Devyn gave a thumbs up when Selina was cool with helping cooking with her and could not help at the whole 'not a pro yet' comment. She didn't think either of them were pro cooks yet, but years at it and she was sure that they would both be pretty good. At least for Devyn she would be good at cooking things with meat in them but never ask her to bake anything. It had taken way too many tries to just bake Vera a small birthday cake and she was still not sure if it was all the good. Like it was probably good but nothing something that you were ready to eat the whole cake in one sitting, well.

As for the whole Karsen thing, Devyn just bit her tongue and let the growl still slip out as the conversation stayed on him a little longer. She really, really didn't like that boy and honestly thought about killing him back when she had went to confront him. He was just so lucky Vera had called and that alone had been enough to pull her out of her animalistic trance that the boy had made her slip into so easily. She said that he as clean, of age, and that she used protection which would have made it better if she was still not allowing the Karsen kid to put his junk inside her. Ugh, she wanted to gag just thinking about it. Why did she say that butt-nuggets was a liar?

"He denied his involvement in the whole sex toy. Like he said that he was made to do it and didn't even want to but if that had been true he would not have done it. He would have reported the teacher and not end up claiming the product as his own and trying to make a profit off of it." Devyn pointed out. If he would have just admitted that he was a part of it, she might not have hated him as much. However; he laid, tried to make himself look like he was the victim, and then was all defensive and didn't want to get rid of something that he supposedly didn’t even want.

All of it pissed her off. That was why she needed something with fighting in it in order to help get out the mood she wanted to take out physically. She supposed she would have sparred with Selina, but that was never a good idea when she was actually upset. "Got it, you tell me the same too!" Devyn called out from her room as she looked through her stack of movies that were mostly under her bed where she stored a lot of things. "Awesome. I need something with people punching and kicking one another. It's long." Devyn pointed out as she grabbed the movie and headed back into the common area to hook things up so they could get to watching it.

    Selina frowned at learning that. Apparently he wasn't as brave as she'd thought. "Yeah, he definitely wasn't forced into anything," Selina agreed. Damnit. He'd really dug himself into a hole with Devyn, hadn't he? Selina just hoped he was smart enough to stay out of her way from now on. Otherwise, she honestly feared for his health, possibly his life. She had a feeling Devyn wasn't one to go easy on those who'd crossed her. Selina was the same way, so she could recognize it in others.  
 
    "I need it too," Selina admitted wryly. She still had the urge to kill that boy an she needed something to help get that fire out of her system. The only reason she'd held back on murdering him so far was the thought of how her mother and Maria would react to the news. There was also the fact that if Selina ended up in jail, she wouldn't be able to provide for the two of them, and that was something she was always concerned with, whether she had to be or not.

     She wouldn't bring up Karsen any further if it affected Devyn this much. She had a feeling that the kid would remain a sore spot for Devyn for quite some time. Selina understood that too. There were some people's names that she couldn't hear to this day without a blinding rage overcoming her, and they'd disappeared from her life years ago. She watched as Devyn hooked things up and was read to offer help again if it was needed.

"I knew it! Fucking lair! He was contradicting himself left and right!" Devyn could not help but to yell as it had been confirmed. Karsen had chosen to be a part of it, but instead he had played the blame game and acted like he had no part in it. Ugh, people like him really pissed Devyn off and she bet he didn't even understand what he had done. His lie, his getting her angry with him, and then snitching almost broke her and Vera up. No jokes, she had almost ended it with the other girl after their fight on the road trip.

Well, that had might have been looking at it on the extreme, but they had both hit one another and things had been pretty high tension back then. Dev was just happy that Vera was understanding and that they had been able to work through it and become stronger from it all. "He even told on me to Vera, can you believe that? He snitched on me no to the school but my girlfriend for punching him and breaking one of his computers." Devyn informed Selina. It was probably not good to be talking bad about the guy when he was not around, but Dev didn’t care.

She was still pissed at him and it felt good to be able to get that all off her chest instead of holding it on the inside. "Sorry about that, I'm done." Dev assured Selina, still recalling that the other girl was friends with him. Dev would not be friends with him and he was currently in her black book but she was not going to treat Selina bad just because she involved herself with that scum. Dev took a quick deep breath, getting herself under control when the shadows started to move a lot again and then focused on getting things all set up which didn't take long.

"Alright, sit your but down and let’s get to watching this movie. Wanna snuggle?" Devyn spoke up as she got comfortable on the couch. She patted a spot next to her on the couch, adding that bit about snuggling for fun and again just teasing the other girl. Honestly would not have mind snuggling up with Selina if she had known her just a little bit better, because Dev did like to be close to those she was close with.
