Yes, Quinn was getting everything he wanted but not how he wanted it. In fact, now that she was the one bringing up the fact they could stop seeing each other after this, he was not sure he wanted that anymore. If he said that though she might just hug him and call him her friend and he would then once again wish he was away from her. This might be contradictory but it was how the boy was. He loves her gifts and he wished he could appreciate the attention she gave him but it was just so hard. He couldn’t help but to think about when she’ll leave him. It was not if she left him, it was when.

She gave him the crazy look at little too soon. He was certain of what he felt, of the little he saw. Who else could it be? They were alone down there and she was the only one he knew with the ability to become invisible. She pointed out she liked girls and he was not one. “Which is why I ask you why you kissed me?” Were all lesbians this weird or was it just her thing? He would have thought he was the last person she’d want to kiss or was he the first in the list of guys she might do that with? If so, it felt too much like she was bringing back the fact he could be gay and he did not like that. He didn’t get why everyone seemed to think he was gay. When did he ever do something that could imply that?

Erin was doing her best to ignore him and the movie had started so Quinn was torn between staring at her like the weird creature she was or turn his attention back to the film. In the end, he watched the movie but he couldn’t help eyeing in her direction from time to time.

"You probably just imagined it or something." Erin said as she waved Quinn off. She then sat in silence for a moment before she let out a gasp. She then looked at Quinn, giving him her full attention as she had a shocked expression on her face. Yes, she was going to fully act this all out for as long as she needed to until Quinn just thought he imagined it. He had not proof after all, and while he was watching the movie he kept glancing over at her.

"Quin...could you have been daydreaming about me that way? You know I'm gay right? Like, I'm flattered...and a little creeped out that you would feel that way but I get that sometimes you can't help what your brain does." Erin said as she tried to console her friend on the matter. "I mean there was this one girl that I didn't like because she was a total bitch, but I still had a sexy dream about her. It happens and I won't tell anyone about it so you don't have to worry about anyone thinking you have a crush on a lesbian." Erin assured him as she reached out to pat his shoulder. Yes, perfect acting if I do say so myself.

Should have worked like a charm. Erin thought to herself as she reached back for her chips and went right onto her munching once more. She even cracked open her soda, taking a few large gulps of it before going back to her chips, and watching the movie all the while.

Quinn kept an eye on Erin. He did not imagine this. The feeling had been very real. Like Lucy, on that ship. Would he dare admit Erin just happened to be the second girl he shared a kiss with, like ever? Certainly not. This was way too embarrassing to tell her. Plus he was much too busy trying to understand what just happened and why she was in denial so much. She could just say yes and give some shitty excuse, he could not believe there was actually a good one for what she did. He just wanted to understand.

Erin however, non content to just deny it happened, decided to dig Quinn’s grave a little deeper so that the embarrassment would be all on him. Daydreaming about her? Please. As if that would ever happen! The only time he might have thought of her, she was certainly not kissing him. “What? I don’t!” he exclaimed, his attention temporarily leaving the movie to focus on her. The whole ‘I’m flattered but not interested’ thing was such a load of crap. Yes, sure, she was not interested, but she was the one who kissed him. He did not imagine this. Pinning it on him and making him a creep about this, that was so unfair.

“I am not thinking about you alright. Why would I want to dream about you anyway?” His tone had been a little harsh as he wanted this discussion to be over. She was the creep. She kissed him while being a lesbian. She was the one with the sexy dreams on bitchy girls... Okay, he might have that too but definitely not on Erin. Not even in dreams. Because his brain made her a lesbian even in his dreams. That is, should she ever be one them. Which she wasn’t. And not likely to ever be.

Erin fully did plan on making it seem like it was all in Quinn's head and that was not going to change any time soon. She was a gold star lesbian after all; she didn't want her imaginary record to be tainted because she kissed some guy. Even if kissing a guy would not have been enough to mess up her reputation, but in her head it did. So she was going to pretend like it never happened and she figured Quinn would have been ready to drop it but he was so set in proving that he had not just made it all up or something.

Should have drugged him or something, then would not of had to deal with this. Erin though to herself as she let out a sigh and shook head a few times. "Hey, say what you will. I said I'm not judging." Erin said, trying to make it seem like it was no big deal if he did or not. She kept eating, hoping he would just give up soon but he had to keep going and now he was being mean. Erin could not help but to mutter something under her breath after he asked why he would dream about her.

"I'm not you so I can't answer that. Now watch the movie, I did this for you." Erin pointed out as she tossed an empty soda to the side and cracked open another one. Erin did have a dream about Quinn, a few of them but none of them sexy either. The dreams mainly involved them going on adventurers, like one time they were living in the past as 'knight's and what not and they stole horses at the end of it all.

Had Erin told him she just wanted to know what guy’s lips felt like, he would have understood. She’d still be weird but he would have understood why she did this. Instead, she kept denying anything ever happened. He didn’t get why she had to be like. He would have dropped the matter a lot faster had she not insisted on him being hallucinating. And then she had to pretend he had wet dreams of her or something. “You’re even weirder than usual,” he let out at her. And yes, there was a lot of judgement in his words.

Quinn almost forgot about the movie. To think that started out so well. And then she had to remind him it would be the end. Now that he remembered that part, he was back to being moody and not caring why she kissed him or what kind of dreams she thought he had. He was not even going to answer that the fact he knew she was a lesbian made him unable to image her not being a lesbian, even in a dream. As for any girl on girl action, should he ever dream of that, he’d rather the girls to be some hot and more particularly random girls he didn’t know instead of students he met every day. Should he ever dream of Erin in such a way, he bet he would be able to have her coo in the middle of it and go after his ferret, preferably with the animal having his little horns on. Talk of a way to destroy the fantasy!

He focused on the movie, intending to watch it all and ignore the girl by his side. He could do that, right? It was hard whenever their hands touched because they both wanted to grab chips and other snacks at the same time but Quinn was doing his best not to say anything and barely look at her when that happened.

"And you are more than a jerk then usual when you are finally going to be free of me like you have always wanted. There is just no way to please you, is there?" Erin said getting upset with his judgment in his voice. Yes, she knew she was weird and she was acting weirder then normal but he didn't have to point it out. Not when she was trying to make this the best send off for him that she could. She always felt like he disliked her and wanted to be rid of her but she figured with time he would have softened up with her.

Instead he was still being his grumpy and cold self when she was doing this all for him. "You agreed to this being the way to be free of me so you could at least pretend to be happy before you get rid of me." Erin muttered as she pulled out a back of Twizzlers and tore into them in an upset manner. She hated feeling like this and didn't even care about the stupid kiss to make sure she was straight or the film. She had tried so hard to pay her life debt back to Quinn and get him to like her but it didn't seem like anything she did was ever good enough for him.

Even when she gave him the camera he was still the same way with her. She then went silent, not wanting to talk about it anymore. He didn't like her and wanted to be done with her then all he had to do was get through the movie.

Quinn had loved the camera. Seriously, he always had it with him. He still had his old camera in his room. He couldn’t bring himself to just toss it away. He couldn’t afford getting rid of thing still in working condition. But it was the one she offered him that he carried around. And had Erin been taking a good sniff as she leaned in to kiss him, she would have realised he didn’t smell of cigarette. Well... not nearly as much. He still occasionally smoked but it was rare. One because he was making a real effort not to buy any and two because he didn’t exactly have a lot of friends to steal a cigarette from while having a conversation. It was not like he had not liked her gifts. He did and used them. It was just really hard for him to show his gratitude.

Erin was pissed now, calling him jerk and all. She had called him that in the past but it was clear she was annoyed. She talked of how he had wished so much to be free of her and it was now his chance and that only made him grumpier. Yes, he did wish to be rid of her. So why was he acting like this? “I’m not the one trying to throw the other one away, you are,” he argued. It was a lame defense and he knew it but she was the one who brought up the fact it would all be over after this, not him. He came down here because she told him to. He barely even argued about it and didn’t say anything against her little improvised home theatre.

Yes, Erin indeed was pissed but not to the point where she was just going to leave and let him do this on his own. She was supposed to be paying off her life debt after all and it only really counted when you were paying a person back in a way that involved you. Watching a movie together felt like it was pushing it but Erin was giving hours of her time to him so it sort of did. A little. It didn't matter too much either way, she already agreed this was all he had to do with her and then he would be free of her like he wanted. Except, the words that left his mouth made it seem like that in fact was not what he wanted.

"What are you talking about? I'm not trying to throw you away. I like hanging out with you when you are not a complete jerk. You are technology my first friend here." Erin argued in her define, keeping herself from yelling just yet. She did not even bother to waste her breath pointing out that he was the one that kept talking about how she didn't owe him anything and how he basically wanted her to leave him alone. A person could only take being told that you didn't want them around so long before they would give up trying to get you to like them. That was the point Erin was at so she was just trying to get the debt done and leave him be like he wanted.

"I'm doing this for you. All of this is for you. You are the one who does not like me and wants me to leave you alone." Erin did end up speaking up. She was glaring at him now, but that didn't mean she stopped eating. Because she was so still munching and it was more of a stress eating because of Quinn making her upset like he often did.

Ok, maybe Quinn tried to chase Erin away from him. Maybe he tried to avoid her when he could and had gown a little paranoid at some point that she might just be invisible and following him. Maybe he did and said everything that he could to show her he couldn’t care less if she left, that, in fact, he couldn’t wait for the time she would. But right now, she was the one bringing up they would be over with each other, not him. Not once he pointed out this was the last time they would see each other. He almost thanked her for that because no one ever did something of the like for him. Thank her!

“You’re the one who’s saying this will be over after this. I didn’t say anything,” he argued back as she claimed she never did or said anything about getting rid of him. The fact she might have said that just for him did not come to his mind. She tried so hard to stick around him no matter how much he tried to get away that it seemed unbelievable she decided now that this was the last time. Unless she was one of those who made it all huge so that you are happy before they drop the bomb they no longer want you around. She couldn’t be like that, could she? If she wanted to leave, she didn’t have to make him believe she’d stay.

Sure, he told her to forget the damn debt and leave him alone but he didn’t mean to leave him alone for good. Just to stop bugging him when he didn’t feel like it. Especially since the debt was always involved somehow and he was tired to hear about it. “I don’t, I just...” Ok now, that was going nowhere and it was silly. She was even munching on her snacks with an angry face. It actually was amusing to look, or at least it would have been had the anger not been towards him. “If you want to dump someone, you just dump them, you don’t go offering them everything and they say you are done with them. I told you to leave me alone with your stupid debt, that’s the only reason why you stick around.” But she said he was her friend, so maybe not. No, she said that just because of the debt. Nothing else.

"Because it will, that was part of the deal. The deal that you wanted! The deal I made because you keep making it seem like you are tired of dealing with me!" Erin said, unable to help yelling now. Yelling was something that was weird for her when it came to yelling at a person without a screen being there. She yelled at plenty of people; for being stupid in a video game but for making her feel upset and frustrated with real life things, it was new. It was why after she yelled she got really quite and looked away from him and she tried to think of other things.

The urge to call up her father was there and she debated if she should just leave Quinn alone now and talk to her dad about how making friends was impossible. He was stuttering, but not saying anything which didn't help any matter. She was no mind reader; she didn't know what he was thinking or what he wanted to say. She could only go off of the things he had said before and how he acted which always pointed to him just barely tolerating her. She had tried, tried for months and it still seemed like he didn't like her. What was the point of thinking someone as a friend if they hated you?

"What? We are not going out? Why would I dump you? So wait...do you actually like me like that?" Erin asked, now super confused. She struggled for a moment to get out of her bean bag chair, but once she did she moved away and started to pace. Dealing with people was stressful, she felt like a panic attack was about to hit her as she tried to figure out what she had done wrong or what it was that Quinn wanted. Did he want her around? Did he want her to leave? Did he want to date her? What did he want? "No it's not. It's part of why I try so hard, but not why I stick around. I thought we were friends or something...but clearly that was one sides." Erin said as she crossed her arms over her chest and gave Quinn her back as she tried to work this all out.

People were so stupid, this didn't make any sense. Where was a computer when she needed one to distract her or have a way to look up what Quinn possibly wanted from her?

What promised to be a cool afternoon watching a movie quickly took a sour turn. Of course, Erin claimed it was his fault if all this happened and just as naturally, Quinn was blaming her. “I never said anything about being tired of you I said I was tired of hearing talk of your stupid debt,” he replied on the same almost yelling tone. Yes, he finally agreed for the movie so they’d clear this debt. It was what he wanted her to stop bringing up anytime the two met. She might have thought it meant he wanted to be done with her but in his mind, Quinn never said he wanted her to leave him alone. And if he did tell her that, he really meant to leave him alone with that debt. He told her since the very beginning that she didn’t have to and even took the camera as payment without wanting anything else. She was the one who used it as an excuse to keep bugging him. If that really was the only reason why she was with him, then yes, he wanted her out of his life. If there was another reason for her to stick around, she should have said it.

“I told you I am not thinking of you like that,” he argued as she once again suggested he might like her. “You can dump a friend too, if you think they’re dead weight. I meant getting rid of.” Was he so hard to understand? He thought it was pretty clear. Maybe he should have texted it to her, with emoticons and that strange way she had to write messages. Maybe then she would have understood.

Quinn did not realise the state she was in. To him, she was just upset and trying to vent. He did not realise she was borderline panicking there. “Then what is it? Because every time you come over, it’s just to ask me if I’ve thought what I wanted you to do to repay your debt. Looks to me that’s all you want.” He blinked when she said she thought they were friends. Was she trying to get him on a guilt trip? It might actually work.

Erin didn't look at or say anything to Quinn when he pointed out that he was not tired of her but the life debt that she owed him. Well, she was tired of it too. It sucked owing someone your life and feeling like no matter what you did it was never good enough. That was what she felt like every time she did something for Quinn and he was like this with her. If only she understood that it was just the fact that he wanted her to be around him by choice and not because of a debt.

If only Quinn understood that she was still choosing to be around him instead of jut paying him off what she was worth; because yes she was worth something. Her farther would argue that there was no limit to how much he would pay for his daughter but based on statics she had money worth, everyone did. "Then what do you think of me as? Clearly not a friend because of how you act towards me when all I do is trying and be your friend." Erin responded back, most of the words muttered under her breath as she was quickly losing her bold nature. It was hard to stay tough when you were starting to feel emotional.

If this was what friendship was like, it sucked. This was why she wanted to stay to herself, just have those computer friends were it didn't matter too much if things worked out with them or not because there were tons more out there to replace them and it was not like you had to see them in real life, ever. "Why would I do that? I like you other than how you treat me from time to time. I would not stick around trying different things to make you smile. I would have just paid you money and been done with it by this point if I didn't want to be around you." Erin pointed out, taking a deep breath.

She wanted to go home, to be with her dad or well anywhere besides here at the moment. Erin shook her head, messing with the buttons on her clothing, and fiddling with her clothing in general as she tried to keep herself from going into a full blown panic attack. "Well it’s not! I want to be your friend...you were my first friend here...you save my life...you...you have to have something kind inside you to do that...and it shows from time to time when you are with you camera taking pictures. I wanted to see that without the camera. Towards...me, for once." Erin said, struggling to say it all as she rubbed at her face as she could fear her eyes grow wet.

She just wanted him to act like he was happy to have her around and that they were friends, at least once. She was trying so hard to do this whole friend thing and since Quinn was the first she really wanted it to work out with him. Yet, it was so hard.

This girl was a walking headache. Every time Quinn would say he wanted to be rid of her debt she’d say it was precisely why she wanted to pay him back. She didn’t seem to get she paid him back enough already. He did not mean to insult her life. If she wanted to think she was worth millions, it was her idea, he merely said she didn't have to pay him that much to be even. A simple thank you would have been enough. A simple thank you would also mean the end of this weird relationship they seemed to be having. He couldn’t understand it, really. He lived it but he could not understand it.

Quinn was offended by the way she assumed things out of him. Sure, he acted in a way that did not make it look like he considered her a friend but he still didn’t like to have her claim things on his behalf without him having a say in the matter. “You don’t know me. Just because you used your skills to hack into my computer, doesn’t mean you know who I am.” He knew he was not answering her question though, or helping his case. She was winning this argument, in some weird way. “How is what you’re doing being my friend? You come after me, you plan things and you offer me gifts, yeah, but then you always say it’s about your life debt. How am I supposed to know what you’re doing to be my friend and what you’re doing to pay me back?” Although, to be quite honest, Quinn didn’t really understand why she’d want to be his friend.

Erin, somehow, seemed to think he was friend material. Who would have thought? Even when she said she liked him and thought he was worth the effort. He didn't see why. Everyone just leave. It was the rule. He started to get it now. Why did she have to try and break the rule? And just in case Quinn had not started to feel some guilt, she had to go about him being her first friend here.

The whole time, the movie had been running. They missed it. And Quinn was not paying much more attention now either. She managed to make him feel bad. He could tell her he was sorry. He could explain he never really had any real, close friends, not in a long time. He could say he had trust issue and was just really annoyed she seemed to stick around not for him but for a debt. There were a lot of things he could say. Instead, he grabbed a twizzler, held both ends of it, and presented it to her, as some sort of peace offering. A ridiculously small peace offering. That she paid. Well, he assumed she paid it. Not that he would really care if she had stolen it though.

"I know I don't like know know you! I'm trying dammit!" Erin snapped at him. Yeah, she had skills and looked up a whole bunch of information on him but that didn't mean she knew him as like the kind of person he was. She just knew him in terms of his past and things he had gone through based on the information she found on him. So in a way she knew him as the being but not as in the personality that he had, but she thought she had done a damn good job at figuring some of those things out by her bothering and looking into his past.

"You should just know! I don't know how to make friends, I just figure you give them things until they like you and just keep doing that so they stay liking you! I don't know how to do it any other way; I never had actual friends in person before!" Erin said, still yelling it all out. She was shaking now, breathing heavily as she was not used to this. It took a lot to be so bold and yell at someone when there was no screen there between her and the other person. Yet, she could not stop herself from feeling upset and just yelling it all out at Quinn; even if she was not facing him.

Part of it made her feel better but another part of her felt sick and tired of doing this whole friend thing when it seemed like no matter what she did it didn't work to make everyone that she was trying to be friends with happy. Erin didn't even care about the movie at this point, she just wanted out of here. However; she just felt so out of it that moving didn't seem like a good idea, so she sat down on her beanbag chair. Trying to calm herself down as her body started to flicker a little, which brought about the small headache that came from her body flickering in and out of sight of those around her.

The sound of one of the bags movie caught her attention; because she liked her snacks and wanted to know what was up. Hopefully Quinn was not planning on throwing them at her or destroying the whole little set up. She was surprised that he was actually offering her one, which caused her to hesitate for a moment as she started at him. "Th-thanks..." Erin muttered out after a moment or two, reaching to take the candy and started to eat it as she remained in the beanbag chair, looking at the floor and still calming herself down. She rubbed at her eyes, not wanting him to see that she had worked herself up to the point of crying.

They were fighting because she wanted to know him and be his friend. Who fought about this? Apparently, they did. She managed to get in his computer. He never told her he loved photography, she found that on her own. Who knows what else she found out? She never said anything about what she discovered so either she didn't dig too deep (he doubted that) or she didn’t care. It was weird to Quinn, that someone didn’t care. At first, kids were cruel because their parents had something against his father. Then he showed up in a new school in the middle of the year, never a smart move if you want to just blend in. And then he became the kid whose mother killed herself. And lived with his aunt like some extra baggage one had to carry around. He never felt like he fitted in, he took people’s concern for him for pity and that made him hate them even more for that.

He didn't get Erin. He decided that the only reason she was with him was because of her debt. Now, she said it was not the case. What could seriously make her think he was good friend material? Because he saved her? Quinn might not like people, he was not wishing them all to be dead. “How am I supposed to know that, you think I’m any better?” He argued back. No, really, how could she expect him to think she didn’t know how to make friends? That girl could be ten times more popular than he would ever be and that even if she spent the rest of her life locked in her room talking to the world through her computer.

Quinn frowned though as her breath became difficult. She was not going to start having asthma on him, no? Guilt took him again and since Quinn didn't know how to work with that or how to make this feeling go away, he just looked at Erin wondering how he could make it stop without actually doing anything. He didn’t want to talk and didn't feel like touching her or anything to calm her. He wanted to go back to the movie, pretend that didn't happen. But it was hard when she was not even looking at the movie. Offering her something was the only thing he thought he could actually do. It was weird and he thought it was also ridiculously small in comparison to what just happened, but it was all he could do. He noticed her rubbing her eyes. Oh no. He didn't really make her cry, did he? Of course, there would be no tissue here. Why would she bring tissue here? Maybe there was a napkin or something he could give her. He looked around but all he saw was snacks. He left the room. It took some time because the basement didn’t exactly have tissue either. He actually had to climb up to a bathroom and take some toilet paper, the closest he found to facial tissue without having to go too far, before going back to the basement. He said nothing but he dropped the toilet paper he grabbed on her so she could wipe her eyes with it.
