Quinn could understand what Erin was talking about. He didn’t think he fell for a lot of lesbians himself but some people seemed to think he was gay and he knew for a fact that he totally sucked at showing to someone how he liked them. To him, every girl he might get a crush for happened to be the wrong one. Because he’d never dare go to them and speak up. It seemed on that matter they were not all that much different. Except that Quinn could swear she asked some girls out. She sure admitted she kissed at least one of them once.
She said she was average. Not ugly, maybe a little better than plain but not hot or even beautiful either. Just average. With a bonus for being a red head. He stared at her while she talked, not even blinking. “You’re an idiot,” he simply let out as he turned his head from her. If she thought she was not worth more than a 5, maybe 6 if she pushed it, she was an idiot.
She said the whole thing was about baby steps. Watching to know them better and muster up the courage to go and talk to them. They were really pathetic. The difference between them however was that Erin seemed to have that gut required to stand up and go to a girl. Quinn was not quite sure he had that. He was more likely to sit there and wait for one to come to him. Weren’t ladies modern now, going after what they wanted instead of just waiting for the guy to make the first move? Apparently, not all that modern for most of them as it still seemed inappropriate.
She then asked for him to smile. He looked at her with some disbelief. She seriously wanted to make a deal where he had to smile? “I don’t really like my smile. It’s awkward,” he admitted to her.
