This human seemed a bit like that other one, Cassie. He answered her questions without whimpering or arguing against her. More and more Lupe was starting to notice how the dark haired humans seemed to be the most tolerable. Maybe her be tolerable too? She still eyed him with distrust though, even as her stomach growled slightly. If this human food is good, maybe he'll be useful after all. She though before listening to his answer.
So one was physical and the other was... Mental? She tilted her head to the side like a curious dog. "So... They form packs? And one has to do.... Hunting things? What are points?" She asked before frowning at the next one. "Passion?" She didn't understand these humans and their insensible amount of words. But then he was walking about the snake and Lupe looked down. She narrowed her eyes at the creature, wary despite what the human said. It didn't like Lupe, she could tell. It would try to bite her if she moved, she just knew it.

Seiji hoped he was explaining it all well enough, but he could tell by the tilt of her head that not everything was clear. It was so cute to see and a part of him wanted to just give her a scratch on her head. That would have been weird, but she possible would have liked it considering the way her mind worked and the way she grew up. He held back that desire for now and instead focused on cooking. Having her clean up would have been very nice as well but again he had to take things all in baby steps, so he was going to. He was the master of taking baby steps and working towards making people feel comfortable, he was sure of it.
"Well, I guess you could view them like packs. It is a group of people that work together in order to achieve a goal. In this case it would be the goal of trying to score points." Seiji explained. What were points? He was trying to think up the best way to explain all of that as well for it to just click and be easy to understand for her. "Well, in succor the two teams; packs if you will. Go against one another kicking this little ball around the field, with one team trying to get the ball into one goal while the other teams tries to get it into the other goal. If they succeed in getting the ball into the right goal, they get a point and the most point by the time the game is over, wins." Seiji explained, flipping the steaks over and moving to get the plates ready since they would be ready soon enough.
"Think of it like two wolf packs going after the sane deer, as illogical as that sounds. You know how you have territories? Now imagine that you have to chase that deer into your territory for it to be yours. That deer in your territory would now be your point." Seiji said, trying to make it relate back to animals to see if that would help. There was another question, one that Seiji was pausing yet again to think of how to answer. "Passion is an intense emotion, a compelling enthusiasm or desire for something. My passion would be helping people. I love to do it so much that when I can help someone, I give it my all." Seiji explained, putting her steak on a plate and setting it down in front of her with silverware.
He would then sit across from her and start to cut up his food, looking at her so she would look at him and at least make an attempt at using silverware but he would not force her. Baby steps. At least Sapphire was slithering away to curl up on the table closer to her master now.
