"Uh no, I don't mind. I grew up in a mix of the two. Closer to the more so traditional homes with farm lands down in one direction for me for a few miles. Then a smaller city down the opposite direction. That was the main place I grew up anyways, but I have been to a few places there." Erin said, proud of herself for not begin a stuttering mess. It was actually pretty easy to talk about her homes and not freak out about it like she did with a lot of other topics. Perhaps because it distracted from the other things that were on her mind, at least that was what she was assuming to be the case. She still didn't know why the woman had so much interest in her but it was not asking about personal things like her farther or if she was a mutant so everything was fine thus far.
Erin was just mostly happy that she had not passed out or outright run so far. That had to mean that she had gotten pretty good at the whole socializing things recent. At least, that was what she hoped and was currently telling herself in order to keep building up her ego and thus allowing her to be 'bold' when talking instead of a stuttering fool. She was pleased that Carmelita agreed with her about those annoying young players and found it interesting she would mess with them. "I honestly just leave the game. I don’t tolerate it in the slightest. Like I don't mind some general rage here and there but when they are just saying stupid profanity they probably don't even know how to spell or know what it means or just general very ignorant comments, I don't have time for it. Too good at the game to deal with such noob behavior.” Erin responded as she leaned back in her chair.
Okay, perhaps she built her ego a bit too much. Either way, she was blushing again as she leaned forward and wished she had something to stuff in her mouth once more. Thankfully they were talking about Carmelita playing some video games with her, which the other female actually seemed up for. Erin was surprised the older woman would even want to play games with her, but she said yes so no way could she take it back now. "Really? C-cool. Uh, where do you live?" Erin asked, figuring they would have to play at the woman's place since no way could so play at the school when she didn't know if the woman was a mutant or not.
"Oh, a gamer cafe would probably be better...since you don't know if I'm like some younger slasher or something." Erin said, followed by a nervous chuckle before she sank down a little in her chair again. Yeah, that’s exactly what you say to a woman to not make her nervous around you. Just stay inside forever. Never talk to girls. Erin thought to herself as she let out a small sigh.
