Midnight Munchies

[Lupe Silvestre]

Lupe glanced back up when the male continued talking. Her eyes narrowed slightly at his words, though she bristled a little at the word 'stole.' But then he'd returned whatever this 'lunch money' was. At least this human knew to return things to where they belonged. If only the others would do that to Lupe, she wouldn't have to deal with any of this.

"Yes." She answered simply. "You got up to eat your ice cream. What so odd about me eating meat?" She asked with a frown

Dane smirked, "Nothing, nothing its just that usually--", Dane paused and interrupted the statement with, "Do you always walk around in your bra?" It was late and he was blunt. He had gotten tired now but wanted to keep talking. Especially to someone voluntarily standing in front of him half naked. She was a forest lady, how did she have a good body? Dane left to be one of the many mysteries this girl held.

Lupe frowned at his comment and looked down at the clothes she had been forced to wear. She only wore them because otherwise the humans would think shed wanted to mate. That's what she had been told. Still, she despised the furs for all the were: scratching and just annoying. So she went as minimalistic as she could. Usually a bra and shorts. "When I'm not forced to wear a shirt, yes. I hate these damn furs you wear"

Dane raised a brow at her language. Furs? He looked at her and questioned, "So when you were with your pack," Dane paused, collected himself, and tried to be as serious as possible, "You were naked? They raised you I presume? What did you do in the winter? Oh wait, your power is you are resistant to cold?" There was a twinge of sarcasm in his voice as he continued. It was playful as to not anger the woman.

"You have no human family right? Wolves raised you I presume? Were you born from a wolf and so you're like a mutant wolf who has the appearance of a human with human intelligence? And thats your power?", He knew how ridiculous this sounded. Lupe had to be mental. A lot of strange things happened here; it was Bellefonte, a mutant school. This however, was fore sure some fantasy product of a mental illness of some sort, Dane was sure of it.

There were so many questions. Lupe could only stare with a slightly bewildered expression as the human asked about her life with her pack. Something about her being naked without the human furs, and then resistance to the chills of the wind and snow,and then another thing about her power? But then there were the questions about a human family, or if she was raised from wolves. And one particularly bizarre one about being some kind of mutant wolf or something and turning human. That last bit made her narrow her eyes at the male human threateningly.

She felt like she had been mocked in some way with all those questions. The fact that they were so ridiculous! It had to be some way for the human to poke fun at her, as others did before. But she wouldn't rise to the hair this time. Instead she only glowered at him darkly and headed towards the door without a single word to the male.

Oh gosh, not the death stare again. Dane raised a brow a smirked, which he seemed to do a lot with this one. He was so strange he couldn't help but crack a grin. "I'm joking", Dane explained. The winged boy just stood there and flapped just to warm his wings. He could feel when the were stiffening and he hated it. 

It was definitely what you would call an awkward silence.
