How did we end up here? (ldr)

LDR gave a small raise of the eyebrows as he noticed that they weren't headed in the direction of his dorm. Then he shrugged, maybe it was too hard for Ben to go back there. He knew it must bring up some painful memories. LDR frowned, he didn't want to bring back any pain. This was meant to be a happy reunion for the pair of them.

"S-S-S-So yo-you've bee-been to a l-lot of parties th-then?" He moved between putting his hands in his pockets and holding them by his side before going to his normal gripping of his arm. Still unsure of what he was meant to say LDR glanced sideways to Ben before looking down at his feet.

Ben snapped out of his thoughts at LDr's question. Had he been to a lot of parties? He remember the past three years of being a never ending rerun of parties, studying, sleeping around and more studying. Then again, he didn't exactly want to tell LDR that because it wouldn't be productive to their friendship. "Uhm, I've been to a fe, to be honest i've just been focusing on my studies. I haven't had time to play video games or party." Even if it was a complete lie he didn't want the younger boy to realize how much of an effect he had on him.

Even if it was completely honest he was still in denial that LDR new. "So how long have you been on the track team?"

LDR nodded at his answer, shrugging his shoulders "C-Cool..." He looked back up at him, starting to warm a bit more to Ben again. Ben still seemed still very secretive about something, he couldn't quite understand what it was. After a few moments where LDR hadn't quite niticed he was openly staring at Ben "Uhmmm...a co-couple Ye-years..."

They were nearing the track now so LDR slowed down further, wanting to extend the time he was alone with Ben. Why though? Did he just want to spend more time with Ben because he was a friend or because...LDR shook his head, looking down at his feet. Why the hell couldn't he just enjoy spending time with Ben?

Ben could tell that they were nearing the track. The tell tale signs of chatter and whistle blowing were letting him know his time was coming to and end. Did he really dare go for it? Why did blondie get to be the only one that LDR kissed? It seemed like a hell of an idea at the time, but he wanted LDr to have no time to question.

"Ah,I probably should've known that. I know you're goos at baseball. So what time do you get out practice?" He asked moving closer slightly.

"It's ba-ba-baseball, ba-basketball, tr-tr-track a-a-and bo-boxing n-n-now..." He looked down at his watch "...uhmmm I-I-I get ou-out in li-like an hou-hour...why?" LDR had come to a stop, they were right outside the locker rooms. He rocked on the balls of feet, unsure of what else he was meant to say.

There was a dull silence as LDR locked eyes with Ben, what was going in inside his head? Not sure whether or not he was meant to just go, or get some sort of secret signal from Ben to leave, LDR leaned against the wall. The only sounds which punched their silence were the whistle blows and booming voices of the coaches.

Ben nodded approvingly, he was happy that LDR was taking some kind of fighting class. "Good, because you need to learn how to defend yourself LD"Ben was aware that he was running out of time, So he jus acted. Quickly enough so that he could possibly catch LDR before he made sense to run away. He leaned in and kissed LDR. Softly at first, trying to see if he would get pushed away before slipping his tongue past the younger boys lips.

He finally step away after what seemed like forever, really just a few seconds, and stuffed his hands in his pockets. "See you in a hour then" He said walking back towards the school whistling.

LDR wasn't sure what the hell just happened. There was movement from Ben and suddenly he had a tongue in his mouth. So he kind of just stood dumbfounded. In the few seconds that it lasted LDR compared it to the surprise kiss he had received from Blair. Ben was a bit more forceful than Blair, more assertive than her. From his small experience with kissing, LDR couldn't tell what was classified as a good kiss.

When Ben stepped away LDR just stared at him blankly, unsure what to say. Ben looked confident and suave as he walked away from the kiss, like he had everything planned. After a few moments of being in a complete daze, LDR started to move into the locker room "Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Ye-Yeah...se-se-see y-you i-i-i-in a-an hou-hour..." What just happened?
