At least the other girl certainly seemed friendly enough. She introduced herself, after of course insisting that Zoe was adorable (which just made Zoe flush and lower her head again). The poet looked up just in time to catch the two fingered salute and a few more fidgeting.
"Yes, it is," Zoe admitted, letting out a slightly nervous laugh. "if it's any consolation, I don't seem to meet many people the, ah, normal way," She offered, before nodding, "and I'm certainly willing to talk through the date and all. I'm, um," she looked behind her at Devyn and Vera and Elsa, "I'm guessing this would be in... private?"
And Zoe would hopefully be edging away, heading somewhere at least semi-private (but likely still in view) to talk with Riley. She didn't know if her friends would watch or if they were far more interested in whatever was going on behind her. Zoe had her own things to worry about now....

Just like Elsa, to make something as simple as a bid even more lively, without even trying. All she had to do was be herself. Without saying much of anything, Vera simply looked up at Elsa and then back to Zoe, then to the other bidder and back to Elsa. She was sure there were worse things than ending up with either her or Devyn. Oh she could think of a few. It was probably best that Zoe was given to the highest bidder, and that the highest bidder should be-
"Alright then. $4,000"
"Would you look at that..." Muttering under her breath before she continued to sip on her iced coffee. It was a lot but if the chick had it, then it was all worth it. Or at least Vera felt like being here was worth it. No amount of money could buy Zoe but in this case, 4k was a lot of bids today, or most of them. Vera remembered seeing Drew's sister go for more than a couple grand, now that was something. There was no way Vera would even try to mess with what was currently going on. Zoe seemed pretty content with how things ended and so Vera's work here was done.
She slightly turned to look at her girlfriend but while doing so, hoped Elsa was tuning in - As she knew her friend always seemed to make herself comfortable within the telekinetic's thoughts. Not too sure what you were tryna to prove there... but I hope you plan on retracting those claws reeeaaal soon. Vera then took a quick glance over at Elsa before her attention went back to her girlfriend. She gave Devyn a smile, brushing her hand against her girlfriend's. "I'm gonna go check out some of the other auctions. Just text if you need me." Followed by a quick peck on Devyn's lips before Vera finally left the area.

Was this seriously happening? Was Elsa up there saying those things and trying to make sure that nor Vera or Devyn won Zoe? What would honestly be wrong with either of them winning her? It was not like that had any ill plan for her, she was their friend. Okay, so Zoe was more of Vera's friend and Devyn was her friend on the loosest of terms because it was kind of hard or basically impossible to tell Zoe that she didn't want anything to do with her. That didn't mean that she was okay with Elsa implying that they were going to do anything bad or were here to try and cause an awkward situation for Zoe.
All of it was causing Devyn to growl even more, her green eyes turning shades darker, and her own shadow flickered a little bit. Then that other girl jump the bid again, out of range of what Devyn was willing to give to charity. In all honesty, she didn't really give a damn about the charity aspect of it. Devyn was tempted to jump the bid again or expected her girlfriend to but then Elsa was pretty much saying to end it there because of...well she got cut off by Zoe who also wanted it to end. Now Devyn's hand had formed into a fist but at least the growling stopped.
Only because she knew if she kept it up her girlfriend would take notice and likely worry or something along those lines. Dev was there to support Zoe but that didn't mean she was happy that Zoe had been one by some chic that no doubt Zoe would find 'fetching'; that would be a word Zoe would use. It was over and done with and Devyn planned to head out so she could calm down. The smile from her girlfriend along with the kiss helped her settle down some. "Alright, I'll catch up with you in a little." Devyn said, planning on going off on her own to calm down a little before she would go hang out with her girlfriend.
She too went to go leave but not before glaring at Elsa, making sure the girl was looking at her before she would mouth the words 'fuck you' and then leave. Once that was out of the way, she went to leave to be off somewhere in the shade to herself to settle herself down before she ended up doing something stupid.

The British girl had gone for a decent price, more than decent, when it came down to it. Elsa couldn't help but be slightly surprised, given everything. Almost as surprising was listening and watching as Zoe took some charge, insisting on ending it there. Elsa had made something of a deal with the various auctioned: if they felt too uncomfortable, then things ended. It was simple. Besides, they'd raised quite a significant chunk of change. Perhaps not as much as some of the richer ones, but given Zoe's position...
Four thousand for the Lesbian Pikachu flickered through Elsa's eyes as she studied the Brit, wondering what it was about her that drew so many people and made them want to give in. Even she'd stood back for that moment, letting Zoe do her thing.
Then she'd turned back to the crowd, settling the last few details and moving things along, preparing for the next. Her eyes had met with Vera for a moment, a thought standing out. Elsa's lip twitched slightly at that, but she showed no other sign, and she certainly didn't respond.
Her attention had remained in the area, watching Devyn for several seconds. So very butch, that one. Glaring right at Elsa, mouthing words, clearly not understanding that Elsa would pick up the thoughts as much as the mouthed words.
You might want to keep your bitch on a leash then, Vera Elsa thought to her friend, before descending and heading off. She had work to do, and she would leave this strange clutch of lesbians to their own devices.
