"You're welcome," Elsa replied easily enough, gesturing slightly in his direction. She kept listening as he outlined his plans, not sure if she wholly approved, was impressed, or should be talking him out of it. Careers in the military did work out for some people, and perhaps Richard had enough disposition for it. Elsa would certainly rather have someone like him in charge than some of the gungho types she'd encountered prior to now.
"I've heard good things about serving in the military," she offered noncommittally. She'd heard a few bad things, but the good definitely outweighed the bad, and she was willing to bet that he'd already thought through them. Elsa was about to continue along that line when she realized that Richard had yet again flipped the conversation back onto her. She had to smile at that, once more amused by his naivete.
"You could say that," she replied, thinking of her old position. "I'm going to be studying there nonetheless," Elsa really couldn't picture herself divested from the school... somehow she seriously considered her fate tied to the place. Erika was the one branching out; Elsa was the one laying down roots. "Mostly business and dance," Elsa gave another little shimmy at that before nodding. "You certainly shouldn't let my demeanor and attitude here color your opinions of the place. If you've just arrived, you're going to be there for a while. It generally takes at least four years to get your powers under control, unless you're one of those lucky types who don't have to worry about such things," Elsa knew of only a handful who really didn't have to train at all, and she definitely wasn't one of them. She suppressed a sigh, instead letting her eyes slide a little toward the stage. Things were wrapping up: they wouldn't be allowed to stay much longer.
