The stables and a few of the horses were still pretty newish, having been there maybe a year already, but the whole club and a couple of the horses were all new. Since Cyril recently got the job he had cleaned up the place, taken care of its past residents, got some new horses, and was working on starting up a club. He was already pretty happy to have a few people already interested and coming down to check out the horses before they official signed up. It was good that they did want to take a look before they would sign up, that way they would be fully committed, and that was what Cyril wanted. Commitment to the horses and the club itself. Cyril was excited either way for how things were going to go and especially excited in this moment in particular because he was going to be able to see one of the horses that had already been here be sort of reunited with a person they had already formed a bond with of sorts.
"I sent a letter for her and everything, saying you were back." Cyril said as he gave sort of a skip over to stall number three which belonged to a Blue Roan Appaloosa male, by the name of Neptune. While the stable had been out of commission in the year that it was first built do to a lack of staff, but now that Cyril was here and basically could take care of all the horses needs because of his wide range of skills when it came to helping animals; all the horses where brought back or purchased and the Bellefonte Stables were back up and running. "Ellen Banks. Are you excited to see her Neptune?" Cyril asked the horse that seemed to be elated and having remembered the girl's name. He gave a whinny and stomped his front hoof at the ground below his feet and nodded his head. Cyril only really knew the girl's name and that she had something of a connection to Neptune.
"I will have to see what she knows before I just let her hop on your back, but she should be here soon." Cyril said as he held onto the lead rope. Neptune's halter had already been on, but Cyril was going to test to see what Ellen knew and how much he was going to have to teach her. Neptune was too busy moving around as much as he could within his stall, which was pretty big, but he could not roll over like he had wanted too. His tail gave a swish and he practically froze still as a familiar smell entered his nose. Letting out a loud neigh that made Cyril startle a little, but he quickly realized that it had to be because a girl had walked in to the stables at that moment.
