Didn't know? What was Elsa even supposed to know? She looked at Bell, realizing that there was something important here that she wasn't getting. Elsa hated not getting things in general, and she certainly hated people holding something she didn't get against her in specific. She watched Bell move to gather up the frame, catching the thoughts, that it haunted her, that Elsa needed to know.
"You lost her in one of the recent events," Elsa said, putting it together, speaking almost robotically. Elsa looked, realizing that no, no she didn't know the face. But she mattered to Bell, and the way she worded it, the way her thoughts ran. She'd lost her in something recent, something that happened while Elsa had been in charge. Elsa took the photo in hand, looking at it closely.
She looked a bit like Bell, and for some reason, a bit like Alexis.
"You want me to recognize her face," she repeated, her voice again slipping into that near robotic cadence. "They all do," she took a breath, staring. "They gave me a list, and the names haunted me for some time. Was it the fire or SPECTRE?" she looked up at Bell's eyes, knowing that she needed to know. As if it mattered: she'd have a new face to haunt her and another reason nagging her to pick up a bottle.
