Work It Like A Runway

Carmelita glanced at him with a slightly raised eyebrow at the question. Oh ho ho, so here was a question. He was probably trying to gauge what she wanted, and if she was going to play the game he set up. Well, no use in leading him on. Although she did still hope he'd be up for that drink. He seemed like an interesting guy. "In general." She replied honestly. "I'm afraid you're not exactly the opponent I'm seeking for that sort of game." She added with a smirk.

Oh, you have no idea, Carmelita thought with a slight smirk. "Oh believe me, I understand." She said. She practically lived for the chase. She hated when it was too easy, so she usually made it harder. What could she say? She loved to play, and she loved to tease. So when she went out to hunt, she liked to have fun. "Easy is no fun."

Carmelita continued looking over the pictures before smirking at his comment. A bit confident, wasn't he? But he still seemed like a nice boy, so Carmelita didn't fault him. As long as he wasn't obnoxious, it was alright to flaunt what you had. She listened to his proposal with a nod. "Agreed. besides, I could really go for some coffee right now." She admitted with a smirk. She gathered all of her things, along with her new clothes. She decided to keep on the outfit she currently wore though. It seemed nice enough for her to wear.

He honestly didn't like for woman to bait him along when they were not actually interested and he was just thankful he tended to be pretty good at picking up on such things. It was not like he was expecting to get into anything serious right away; he just wanted to enjoy the company of a beautiful woman. Yet, he had a feeling that Carmelita was not into him in such a way and he was thankfully that she revealed the truth instead of trying to play it off. "I see. I had a feeling but I wanted to be sure." Jun Aaron replied, still a smirk on his face.

So she didn't play on his team, that didn't bother him, and it didn't change his mind at all about wanting to go out to have a drink with her. "So you really are not obtainable for me." Jun added with a small chuckle as he focused on making sure everything was packed up and put away. That also meant that after he was done taking care of his camera, he was packing up the other outfits that he did not use because they did not scream 'her'. He was even happy that she agreed the it was a lot more fun to have to work a little for what you wanted.

"Agreed, my fellow hunter." Jun Aaron responded when she spoke of easy being no fun. "Perfect. I do have to drop this stuff off to my room really quick and I figure you would like to do the same with your outfits. Meeting in the parking lot in say ten minutes? Or do you just want to meet up at the cafe?" Jun Aaron asked as he was ready to head off but would wait for her to answer before he would give a nod and head off to his room to put away his things.

Carmelita did enjoy teasing people, but she wasn't for stringing the males along. That could lead to unwanted complications, such as unwanted persistence on the part of the person she had teased. So Carmelita usually made sure that her intentions were known, or at least where her true attraction was. She smirked slightly at his answer. He didn't seem that affected by the news, and for that Carmelita was glad. "Then you're very observant." She praised.

"Unfortunately for you, yes." She joked, her smirk increasing. Jun didn't seem like that bad of a guy, and if she were actually interested in men, he probably would be one she'd be interested in. But, as it stood she wasn't. Although she laughed when he called her a fellow hunter. They certainly seemed alike in that sense.

She nodded at his suggestion. "That sounds like a plan. Let's meet up at the cafe though, since I live a bit off campus. And who knows? Maybe I'll wear one of your outfits." She said with a smirk The outfits definitely seemed nice enough she wouldn't mind wearing them that day.

It was sad news to hear because she was such a beautiful woman and he would not have minded getting to know her on a more 'personal' level but he was not going to try and change her mind. If there was one thing he really understood about peoples sexuality was that if they truly felt that way then no amount of trying to change their mind was going to do any good. Plus seeing two girls kiss was hot so it was not all that bad. At least she was still willing to hang out with him even if she was not interested in males that way, so that was all that really mattered.

"Thank you. It pays well to be very observant; it avoids making any awkward mistakes." Jun informed her as he pushed some of his hair to the side. She agreed that it was unfortunate for him and he just nodded his head with a smile. Yes, it was unfortunate but it was not like he had loss all hope in females or anything like that. He just lost hope in being able to seduce the woman, but that just meant they would likely end up being pretty good friends. She then agreed with his plan to meet up at the coffee shop. It was also good that he had given as much time as he did since her apparently live off campus.

He honestly didn't know why people would waste money living off campus when they could get everything here for free but he could not really say much on it. After all, he lived both on and off campus do to his family having moved to the area not too long ago. "I look forward to seeing you there, no matter what you end up choosing to wear." Jun responded back with a wink and then headed off. Once he was done taking care of everything that he needed to, he headed out to the Cool Beans shop where he said he would meet Carmelita and got them a table while he waited for her to show.

"Indeed it does." Carmelita agreed with a smile. Being observant was something she had picked up back home. Usually from her and Mariana, and sometimes Carlos, people-watching to find who they liked. It was fun, but it also helped Carmelita notice different things about people just from their body language. She had gotten very good at reading how a person reacted to find out their thoughts. It was a useful skill- one she was constantly thankful for.

Carmelita had known she could've just stayed at the school, but she had her reasons not to. One was just that she simply enjoyed having a place all to herself that she could escape to without worrying about anyone bothering her. The second reason was that she could come and go whenever she felt the need to shift without anyone asking any questions or getting suspicious. It would've been harder to explain her comings and goings if she had stayed at the school, and hard to sneak away as well.

"I look forward to it as well. And maybe we can 'hunt' together." She added with a smirk and a nod of her own before heading off. In the end, she had decided to just keep the dress on since she enjoyed it. When she got to Cool Beans, she placed her order before finding Jun and sitting down. "I have to say: I love this place." She voiced, looking around. It had been one of the first places she had found once she moved into the town.

Carmelita spoke of how she was looking forward to it and even making a comment about how they could even 'hunt' together. That part had him laughing a little at the thought of the two of them going on 'the hunt' with one another. "It sounds like it would be fun but I wonder if you would end up stealing all of my prey." Jun responded, teasing a little. She certainly had her looks and since they would be mostly hunting the same kind of game; females, that meant there was a chance for her to win at the hunt. Even if she would be helping him or him helping her, she was still a very attractive woman that he was certain people would gravitate to more.

In his case, he was certain that he too would get attention but from types he was not all that interested in; males, since he could easily pull off looking like a female if he wanted to. He done it in the past, purely for his job of course. They went their separate ways and son enough Carmelita was showing up and likely had not difficulty finding him. How many Japanese’s people even lived in this area? Probably only a small handful at best, but he enjoyed standing out. He was a model after all, his job was literally to stand out on a page and grab someone’s attention.

"Oh? It is an interesting little shop. Always had that warm and friendly vibe here and the drinks they sever are pretty good for being state-side." Jun responded, giving a small nod in agreement with her. It really was a nice place and the warm coffee always did make his bones feel a little better when the hot liquid would travel through him. "Anything you want, my treat and I will not take no for an answer. You can leave something in the tip jar if you really want to give out money." Jun-Aaron pointed out with a smile as he looked up at the menu and knew he wanted a cake of some kind and likely a hot drink.

Carmelita joined in his laughter at his comment about her stealing all the prey. It was certainly compliment, and Carmelita accepted it with a nod. "Thank you. But just think of it as more of a challenge." She said teasingly before they parted and eventually met up again in the store. He was fairly easy to spot. He was a very striking looking person, one whom Carmelita would've no doubt have been attracted to if she were actually into men. Or if Jun were female.

But she did not dwell on such things as Jun responded. She nodded in agreement at his remark. "They definitely are, and I appreciate the effort that seems to actually go into each drink." She said with a shrug. But then Jun was insisting that he pay for whatever she was going to buy and the blonde raised an eyebrow at him. She chuckled lightly and conceded fairly easily. "Oh alright. I'm have a caramel frappuccino" She said with a shrug. She wasn't going for anything fancy that time.

"That is one way of looking at it. Worse case scenario I can use my skills of having the androgynous look to my advantage." Jun Aaron responded, still chuckling a little. Yes, he had pulled off looking like a female before without any trouble. It was awesome how many times he was able to model for both genders, allowing him to make more money, and also just show his skills as a model. He of course preferred to be a male and liked being a male, but he had nothing against posing as a female when it was called for.

Women were beautiful, elegant, and he loved him some woman so there was no real way that he would have something against them. He didn't envy them; they had too much to deal with; with that whole monthly event and child birth, so he was happy to remain a male. Now a small part of him was tempted to try the female look to see if he could trick Carmelita. Well, he probably would not be able to trick her too much now that she had been around him long enough to get a good look at his face. "Alright, I'll be right back." Jun Aaron said as he got up to order her drink. He ordered himself a slice of chocolate cake and some coffee.

After paying for it all, he had to wait a little for Carmelita's drink to finish. The specialty drinks always took a bit longer to make and receive compared to just getting a simple coffee. As soon as he had everything, he headed back over to her, set her drink down in front of her, and got himself comfortable again. "So, since we left the topic out while we were busy and not too many people are around at the moment. May I ask what is it that makes you special? Besides your good looks and charm." Jun Aaron said with a wink. He figured she would get that he was asking about her mutation.
