Oh for goodness sake. How does this rare and strange creature known as Frank Cox ever dress herself in the morning her head is so full of cotton candy. The things she came up with...maybe that was part of the reason why Ellen wanted nothing to do with her. What if this was Frank goal? What if she made Ellen snap one day just totally cause a complete mental breakdown and then that's when Frank strikes and then the night thing Ellen knows she's sitting down next to Frank her hair in two long pig talls a big doopy smile on her face in her PJ's eating candy with Frank while they watch disney moves giggling.
The mental image was enough to give her nightmares...
Even now the position of the mentality of Frank Cox was effecting her, She was halfway through sticking her tongue out at Frank herself before she stops herself just in time. What is it about Frank Cox that made her act like that?
"RightOkay, okay, okay, wellshoot. -I-Do the thing Well I'm trying to-Set up the rules.
Ellen looked at Frank for the longest time her eyes narrowed at that irritatingly cheerful face as if asking "Is that it? Are you done? Nothing else to say? Because now is the time to shut up" After waiting several seconds Ellen took a deep breath and began "Ok, I-I'm ready"
She deserves a freaking medal for not strangling Frank right there...
"If I do this...and I'm not agreeing to it. But if hypothetically if I' do this and we have to meet and deal with other people. YOU DON'T SAY A WORD. Not a peep. You smile and nod and you let me talk."

Frank did the whole talking between bits thing, actually matching Ellen almost too well as she did so. She caught the deep breath and actually went silent, albeit while vibrating all the while, clearly barely suppressing the urge to start bursting (either into song or into squealing; it was hard to say which and the odds were about even). however, she somehow managed to remain quiet as Ellen continued.
And still held it as she went on, talking about other people (made sense: you needed investors and Frank had only bought so much property already). Frank paused for a moment, considering. This was obviously one of those important things and she knew that it was better for her to just nod along with Ellen's ideas. Plus, nothing said that Ellen wouldn't change her mind and let her talk at least a little during actual meetings. Not, like, to do the official stuff if Ellen was going to be insistent about it.
So Frank nodded a few more times, wanting to make sure that she was quite clear since, well, obviously talking wasn't an option at the moment.

Wonders of wonders. Frank actually listened to something Ellen said. It's a miracle. Maybe she should pat her head, scratch behind her ear and give her a doggy treat for actually not talking for one of the rare moments of life.
Ellen didn't say anything for a moment, just savoring the silence, who knew when she'd be ever be so lucky. again...
Good she was agreeing too, which was somewhat surprising considering how she was such a busy body, a part of her was hoping that anything she said was an ultimatum and Frank would forget the whole thing "No glitter. Not in the offices. Not in any property. Not on the business cards. NO WHERE"

The silence was killing Frank. She practically vibrated with the urge to start talking, to say anything. But she knew she had to actually be silent and still for at least a little bit longer to show Ellen that she was super serious about this. Because Frank really did want to start using her money to make a difference, and she had this gut feeling that if Ellen got pulled along with her, then Ellen would start down the path of goodness and become like all those characters on the shows that used to be evil and still have that kinda sexy bad guy edge but are actually forces of all things good and right.
"okay," Frank said, then paused for a moment. "But," Frank took a breath, templing her fingers and then pointing them at Ellen, trying to look every inch the businesswoman. "What if we're in the business of selling glitter? Or party supplies? Or strippers? Or something else that requires a lot of glitter?" Frank then pulled a face that was sort of a "gotcha" face mixed with a "how do you handle" that while still totally being super serious and professional.

Good. Let her suffer. It was about time she wasn't met with instant gratification, maybe then she'd learn a little patience and that she couldn't have every single thing she wanted the moment she asked for it like the spoiled brat that she was .....
....Oh great, now she started thinking like Frank's mother. No, stop that. You. Don't. Care. Remember?
If Ellen knew exactly what she was thinking Ellen would quite frankly walk away again. Seriously, someone needed to tell Frank that things didn't work like that, Life wasn't a TV show. Things don't work like that
...Oh, it was her wasn't it.....
"No!" Ellen shouted out shaking her head "No, buts. Th-" But of course Frank just continued on and on... she never really stopped did she? Ellen leaned on the back of her heels and crossed her arms her head tilted down her eyes striking a hole through Frank's with an expression that screamed "You're an idiot" something that Frank should be used to at this point "We won't" Ellen stated bluntly, calmly swatting Franks hands out of her face. That was the respond that question deserved "You won't be making any independent decisions. You run everything by me. Everything. You don't do anything without my say so. Not inportant decisions, not even the colour of the offices. You don't do anything without MY consent."

Okay, no, Frank nodded along with that. She could totally listen, and she was definitely willing to listen to Ellen on this one (she was also seriously considering buying a glitter factory now, or a strip bar). Then again, nothing said that Frank had to do everything with Ellen. Just this thing.
"Right, that's kinda, like, what we're gonna be doing," Frank said, agreeing. "I run everything by you because we'd be partners and stuff and that's how partners do business together." Frank folded her arms and nodded, quite pleased with having figured this out. She'd done some research into the matter to make sure that she had everything right and in order.
"Does the color of the office really count as something important though? What about my office? I don't wanna be a pain or anything but, like, I don't wanna be confused now and, like, make you upset later because I got confused or something. Oh, I should be writing this down," She pulled out her phone and began punching at a rapid space. The words wouldn't make much sense to anyone looking over Frank's shoulder, but she definitely understood every bit.

Wow is this the longest time Frank has gone without talking? Ellen preferred this side of Frank Cox...This is much more appealing version of Frank Cox she will admit, The times she enjoyed Frank's company the most -Which in her case just meant that being around her was tolerable- Was when she actually took the time to actually shut the hell up for once and actually listens for a change and the ever present drill in Ellen's head just vanished and she can actually think for a moment which was all to rare in her eyes
....and of course she managed to tie it back to what good friends and partners they were, she could do it with anything Ellen said...
...There was still time to walk away Ellen, there was always the get out clause "No, I don''t care..." Ellen snorted "In fact yes, you should take notes. Are you ready? "I'm an idiot. and I always needs to listen to Ellen because I'm always wrong and she's always right"

Frank had her phone out and ready, staring up at her friend with that sort of puppyish devotion that only Frank could really master. If she had tail, it would undoubtedly be wagging about now. Frank nodded at the ready part, repeating the word and taking notes. But, as this was Frank, she had to say them aloud: "Ellen is an idiot, and she always needs to listen to Ellen because she's always wrong and she's always right."
Frank paused then, narrowing her eyes as she studied the words on the phone. She tilted her phone the other way and then looked up at Ellen. 'That doesn't make a whole lot of sense, you know," she pointed out. "Plus, it's, like, super mean, and you're totally not an idiot. And obviously you're not always right, because nobody is and, like, you were totally wrong about me and how we're not frieeends," Frank leaned over and put her head on Ellen's shoulder, looking up at her biffle and grinning widely.

Oh god damn it. That look. How anyone could stand that look or found it even in the least bit endearing God only knew. Is this what made her so "Likeable?" so "Utterly charming?" the look that made her look like she was going to try and pee on her leg at any instant...if that what Frank did? Just kind of imprinted on people and tried to wear them down until they submitted to the endless warmth of sun shine and rainbows and just worn them down until they fully submitted to Frank.
Well, if Frank was doing that to her, she wasn't going down without a fight....
Ellen just blinked at Frank, the vain on her forward slowly beginning to throb ever so slightly. Beginning to feel like this was no longer a game to Frank, this was just a concentrated attempt to annoy Ellen. Maybe that was it. Frank was just a master "Troll" and her happy smiley disposition was just how she got under Ellen's skin
The instant Ellen felt Frank head lean on her shoulder she backed off, Nope. She was right about that. They were most certainly not friends. Not now. Not in the past not in the future. Never" Ellen backed away and held out her hand "Give me your phone"

Frank did have some major abilities as a troll, this was true. Except that most trolls didn't operate from a position wherein they wanted other people to feel the joy and happiness. As Frank so often intoned: pranks and stuff shouldn't come at the expense of other people, or at least not in an overtly harmful way.
Frank did hand over her phone without protest, simply extending it toward the outstretched hand. "There you go!" she chirped, pulling her hands behind her back to show that she wasn't even going to interfere. "Buuut I should remind you that I'm, like, super rich and stuff, so, like, if you're gonna destroy it then I've probably got another or some way of getting others or something. And I totes memorized your phone number like, ages ago," Frank rolled her eyes. "And if you change it, I'll just like, look it up or something."
Frank tilted her head and closed an eye, considering before nodding. "yeah, that seems like most stuff. So what are you plannin', huh? Can I watch?"

She was the single most irritating person the world. If she was a troll she was damn right masterful in her role or she was insane. it was as simple as that. Either she's a terrible person or she insane it was simple as that. And seeing as she hasn't seriously been proved to suffer from any illnesses Ellen was beginning to think it was the former
....That made more sense then Frank was actually a normal person.....And that was certainly not the case with Frank.
"Thank you. So kind" She smirked as she grasped in her hand Frank's phone, God she could feel the sweetness just coming off it in waves Ellen didn't dare check anything that came from the phone, Frank's text history was no doubt an endless well of insanity of awful grammar that'll just obliterate Ellen's brain cells. Ellen's phone of course Frank Cox free. Ellen for months held back from giving Frank her number, but somehow she got a hold of it....which is fine. Ellen doesn't respond to a text she sends and Frank's Caller ID is "DO NOT PICK UP"
"Oh. I'm going to enjoy this..." She muttered gripping the phone in her hand about to throw it....when Frank spoke again, Ellen eyes flickered a litter as she slowly lowered her hand before she put it down all together resigned "You know you really ruin that for me when you do that" She scolded her tossing her phone back

In actuality, even Frank herself would probably struggle to understand her text history. Hence part of the reason she didn't mind handing over her phone to Ellen. That and she trusted Ellen implicitly. That was how the whole friendship worked, even if the other person hadn't fully proven that they could be trusted. You had to place your trust in them, to believe and hope that they were capable of being trusted and would live up to your expectations. How else could someone prove to be trustworthy if you never gave them the opportunity to actually do so?
Didn't stop Frank from telling Ellen everything. She did tilt her head as Ellen looked about ready to fling, and she had to let out a little "oooh," of disappointment as Ellen lowered her hand. "I'm sorry. Should I have waited until after you threw my phone?" Frank asked as she caught her own phone. "But really, you should've figured as much. And if breaking my phone would make you feel better, you still can," Frank held it out pinched between her two fingers. "I promise I won't get mad. Oh, unless you want me to! I could, like, throw a tantrum or something! I could even cry and get all sad if you want. I totally had to practice."
Frank was already getting into it, taking a few deep breaths and somehow managing to force her eyes to well up. "It's totally a rich girl skill, amiright?"

Well...she supposed technically Frank was correct. Ellen could be trusted with this kind of thing....but only because Ellen really didn't care about Frank's private conversations, did Frank even have secrets?! Frank just blurted out every small tiny thing that entered her mind. There was nothing that she kept to herself no matter how much Ellen wished she would
...Really....really wished she would shut up....
This was just the worse thing about Frank Cox. Nothing hurt her, nothing made a mark. nothing made her upset, she just smiled and shrugged it off as if it was nothing. Like there was a giant invisible bubble protected her from every feeling sad, or angry or any emotion that wasn't blindly happily
...And no, she wasn't going to throw the phone....
....The fun was taken out of it now...
"I'm leaving now....Stop me and I hypnotize you until you can even remember what direction is up anymore"

"oh, okay," Frank said, nodding a few times. "I'll just send you an email with details and stuff. It'll totally be all business like and formal and just awesome,' Frank smiled and gave Ellen two thumbs up. The girl did hesitate for a moment, mostly because of Ellen's last comment there. See, Frank was still totally convinced that Ellen was that one character who used to be badass and evil and got converted over to good and still had some of what made her badass in the first place (Elsa might count too, but Frank still wasn't convinced). and it was moments like this that just made Ellen keep it.
"She's so cool," Frank said with a sigh, knowing that she was probably close enough that Ellen would hear her too. Frank definitely wasn't going to try and move or anything though: that would mean that she'd ruin Ellen's totally awesome exit, and that just wouldn't be cool at all.
