Sammy has the ability to shrink, He has found that he is only able to shrink to a specific size, meaning he can’t control what size to shrink too, so it’s an all or nothing gig with this one. When shrunk down he is slightly smaller than a mouse. Standing at a mighty 1 inch tall. He is able to return to full size at will, in a way that is metaphorically like a spring being released as his atoms burst back to their normal spacing. The sensation of shrinking is very disorientating as it is nearly instantaneous.

Having is atoms condensed into a smaller form makes him incredibly dense when shrunk, which helps him to survive the hazards of life on the little side, such as fighting the mighty monster known as the house cat, or falling off of a table top, which when you are tiny looks allot more scary. This won’t help against say a knife, but it will help little Sammy not break his bones from falls and decent blunt trauma.

LIMITATIONS:
While he can shrink, he can’t pick a size, its 1 inch tall or full size. While shrinking is almost instantaneous he doesn’t shrink down to the floor, he is pulled to his body’s core meaning he has quite a fall. Which unfortunately he will have to do naked as his power doesn’t extend beyond his own body.

While he is small he is very dense, he can also lift slightly heavier things than normal, and this is due to his body not buckling under the weight like he would at normal size. But he is not super strong, or super-fast. His record strength feat was removing a metal vent grate, and the most his body has ever taken without injury was being swatted across a floor by the family cat Mr Tibbles. Which is quite impressive for someone one inch tall.

Then there is time, the record that he has spent shrunk down was 24hours. However the longer that he spends shrunk down the more unstable he becomes, as his atoms try to return to normal. Meaning that he doesn’t have precise control over shifting back, with it able to happen at random after the 1 hour mark.

SIDE-EFFECTS:
He has a problem with relativity, in the sense that he has started living a life in two sizes, so a toothpick is tiny at one point, and massive at another. Which plays on his mind allot and makes sizing’s hard to guess.


There is also chronic muscle pains, which he has prescribed pain killers for, repeated shrinking really does a number on his body. When under stress or pressure he can accidently shrink down. While he can shrink down more than once a day, each time he does it shortens the length of the next shrink by one hour.

PERSONALITY: Sammy is quite possibly the happiest person that you could ever meet, always willing to help out a lost soul or sad person. No matter how small their problem (pun intended thank you very much). But really there is nothing that he wouldn’t do for someone that he trusts and counts as a friend.

Beyond the basics of his being he likes general teenage pass times, such as video games, checking out girls, although he has little luck with them, as he has found they value height, which well yeah he doesn’t really have allot to offer there.

However he is extremely easy to manipulate, having seen that from a different perspective anything can be a challenge or possible. However having had his good nature taken for granted didn’t seem to teach him anything.

He also has a deep seated love of adventuring, idolising adventurers such as Columbus and even fictional ones such as Indiana jones and Lara Croft.

CHILDHOOD: Sammy was born to Alfie and Katy lee, being an only child he was given allot of love and really seen to have whatever he needed in life, there wasn’t much that went against him and from an early age he was ready to get up and start walking. He would have to be kept on a leash for the first two years of his life as he would start to wander away and go up to everyone that he could. Which gave his parents quite allot of grief.

Once he started school not allot changed, he quickly started to make friends and was always around the houses of other kids, this gave his parents the space needed so that they could have allot of time to work on a marriage which was strong and happy. For his 5th birthday they introduced Mr Tibbles to the family, a kitten of pure white fur, which is still with them today. There was never a moment where he wasn’t smiling.

Like any kid he had a small amount of time where he ran into some bully’s, but he didn’t mind, they never got too physical and ended up becoming his friends along with most of the class, this is where he developed a strong sense to help people, he just couldn’t think why someone should be sad when the world is so great and large. With so much to be found. There was endless possibilities to the world.

ADOLESCENCE: This is where he really came into his own, for his 10th birthday he got Alfred, much to the distaste of Mr Tibbles, Alfred was an instant hit with the whole family and could rarely be seen away from the comfort of Sammy’s pockets. With a little piece of cheese to nibble on. As his body grew so did his need for adventure, no longer was he restrained by the leash to his parents, over the years he could be seen roaming the woods and getting into some sticky situations. But he always got home fine.

There was a great change in his life when he turned 14, he was sitting in his room stroking Alfred, when he got a tugging feeling in his stomach, similar to constipation just on an increased scale, suddenly he was tiny. And naked. It was incredibly freaky at the start, he had no idea what was going on, but when Alfred found him on the floor crying there was a moment. Climbing on Alfred’s back he took Sammy to his parents. Which ended in allot of screaming and crying. After 15 hours of pure chaos he reverted back to his normal size.

Over the next week he was scared, he didn’t know when it would be that he shrunk back down, or if he would at all. But having Alfred with him kept him calm. His mother also thought it would be funny to buy him an action figure with clothes that would fit little him. He didn’t find it that funny. To begin with, but he eventually tried it again, this time on his terms and enjoyed it. This is where he learnt of the things he could do when he was small. After Mr Tibbles tried to play with him that is.

Another week after that and a recruiter from a school called Bellefonte arrived to take him, his parents agreed, only wanting what was best for their son, so just like that he and Alfred where off to the academy. Ready to start a new chapter in their lives.


SAMPLE: He panted rapidly. If only he had known that the battle would have taken this long and been this hard, he would have stocked up on more ammo, more weapons and better tactics. But it was too late now, the beast was upon him.
With a mighty blow he was sent flying off his steed, crashing into the wall, picking himself up he dived for his lance, only to be met by the fearsome roar of the beast. “MEOW” echoed though his ears, far too loud for him to handle. Glaring at the massive beast he was ready to finish the fight.

“Sammy Dinner is ready!” He heard from downstairs.

Sighing he returned to normal size, the small clothes ripping off him as he grew, looking down at the weapon he was using he placed it back, a simple toothpick how it looked to much better and more fearsome down there. Throwing on some clothes he noticed the beast eyeing him up. “Come on Tibbles, we’ll just have to finish this some other day.” He said bending down and picking up the cat.
