She rolled her eyes as an arm crossed underneath the one that held her phone to her ear. "Really? And how far did you think you'd get with that plan?" Honestly, Vera wished Devyn didn't need to feel like she had to do any of that. She didn't want her to go into her other form just to track her down and cause a scene. She didn't need her to ask people about her and embarrass her even more. Nor did she want Devyn believing that she needed to be caged like she was some kind of animal.
No. Just, no.
Vera had gone as far as to compromising with her girlfriend. That showed how much love she had for Devyn, because Vera hardly compromised with anyone. Anyone. "Seriously?" The telekinetic huffed. She wanted to at least prove to Devyn that she was okay. So that Dev could have a clear mind. "I'm still going to text you the address and I will text you what's going on. Okay?" She noticed both eyes on her, "But I gotta go."
Even while she said the last little bit, Vera had already texted and sent the address to Devyn. Just so she couldn't say that Vera didn't at least let her know where she was.

"Not very far honestly, but I'm not thinking straight." Devyn admitted as she let out a sigh. She really did need to calm down. She could hear that Vera was not exactly pleased with her by the girls tone over the phone. Devyn did understand that she was being a bit unfair, she just could not help it and didn't know what to do. It was kind of Vera to offer up an idea that could have worked, if Devyn trusted herself to behave. She didn't. The last thing she wanted to do was show up there and cause problem after she would promise she would be good.
So she didn't promise it and was not even sure if she should even risk trying to go check things out. Devyn didn't say anything at the 'seriously' that left Vera's mouth. Her green eyes looking down at the ground as she played with her father's ring a little. Vera still spoke of giving her the address, basically in case Devyn changed her mind. That she would keep in touch but for now she had to go. Devyn was still not certain if she would go check it out just yet, but at least she had the address and was ready to go if she did end up deciding to go.
"Okay. I l...I'll talk to you later then. Please let me know if anything happens or...well you know. Bye." Devyn said. There was a hesitation there for a moment, but she would hand up and reamin sitting on the floor with her back againts the hallway wasll. She was just going to send and think on it all for the moment. Let herself calm down and think at last a little bit rationally so she would not piss her girlfriend off when their relationship was still a bit new.

"What am I gonna do with you?" Vera nearly let out some form of a chuckle when Devyn admitted she wouldn't have gotten very far. The mixed girl seriously did not know if she was supposed to be upset or if she was supposed to find this extremely funny and adorable. "Well.. um," She pressed her plump lips together, "I'll help you think straight when I get back." Or at least she would try. Sometimes Vera worried and not for either one of them but for anyone who they didn't trust around the other. Sure, Vera was a force to reckon with but Devyn was a beast... literally.
"Okay, I will - I promise. Bye." While she was a little hesitant to hang up the phone, Vera was sure they'd both be alright. There was nothing to fret over, nothing that should have caused a panic. They didn't fight, or argue they were just fine. Vera took a deep breath while moving her phone from her ear and getting back to business.
She was going to have to do some serious apologizing.
