Gemma felt a pink tint entering her cheeks again as the other girl repeatedly called her angel. Gemma couldn't see why she deserved such a title; She was just being friendly and welcoming, which she felt should be a given with the human race as a whole. She knew that was a fruitless hope, but it didn't stop her from trying to be as kind as she could be. Her blush only deepened as the Natalie continued to compliment her. "Aww, goodness," She mumbled with a sheepish but bright smile, giggling a little as she waved a hand at her new friend. "You really are flattering me! I'm no angel! Honestly." She then gave the other girl a playful light hearted wink. "Anyway, angel is my nickname for you, miss!" Gemma then went back to her soup, fighting to hold her her blush from seeping once again into her golden curls.
Gemma had never been called "angel" so many times before, or complimented so kindly. Natalie was truly a sweetheart; This was only further cemented when she offered their first working trip out to be free. Gemma blinked at her friend, before waving her hands defensively. "No, no! It's fine, honestly! You deserve to be paid for your work!" She then tilted her head slightly to one side with a small giggle, her curls bouncing. "I'll even treat you to a coffee break and lunch!" The world needed more people like Natalie, more so then ever before. The reporter couldn't help a bundle of excited nerves form in her stomach at the idea of working with such a skilled photographer; Her ability to capture an image was awe inspiring. The blonde continued to eat as she mused on this, eating some of the bread and using it to soak up a little of the soup. As she nearly finished, she tapped her spoon a little on the rim of her bowl. "Where are you staying at the moment? Do you have an apartment?" She asked curiously, her eyes bright.
