Nap Even In a Bathroom

"Just means you are either a crybaby, have a lot of suppressed emotions, or both." Devyn said with a shrug followed by a chuckle. Zoe had only official cried in front of her once now. If she did it more she might get a little sterner with her about it, but in all honesty, Devyn again liked to push people’s buttons from time to time to get them to cry. Get them to be angry. Yell, scream, shout, and cry out. It was not like she got some sick pleasure from it or anything. It was just...well the best way she could describe it was with the logical that animals could feel other peoples pain. Sense that something was up. Devyn could do that in a way, or at least she felt like she did from time to time. So making people angry and pushing them to the point where they just lost it, was kind of her way for getting them to let it all out.

Devyn didn’t move and just watched Zoe for a moment, wondering with Zoe was going to be able to calm herself down. Or was she going to have a panic attack and faint right then and there. Devyn trying to imagine explain that to the nurse. She was pretty sure the nurse thought Devyn was a dog or something. A dog in terms of sleeping around with anything that moved, and that was not the case with Devyn in all honesty. She pushed thought out of her head about the nurse at seeing Zoe actually taking breaths. She wanted to move over and like pat her back or something, but space was the best thing to give someone who was panicking. Plenty of air but not too much or they would pass out. She noted that she might also need to carry a paper bag for Zoe to breathe into. She didn’t say anything and just watched her, not moving from where she was, and remaining in silence.

"I don’t see it as a mistake. Everyone needs at least one friend right?" Devyn question with a slight head tilt. Oh good she could move, she still felt a little weird, but moving was a go. That was another part to why she didn’t move over to Zoe, she had a small moment where she thought she was not going to be able to. Not sure why she thought that but she did. "I don’t know. You look pretty soft and chewy. Going to have to fight the temptation for sure." Devyn said with a wink, going right back to flirting, doing it full on purpose again so Zoe really did understand everything was alright with them. She did smile at Zoe's words. This girl really was too cute.

Keeping her. Oh...getting possessive already Dev. Thought to herself for a moment as so looked away for a moment. "Well I don’t plan on dying so easy, so don’t you worry about me." Devyn said in a more serious tone for a moment before looking back at Zoe with a very devious smirk. "I'll also just make sure to eat the best part of you. The bit of danger makes it even more tempting. Plus have to make my last meal count right?" Devyn said with a shameless smile and a wink at Zoe. Oh she knew that had to be a very bad one. She felt very naughty for even hinting to such things. She was such a teenager. Naughty teenager at that. Poor Zoe. If anyone was making a mistake it would have to been Zoe. Making friends with a person like Devyn.

Oh, it was definitely both, and Zoe was half tempted to admit as much. They said that poets felt everything twice as strong as a normal person did, and Zoe certainly fit that bill all too well. Thankfully, she was at least somewhat aware of this fact, which she thought put her at least a little above the others who weren't quite as aware. Aware enough to realize that she was essentially working herself up over nothing. That was part of the problem though: when you were aware of it. Not like your mind could really help your instinctive emotional reactions, especially when you really wanted to let them go. Really, that was the only reason that Zoe had become so aware: she needed to constantly be on alert, because a mood swing could lead to a wrong touch, and well...

Not a mistake; Zoe smiled at that. She certainly looked a lot more relieved than she had a few seconds ago. She even turned her head to get a better look at Devyn while she spoke. She's flirting again; she either really likes me or wants me to cheer up. Or both. God, I want to kiss her. Does she even realize that she's beautiful too? Striking, more than anything... dammit, Zoe, stop it! You can't even touch her, and even if you could: you're not--sigh.

Devyn had continued teasing about the eating thing. Last meal, make it count, at least the more Devyn spoke, the more immune to it Zoe was getting. She actually laughed a little by the end, her shimmering eyes seeming to light up for a moment. "Imagine if you did eat the sweetest parts of me. I'd be left forever with a hole missing, while you would be laid to sleep with my taste being the last sensation you'd ever have. Your last thought would be about how delicious I was, even as everything just sort of slips away," Zoe sighed, wrapping her hands around her knees and hugging them close, nudging her camera a little. She looked more content than she had since she entered the damn restroom now.

Aww, no blush? No sputtering? Damn, she used her flirting too much. Zoe was adapting. She was going to have to change tactics soon. Flirt another day or at least wait a little while longer before flirting again. People inside this school where not the ones she meat before she came here. Granted she still was not always so social so it was not really anyone’s fault but her own that she had not run into the type of person she expected to run into at some point. That person who would take the flirting that next level. The one that would touch, pull her close, and make a move. Mind out of the gutter dev. Scolded herself as she looked away for a moment and then back to Zoe once she was back to more or less normal-ish minded.

There was that laugh, it was so cute and Zoe's eyes where shimmering. Devyn was tempted to pull out her phone and snap a quick photo of the more or less happy Zoe. That twinkle in the other girl's eyes just had to be captured on film or digitally at some point. Then Zoe's words turned to more of a darker tone, sounding like death and all things dark. Devyn was impressed. Zoe had all these sides to her, which only made the Solway more interested and curious about her. "Sounds like a wonderful dark end for me feeling satisfied. Yet leaving you with a hole might make me come back from my eternal sleep to try to feel that hole. Just so I could eat it again." Devyn said with a smirk on her face. Great job at getting your mind out of the gutter there Dev. She chuckled a little, seeing as she was both seeing things in two different ways now.

Devyn wanted to ask Zoe more questions now, but most were related to Zoe's power and she already pushed her once today and got tears. So for this meeting she was done pushing on uneasy topics for the other girl. Flirting was also done...well she could not say that for sure because she could not help herself all the time. She was silent now, moving to lay down on the ground on her back. Stretching out and looking up at the ceiling, putting one of her arms behind her head so it was not on the hard floor. Again she was laying all over the bathroom floor but they kept it pretty clean so she was not too worried, yet she was still going to take a nice long shower tonight for sure. She patted the spot next to her with her free hand. "Come show some of your photos on your camera." Devyn kind of demanded but she had meant to ask it, just it didn’t sound like a question.

And there was Devyn enjoying the whole macabre scene that Zoe had painted. Of course, she had to turn it into something sexual, which made Zoe blush yet again. Just when she thought she might adjusted to Devyn's nearly constant flirtations, the other girl had to go and change tactics. Though Zoe surprised herself by firing back: "Your tongue would probably go quite numb attempting to eat my hole," which she immediately felt completely and utterly embarrassed about. She lowered her head as though by burying her face she could pretend she hadn't said the comment.

Devyn had, technically, brought up the camera next, which was probably a safe move in general terms. The camera was, after all, something of a security blanket for Zoe. It was the major thing she'd carried from her old life to this one, and it remained her major security amid all this insanity. There was, however, one small problem in Devyn's request. Zoe dared poke her head out of her curled up form enough to point at the camera, her words nearly a jumbled mumble: "It's actually a film camera, so I don't have the images saved. I prefer developing my photographs myself," because they had a more classic look and feel to them. Zoe didn't bother to explain that little detail though; most people weren't all that interested.

Then again, Devyn wasn't most people.
On the other hand, Zoe was still embarrassed at the comment her tongue had made without her permission, so she was caught halfway between curling back up into a ball and attempting to roll away and just jumping up and kissing Devyn to end the tension.

Devyn immediately started to choke on air, right after Zoe had flirted back. It caught her completely off guard. Did she just say that? Is this Zoe? Devyn thought to herself as she rolled over to her side, still chocking on air for a moment before starting to chuckle, hiding her face away with her arm. That had caught her by so much surprise that she even blushed for a small moment. "Zoe, that was beautiful. So well executed and perfect with your power." Devyn said sitting up with a huge grin on her face, giving Zoe a thumbs up. That was just way to amazing and Devyn still could bot believe it. How to counter that? Could she counter that? It was just oh so perfect. Her mind was not going to be getting out of the gutter any time soon.

"When you talk dirty to me like that, it only makes me want to try even more to eat you. Promise to leave you numb too." Devyn said with a wink, licking her lips a little, but not sure if Zoe caught it since she was hiding away again. So cute. She was going to call her Cutie from now on. At least until she thought of a cuter nickname for this adorable and attractive girl. She remained propped up on her elbows, still lying out on the ground and looking at Zoe, waiting for the other girl to say something, run away, faint, or get bold and try something. She didn’t think Zoe would actually be the type to pull a first move, but she didn’t think she actually flirt back so this girl was full of surprises. Which only made Devyn happy that she bothered her; and she was going to bother her more.

Well darn, she had a feeling like Zoe would be the type to keep a film camera, with the way she talked about photos, it made sense. But that mean she could not see anything unless it was in photo form. Which was just going to be her plan at some point. Just climb in through Zoe's window and look around her room. Would not be hard to find out where the other girl slept, but it might have been best to actually ask her instead of just showing up and possibly scaring the girl. Granted if she showed up say at a...Stop it. Stop going there. Cold shower for you tonight. Scolded herself as she moved to stand up on her feet and gave a big stretch and then pulled out her cell phone. "Well, I think I have kept you in the bathroom long enough. Plus class it over." Devyn said sticking her tongue out, because she had gotten Zoe to miss all of her class.

Hearing a compliment on her ability to flirt didn't exactly do wonders for Zoe, at least not outwardly. it did wiggle past that shell of confusion and embarrassment to sink within, letting her know that she'd actually done fairly well. Of course she had, Zoe could flirt, had flirted in the past, if in her own shy little way; she just knew that she shouldn't be doing it now. It felt too much like leading Devyn on by this point. not helped by the fact that Devyn had to latch onto the statement and ride it just a little further, the statement leaving Zoe's ears burning and her body tingling for whole new reasons.

As always though, there was photography to distract, for which Zoe hadn't been so thankful in ages. Though Zoe did realize that Devyn had gotten disappointed from it, "You should definitely see them sometime!" said Zoe, almost talking over loud. Zoe watched as Devyn rose, thinking for a moment that she'd messed up (again). Instead, however, the other girl was digging her phone out of her pocket. Zoe's eyes widened as she suddenly remembered that school was technically in session.

"Oh blast," she mumbled, scrambling to her feet. She grabbed at the phone, careful to touch only that as she pulled it over to take a look. Class was most definitely almost over. Then, in a burst of decision, Zoe grabbed the phone completely out of Devyn's hands. Her gloved fingers flew over the keyboard, punching something in. When she was finished, she handed it back with a shy smile. The girl's mouth opened for a moment as though she had something in mind, but she instead bit her lip, wiggled a few fingers, mumbled something about needing to get her stuff out of the classroom, and headed for the door.

Her number was in the phone, complete with her full name: Zoe Wallerstein-Smythe.

"I like that. Expect a visit from me very soon." Devyn said with a sly smile on her face, already planning several ways for them to meet again. How was she going to greet her? What would get Zoe really blushing and fumbling around with her words? Sneak up and hug her from behind. Even give her the quickest peck on the cheek. That should get her. Devyn thought to herself about it. Yes, that should easily get Zoe blushing. Only risk with that was, was if even the peck sent Devyn into world of pain. She hoped it just be a numb thing. In fact, she wondered what it was about Zoe's skin that made her deadly to touch. Was it something she ate? A chemical thing that did it? If she knew that she might be able to find ways around it, but that was a question for later.

Devyn raised an eyebrow at Zoe coming over and moving her phone so she could look at it. She didn’t mind, but she almost did growl, because it was her phone. So when Zoe did actually grab her phone from her she could not really hold back the low growl that slipped out for a moment. Just a possessive thing, she was not really worried that Zoe was going to steal her phone forever or run off with it. Her head tilted a little. Was Zoe using her phone to text someone? Was she looking up so dirty site on Devyn phone since she was too worried to do it on her own phone? "Uh..." Devyn took her phone back and looked at Zoe who seemed to be at a loss for words and then was turning to leave to get back to class. Devyn was not going to stop her this time since she kept the girl long enough. "See you later Cutie." Devyn said looking at her phone and noticed that Zoe had added herself to her contact list. Devyn chuckled and watched Zoe leave as she quickly sent Zoe a text message, before going over to the window and making an escape to go get food.

Her text was simple and so something Devyn would do: Dream of me tonight when you sleep.
