disrespectful,'' she warned the younger girl with an arched eyebrow. Sexy Red? Seriously?

   Amusing as it was, Taylor had no original to report the girl to begin with, but as the sucking up, the blatant flirting and... Whatever the hell it was she was trying to do now was more than tempting Taylor to do just that. Report her. ''I didn't plan to, no,'' she drolled, ''But considering you're so openly willing to not only suck up to me, but also trying to change my mind by implying other activities taking place instead of it, I think I might just have to go with yes; I am going to report you.'' she added quickly. ''And don't worry dear, I'm sure that will prove to be a lot more fun than whatever it is you're implying, which too would probably be breaking the rules.''

   Shifting her position, Taylor nodded towards the door. ''And since you offered me your name, you've made my job so much easier. Do you care to continue this little act of yours, or are we going to find some common ground where you actually treat me with some respect, rather than a toy for your amusing?''

"Miss Morgon it is." Devyn said still keeping her smirk, noting the stricker tone in Taylor's voice but was not all that bothered by it. Yet she was starting to piece together just the kind of woman she was dealing with. Even more so as Taylor began to speak about calling her anything else would be unprofessional and disrespectful. Devyn could not help but let out a little scoff followed by a small snicker at such words. "Well I was thinking that I was being very respectful. Respectful to notices that you are a very attractive woman and I was pointing it out. Yet...I suppose my words of admiration could have been too strong for a woman such as yourself." Devyn said as she ran a hand through her hair. She was just going to have to change up tactics as all. Not that big of a deal, not every flirt worked for everyone since people were different from one another. Miss Morgan was clearly more of the fiery types, at least that was what Devyn was getting, but she had a few beers.

Devyn kept her smirk at hearing that Taylor had not planned on reporting her, but it only faltered a little by the next words that left the red heads lips. Ah, so she in not fond of such tactics. Devyn thought to herself, but it still did not completely break the smirk on her face. Taylor took it all as sucking up and that apparently reporting Devyn would have been more fun than other activities Devyn might have been implying. Now Devyn could not help the chuckle that left her lips as she moved and leaned back against one of the walls. Crossing her arms and looking pretty much laid back. "Well if you are going to report me, don't you think I should do the crimes? All of them?" Devyn asked with a raised eyebrow, the smirking going back to its full sly manner as she looked at the older woman. Indeed Devyn did break rules and what she had possibly been implied would also be a break in the rules, but she had not done such things yet. At least if those were going to be tacked on to her troubles, she prefer for them to be completed and not just spoken words.

Devyn rolled her jaw, cracking it a little, not moving at Taylor's head nod towards the door. Devyn was not done yet. "Full name is Devyn Ari Solway. Devyn spelled with a y." Devyn added to Taylor's thanks for giving the name. Devyn was not scared at all. Sure she didn't want to get into trouble and would do what she could to get out of it, but if she was going to get in trouble, well then there had better be no mistakes. This was the first adult that was being stern on her in such a way, but that didn't deter her. If anything, it encouraged her to rise to the challenge. To get something out of this woman. "I meant no real disrespect. Disrespect from me would have been if I flat out ignored you and did as I pleased in your room. I acknowledge you, provided you with complements, and speaking to you in a laid back manner. I flirt with pretty much everyone who is older than me." Devyn said simply as she rested her head back on the wall. "Unless you want me to stand at attention and talk like some adult to you, well maybe I just might if you smile for me." Devyn finished up, staying where she was.

   Why was she even bothering? Really, she should have sent the girl off to bed and reported the incident in the morning, just like any other staffer would have (Or should have) done. But no, she had to offer the idea up for argument, and this coy little thing was trying to talk her way out of trouble. Quite frankly, the entire thing was rather sad. ''Cute,'' Taylor drolled with a sigh, ''But no, that's not a way you should talk to a member of the staff, so I suggest you cut it out.'' Taylor added. If the girl thought charm was going to get her anywhere, she was going to find herself sadly mistaken.

   ''You've already snuck out past curfew and have clearly been drinking -- which both are against the academy laws, so I don't really think you need to do anything else for me to report you,'' Taylor pointed out. Not that she wanted her to do anything else. Heck, if the girl hadn't been as... vulgar about it, Taylor would have let her go with nothing more than a warning. ''So please, keep whatever ideas you have to yourself. I do not want or need to hear them.''

    ''Duly noted,'' Taylor replied with her eyebrow arched. Stepping aside, Taylor gestured towards the door once more. Why was the girl even here? Any normal teenager would have attempted to get out of trouble and bailed the first second they had the chance to do so. This girl however... Ugh. When she continued to speak again, Taylor simply sighed and shook her head. ''I guess we'll have to agree to disagree -- and I should not have to do anything, not smile, not flirt back and not tell you so for you to show me enough respect to do as you're told. There is no 'if I do this, you will do that','' she said dryly. ''Now,'' she continued, ''I suggest you get out of my bedroom, and if you want to continue this conversation, I'd be more than happy to do so in the common area, or in the dorm monitor's office. Or, of course; You can leave and we'll see whether or not I choose to report you.''

“Aww, thank you.” Devyn responded back to Taylor calling her cute; it was a compliment in Devyn eyes, even if Taylor had not meant for it to be in a good way. Yet Taylor said that it was not the way that Devyn should talk to a member of the staff. Devyn chuckled a little because she talked to everyone that way, as she had said. It was nothing about title or rank for Devyn, it was about age and a person’s looks that got her flirting. Taylor was older then her, she was a very attractive woman, and that meant that Devyn was going to flirt with her. Devyn had been drinking to so she might have been pushing a few more buttons than normal, but she was not wasted or anything and still had some control over her thoughts and action. She would tone it done, or at least stop flirting with the woman since she clearly did not like it. Shame, but then it would end up no fun for Devyn to flirt with a woman that seemed to be so against it.

Taylor went on to explain everything that Devyn had already done wrong, with the whole sneaking out past curfew and drinking. There was nothing else but to report Devyn. Awww. Devyn thought, caught in a mix of wanting to fight it but at the same time was not really sure how to go about such a thing when her normal tactic didn't work. It was not even all that much of a tactic and more so Devyn being herself. Flirting was like literally as natural as blinking for her. "Alright, I'm sorry for flirting with you and pointing out how attractive I thought you are...is...were?" Devyn was not sure; her mind was trying to figure it out as she got distracted with the breeze that blew in from the window. When she had been drinking her mind seemed to get caught up on small things that would toss her into a bit of a confused state. This is why we don’t drink...we who? Devyn thought, to herself and could not help the out loud chuckled at her own mental confusion.

Another gesture towards the door that had Devyn letting out a sigh as she pushed off the wall and headed over towards the door. Well at least she went in the direction of the door until she got closer to Taylor and decided to move closer towards the other female. "I'm just asking for you to be nice have a little fun. Just because I flirt does not mean I'm trying to get you to bed with me. I enjoy talking and just snuggling with someone." Devyn pointed out as she ruffled her hair and stumbled forward a little, likely falling into Taylor unless the woman caught her or shoved her away. "Can you help me back to my room at least?" Devyn asked, giving Taylor her best puppy dog eyes, not even sure if it would work or not but she just did it.

''Thank you,'' Taylor exhaled. Well, she probably could have gone on and on about how much she disliked this situation; After all, Taylor was aggressive and she didn't like bullshit, but the girl had apologized, and she had been drinking. There was little point in furthering this, whatever it was supposed to be. Instead, the redhead took the moment to take a deep breath and calm herself down. Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out. She could do this. It wouldn't look good for her if she ended up exploding on the girl, and Taylor enjoyed her job far too much for her to get fired.

Again, Taylor was about to open her mouth so she could argue the younger girl's words, but the girl stumbled forward and looked as if she was about to fall. Normally, Taylor didn't enjoy actually touching people, because her ability had a tendency - though not as often as it could have been - of activating itself whenever she felt agitated, but she couldn't very well let the girl fall to the ground. Reaching her hands out, the redhead spread her legs as if to steady herself and supported the girl as she fell to the side. ''Easy there,'' she murmured silently before sighing. Did she fall for the puppy eyes? Of course not. Could she take the chance? Nope. ''Alright, alright,'' she sighed.

Lifting the girl's arm over her own shoulder, Taylor pursed her lips as she reached her free hand for the doorknob. Opening the door, Taylor squinted her eyes at the bright light that flooded from the common area. ''What's the number of your dorm room?'' As much as she hated doing this, she had to remember that despite everything else, she was indeed a member of the staff, and it was part of her job to ensure the safety of the students, and this was one of those scenarios.

Devyn was very thankful that Taylor helped her out from just going to hit the floor, which would not have felt good. She didn't think she would break anything but it still didn't really feel good to hit the floor. Plus Taylor smelled nice, not that Devyn was outright sniffing the woman, but she was close to her and Devyn had a little be of a higher sense all around so she could easily pick up something like someone’s scent when she was this close to them. "Sorry...room went a little spiny when I went to leave." Devyn admitted with a slight chuckle as she tried to steady herself off of Taylor, not wanting to push the woman too much. Taylor had calmed down and she did not want to insure a female’s wrath when she was not fully sober to deal with it the right way. She could end up laughing or doing something really bad, or just zoning out like she was doing a little bit now.

"Wow...you spread your legs really fast." Devyn said as she was distracted by looking at Taylor’s legs. Chuckling after a moment and shook her head. "Sorry, I swear that was not me flirting or making a dirty joke." Devyn quickly said after a moment, still having something of the giggles as Taylor took her arm and put it around her shoulder. Aww, going to help me out. Devyn thought to herself, all kinds of good feelings towards this woman now even if Taylor had been really stern with her at first. Devyn was not used to a female being taller than her, but it was still kind of hot in a way. Even more so since Taylor had red hair and that was a bit rare to see sometimes depending on where you were from. Then a question as to what her room number was and she had to think for a moment as she played with her hair for a moment.

"Ummm.....three, zero, and two." Devyn said, not getting that she had said it really weird as she rubbed at her eyes when they went into the bright light. Winching a little and wishing she had her shades. "Bright light." She groaned a little and turned her head to sort of hide in Taylor's side. "I'm a lightweight...soooo I just drank too much." Devyn responded to the question about if she was okay or not.
