Sam leaned down, kissing Ellis as she pulled down the blonde's jeans. Again, they had found themselves in Sam's dorm. Her own shirt had been discarded somewhere on the floor a while before, and Sam found herself growing annoyed with the skinny jeans her counterpart was wearing.
Her breath was already staggered, and they were doing little more than kissing, but still Ellis had an amazing ability to capture the Boston girl's attention. When she broke the kiss for air, Sam did little to try and catch her breath, instead pressing her lips to her roommate's neck.
“All staff and students to the auditorium at once, I repeat, all staff and students to the auditorium at once.” Had Sam actually been paying attention enough to hear it, she still would have likely still ignored the message. There were much more important matters at hand than anything the school could inform her.

Sam was something of an enthralling person. So much so that Ellis found herself incredibly drawn in and captivated by her. So when the blonde ran into the brunette in the common room and she leaned in for a kiss, Ellis complied. And it didn’t stop.
And now, there they were.
But unlike Sam, Ellis couldn’t ignore the voice that poured through the entire school, and the message that came with it. However, it was clear that this girl had no intention of stopping – it was as if she hadn’t even heard the announcement in the first place. Unfortunately for her, Ellis had. And quickly decided it was something she needed to adhere to. Still, she trailed her hands through her roommate’s hair, curling her fingers around her dark locks; she felt equally plagued by the fact that she didn’t want her to stop.
“We have to go.” She tried, but her voice faltered to another breath; “Now.”
As much as she tried to carry conviction, she knew her voice didn’t. Nor did the way she tilted her neck to grant her roommate more access to her skin.

When Ellis spoke, Sam's eyebrows rose upward. It was only then that the Boston girl registered what had been said over the intercom, but it did little to actually deter Sam from stopping, especially when Ellis's voice faltered in such a way. Her fingers trailed along the blonde's thigh as she continued to kiss her neck. There was little conviction in her roommate's voice, so Sam found little means to halt.
But as the blonde continued, Sam faltered slightly, something of a frown pulling at her lips at the singular word. “We don't have to go.” She spoke against the blonde's neck, kissing it again as she tilted her head back. A smirk pulled at her lips as she lightly sunk her teeth in the skin.
Her fingers trailed back up, running along the sparrows imprinted on her roommate. “They can wait.”

The way her words poured across the tattooed meta's skin forced her to exhale a slow sigh. Ellis weighed the statement and found herself agreeing, and that was most jarring.
"Technically-" Ellis started, carrying every intention of offering some kind of mutual understanding, but not agreement. But she lost the phrase when she felt her bite down into her neck. On instinct, her hands tightened their hold within her hair and she inhaled a sharp breath.
Her intention continued to falter when she felt her hand moving. Painfully slowly across her own thigh, "They-" Ellis failed to speak when her fingers brushed along the ink beneath her skin. Immediately she arched her back, drawing towards the physical connection on instinct.
"Do you know what the phrase-" She paused to take another shallow, useless breath; "-'At once' means?"

This time, Sam couldn't help but to grin against her roommate's skin, letting out an amused breath as Ellis cut herself off with a sharp inhale. As she felt the blonde's fingers curl more tightly in her hair, Sam found her own breath wavering.
The Boston girl wasn't sure if it was amusing or frustrating that Ellis was continuing to speak; but the way she failed to properly do so only drove the brunette more. How her body fought the very words she was trying to get out was completely captivating. Sam continued to trace her fingers along the inked skin as she left a light trail of kisses along the line of Ellis's jaw.
“I don't think I do.” Sam confessed lightly, lips brushing against her roommate's ear as she spoke. “Do you want me to stop?” She leaned forward, gently biting down on Ellis's earlobe before pulling back enough try to catch her counterpart's gaze, her grin smug as ever.

Ellis finally freed her hand from Sam's hair, choosing to run her fingers along the line of her arm. She wasn't sure if it was enthralling or frustrating to be tormented so intently.
She considered the question, feeling a little caught by it. What she wanted and what she thought was required were two different things completely. But it wasn't as if she asked if they should stop. The blonde pressed her lips into a hardened line when she felt teeth sinking down into her earlobe - lips brushing against her skin - as a means to ensure she didn't make a defying sound.
Still, she caught her eyes anyway, before her gaze flicked down to catch the specified grin she was wearing. She noted it was slightly different - she looked accomplished.
"No." Her hand faltered in its movement along her arm, fingernails digging into her skin. Anything to gain some control.
Anything to inch her beyond the sparrows; "Please."

Even if Sam had already known the answer by the blonde's physical reactions, hearing Ellis say it only made the Boston girl grin more. As she felt Ellis run her fingers down the length of her arm, Sam felt the overwhelming urge to give in just then and there. Still, she held off, choosing to stall, to tease, her roommate.
Sam's eyes flicked downward briefly to the blonde's neck, catching sight of the way her pulse was erratically beating. But the moment Ellis spoke again, Sam's eyes to snap back up to meet her roommate's gaze again. The way she said it - the strain in the singular word along with the tightening grip on her arm - forced the brunette to let out a shallow breath.
Any minor thoughts of whatever might have been happening in the auditorium slipped Sam's mind as she leaned downward and kissed Ellis, her fingers brushing past the inked skin of her counterpart.

Her heart still raced - pulse still beating with such erratic intent as her hold around her roommate loosened. Still, Ellis could help herself. She couldn't stop her hands from grazing across the bare skin of her back. Ellis had to wonder how it was every touch still felt new. It was improbable, but felt like fact.
Still, she closed her eyes. It always seemed like eye contact was imperative, but the moment - the lingering feeling - called for her attention more than the strength behind her eyes.
"We should go." She exhaled through the words, but as her fingers trailed across her counterpart's spine, she pressed her hands against Sam's shoulder blades and drew her in. Held her close. Yes, in theory they should go, but that didn't mean she was ready to.

Sam couldn't help but to grin at the words, or rather, the feeling of Ellis's fingers trailing across her back as she spoke. “Shh,” Sam allowed herself to be drawn in, lightly kissing the corner of her roommate's mouth. As she pressed herself against Ellis, the brunette exhaling slowly, still trying to catch her breath.
“If it was urgent, someone would come find us.” The Boston girl said distractedly, lips brushing against the blonde's as she spoke. Really, there was little Ellis could say to get Sam to go to this thing. Had the blonde not brought it up, it never would have crossed Sam's mind. She was more than enough reason for the brunette to stay put.
Continuing, Sam placed a trail of light kisses along the line of Ellis's jaw, fingers curling into blonde hair. “I don't want to go.” She added in as lightly as she could.

Despite the fact that Ellis felt the need to argue the singular sound - the way in which she asked her to keep quiet - she decided not to. For once, it really wasn't worth it. Not when she was that close. Not when she was being that attentive.
Glancing away briefly, Ellis wondered over the weight of her statement. It was almost irritating how well it spoke to her. She was beginning to realise just how well Sam could talk to her; it was evident from that that she put in effort most other people wouldn't bother with. She cared in a way most others simply... Didn't. Or couldn't.
"You're right." She eventually reasoned. Because really, she was. It wasn't as if they didn't have the people within the school who could find anyone who was missing.
She exhaled slowly when she felt familiar lips grazing across her jaw, and she drew her eyes closed to savour the moment. "We won't go, Sam." She said, the corner of her mouth dragging into a smile as she trailed her fingertips along the Boston girl's form, "I'd rather stay here with you."

Sam continued to kiss Ellis as she waited for the blonde to answer, but she paused as her roommate stated that she was right. She was sure that Ellis could feel the smug grin Sam wore against her skin, and the brunette did little to hide the fact. There was no point in doing, because she was right and proud of it.
When Ellis exhaled, it only caused Sam's grin to grow as she again kissed the blonde, this time more slowly in an attempt to comit. Even if she was smug from the response given, Sam was more so from that reaction. Every exhale, movement, sound Ellis offered only drew the Boston girl in more. She was enthralling.
However, when Ellis spoke again, Sam pulled back just enough to try and catch her gaze. Her eyebrows rose in a surprised manner as she looked at the blonde for any sign that her roommate might be joking. However, the expression on her face showed nothing of the sort, and the feeling of growingly familiar fingertips across her form was more comforting than Sam expected. She found herself exhaling as a more genuine smile spread across her lips before she pressed forward, kissing Ellis.

Sam's sudden movement caught Ellis by surprise. She felt herself watched underneath her gaze; questioned by her eyes rather than her carefully worded questions. Her smile was captivating, so much so that her gaze shifted to the curve of her lips involuntarily before finally back to her eyes again.
Each and every time Sam wanted to kiss her, Ellis knew she couldn't help herself; that she wanted to give in to the moment. The way it felt. The idea that this girl wanted to kiss her at all - much less in a way deemed almost uncontrollable - was steadily growing to be something of a known fact.
Drawing back slowly, Ellis allowed her dark eyes to take in the Boston girl's expression. She withdrew her hands finally, instead moving to brush her fingers through her dark hair. And this time, she searched her expression. Her eyes.

Sam should have known to offer some sort of verbal confirmation. She had gotten caught up in the simple fact that she wanted to say that the Boston girl couldn't help but to kiss the blonde. Doing otherwise felt impossible; she had to give in to the moment. Give in to her.
She drew back only when she felt her roommate doing the same. Her eyes flicked open to find Ellis looking back at her. It felt strange to be looked at in such a way, especially when Sam was used to being the one searching expressions. Still, her gaze didn't waver, even as she felt the urge to close her eyes while familiar fingers ran through her hair.
At the question posed, Sam raised her eyebrows. Part of her believed she already answered the question, but she knew that if Ellis had asked, she needed an answer. Tilting her head, the Boston girl pressed her lips lightly to the sword imprinted on Ellis's forearm, but she kept her gaze focused on the blonde's. Eye contact felt imperative between them.

The simple words provided an incredible amount of comfort and relief. The way in which this girl made her feel such an easy level of comfort continued to surprise Ellis. It wasn't that long ago that her somewhat overbearing tendencies made the blonde anxious.
She curled a hand around to the back of her neck slowly, her fingernails drawing idle patterns along the small surface of skin.
"I know." Ellis replied in time, her eyes offering an involuntary look of appreciation, "I just wanted to hear you say it."

Sam’s fingers trailed up the blonde’s arm, across her collarbone and jaw line before settling on the side of Ellis’s face, her thumb lightly grazing her cheek. The Boston didn’t need enhanced vision to see the look of appreciation Ellis wore, but still the brunette wanted to take in every detail of her roommate.
Because behind the normally neutral mask, Ellis was so very expressive.
She tilted her head forward, allowing more access for Ellis’s fingers to trail along the back of her neck. “You didn’t have to go,” Sam said slowly, “Before.” Her eyebrows knitted together briefly. “I wanted you to stay.”
