Add was tempted to point out that the boys should be doing the apologizing, not Marissa. She could hardly be blamed for rising to such heinous taunting as they produced so readily. However, Add preferred action in this case, and did so nearly effortlessly. The boys were definitely backing away at this point, mostly grabbing various parts of their body and looking at the two girls as if they were witches or something. Add didn't seem to care, instead looking at Marissa. The tutor's blank expression didn't alter at the question.
"Math," supplied Add. Already realizing that this required further explanation, she grabbed a paper, her pen flying. "That's actually my power," she said, not quite remembering whether or not she'd directly said what her ability was. It didn't exactly come up in normal conversation, and they had been mostly focused on actually studying, which didn't help things. "It's called Probability Calculation," she drew a few figures and then began drawing various equations around them, "which means that I can instantly calculate the probabilities of an event happening. This applies to nearly any event happening, and with enough information," she circled a set of equations, then pointed with her pen at the retreating guys, "I can predict things like that. If I had better training, I would probably make a very good assassin; I believe that is what has happened to some people with my gift."
Add paused, taking that in, feeling other probabilities sliding about. She looked down at the paper, nodded, and looked to Marissa. "I instead choose to tutor people with math," she nodded at the books. "are you ready to continue? Or would you like a few moments to calm down after all this?"
