The damned not-wolf took a step towards Lupe when she distanced herself, and the feral girl had a feeling she was toying with her. It was obvious from the expression on her face. She was enjoying this. Damned humans. And damn this not-wolf creature! Lupe thought fiercely, settling for glaring as the not-wolf answered her rhetorical question. Although Lupe would've been happy snapping at the girl, the answer did give her pause. Although she wouldn't admit it, the not-wolf was... Correct in a sense. And the wording was both a compliment and an insult.
"I don't want to learn the ways of the humans at all." Lupe decided to say instead of arguing that point. However, a scent soon distracted her and she stared at the item in the not-wolf's hands. It was meat, with some of those strange things that the humans used on most of their food. Seasoning. Lupe remembered as one piece of the strange meat was thrust in her direction. Lupe decided not to answer the girl, instead focusing on the piece of meat.
Untrusting but curious, Lupe glanced at Devyn with narrowed blue eyes before quickly taking the offered food out of her hands. Up closer, the scent was incredibly strong, Enough to make Lupe's nose scrunch up. What is with humans and making things smell so badly? Lupe wondered. However her curiosity still remained, so with a final quick and wary glance at the not-wolf, Lupe took a hesitant bite.
Almost immediately there was a small whining noise like a dog coming from the feral girl as she shut her eyes and honestly smiled, devouring the piece of meat.
