The body heat from her was a bit soothing, even if it was just on his arm. He was glad she hadn’t pushed him away. Although he didn’t expect her to. He smirked slightly when she responded with her own arm snaking around him. His smirk grew wider as she mentioned whiskey. “Perfect.”
Levi took in a few deep breaths of the crisp night air. This was defiantly not how he picture his night going, although he was kind of glad it turned out this way. He had been so focus on his job and dogs and stressing about his father that he had forgotten to actually be carefree and have some fun.
Once the reached her apartment he couldn’t help but let out a soft chuckle. He bit his tongue, holding himself back from his commentary. He followed as they entered her place. It was a bit more homey than his own. Neat and simple, he liked it. He let the heat from her place hit his face. “Warmth. How nice.” He said as he shot an impish look her way. He took a seat on her couch and let out a sigh. “At least my ass won’t freeze now.” He said with a grin. He leaned his head back over the edge of the couch letting it hang as his hazel eyes took in the upside down view of the room.

Selina grinned at his comment on warmth, “It is, isn’t it?” she returned with a flippant smirk. The understood innuendo needing no emphasis on her part. Selina then chuckled as he sat on her couch, “Good, there are so many better things your lovely ass could be doing,” she teased meeting his upside-down gaze. Selina then hung up her bag and slipped off her sweater, the skin of her stomach and back briefly showing before she pulled her t-shirt back down out of matter of habit.
Selina then made her way to the open kitchenette and pulled down the Jack Daniel’s with the ease and familiarity of practice before she poured him a shot. She then tossed the Tylenol at him as she poured herself a generous glass. Whiskey could warm the insides like few other things in the world. She took the two identical small glasses over to the couch and held one out to him, “Cheers,” she offered wryly.
Selina felt the warmth seeping into her bones already and she couldn’t deny that she was quite happy to be in out of the cold. She was calm and relaxed in her own home, as there was no rush and she had nothing to do tomorrow either. She could take her time, and so could he. Perhaps some would think her foolish for not being more on guard with a strange man in her household, but her confidence in her martial skill and in her ability to read people allowed her to give far less of a damn than most. She didn’t underestimate him by any means, but she didn’t fear him either.

Levi kept his head hanging as he watched her get settled. He shook his head and let out a small chuckle. "What could my lovely ass be doing?" His eyes admired her form, even if it was from a different angle. He lifted his head, allowing the blood to rush back down to the rest of his body. The throbbing was faint, but the pain was slightly still on the back of his head.
He caught the Tylenol and popped two in his mouth. Hopefully this would make everything go away for the night. He unzipped his hoodie and slid his arms out of the sleeves. He placed it on the couch next to him. His mind was surprisingly quiet for the moment. He wasn’t sure if it was because he was actually relaxed – even if he was in a stranger home - or the simple fact that his mind was focusing on the pain rather than his trivial thoughts.
He took the glass from the girl and gave a grateful smile. He gave a nod before taking a sip, and before the glass parted from his lips the amber liquid was gone from the glass. He felt the warmth trickle down his throat and slowly spread throughout his body. He knew drinking may not have been the best idea, but this night called for an exception. As long as he controlled himself, he’d be fine. If he could control himself. He had a problem, he knew it. But he also loved whiskey. He felt his mind starting to bring forward those thoughts he was so desperate to keep away. He sat up and stretched his neck. “Thanks for all of your help and hospitality.” He said with a smile, he met the girls gaze.

Selina glanced at him and smirked, “I suppose I could tell you… but I generally prefer more tactile methods,” she returned playfully. Selina watched as he slid off his sweatshirt and grinned. She drank her own shot down after handing him his own and smiled as the liquid fire returned feeling into her cold fingers. God, it was good to be home. She’d never felt comfortable in the college dorms, so to finally have a place she could truly call her own was heaven.
As he thanked her she gave him a slow, teasing once-over, “Mhmm, my pleasure,” she offered with a suggestive edge in her tone. Selina was extremely tempted to sit in his lap and show him just how much she enjoyed his company… but she waited to make sure that this was what he wanted. She’d already made her attraction to him obvious, and it was up to him whether or not he wished to return it.
Had he been less hesitant earlier, she would have pinned him to the couch a long time ago, but she didn’t want to push him too far too fast. Especially since he’d been injured… but he seemed to be doing relatively alright now. She was also within easy reaching distance, so if he wished to take up on her offer, it would be very simple for him to do so. That may have been intentional on her part, however details weren’t truly that important, right?
Selina fearlessly met the handsome stranger's eyes, her own lit with amusement and curiosity, though there was an underlying interest that she didn’t even try to hide.
