Corey offered a faint chuckle as he felt the light nudge. He was fairly sure he hadn't helped much in easing her mind as the date of the trip drew closer. The weather had started to turn toward the warmer spring months but was still mild and aided by the ocean breeze.
Clad in a pair of shorts and a simple tank top, Corey moved along down the sidewalk. "It's the beach, not the desert." He replied with a chuckle as his gaze swept across the area. There were tourists wandering about the usual street stalls and store fronts. He turned, heading toward the ocean which took roughly a dozen steps before the two of them were standing in the sand on a small bank overlooking the water. He glanced to Reid as she asked her question before gesturing out to the ocean. "What do you mean?" He said. "We're here."

Reid snorted a little at his response, kicking the sand a little as they walked through. It was actually pleasantly warm. She didn't even need the sunglasses she had perched on her nose. She pulled them up and let it settle on top of her head as she looked around her.
"Mm. This will do." She nodded. Laying the towel under her, Reid slid her pants off, chucking it haphazardly before pulling her top off. Stretching, she pulled her hair up in a messy ponytail and turned to her partner with a grin.
"Shall we?" She asked, gesturing towards the ocean.

Corey didn't have to be asked twice. With a nod he started through the sand toward the ocean. The shimmering water spread out beyond the coast, stretching as far as the eye could see. It was still early in the year, many of the tourists that would find their way to the beaches of Southern California hadn't yet gone on their trips just yet leaving large spaces of open sand for the claiming. Seemingly not content to merely stand in the presence of the Pacific Ocean, Corey started along the coast line, taking in the open, salty air with a deep breath.
"Almost reminds me of home." He said in spite of his reluctance to even travel to that end of the country anymore. "More mountains here." He mused with a faint nod of his head. "Especially the further North you go." A bit of a shrug followed then. "But it's not bad."
