Oliver remained silent during Gemma's speech, smiling slightly as he felt her hand on his own. It was a good thing she was aware over the fact that all of this would take time. Even so, Oliver was worried. Of course he was. Gemma was practically family. She and Sarah was the closest things he had, and he would stop at nothing to ensure their safety, but he also trusted them with everything he had, so if Gemma claimed that she'd be fine, he believed her. If she said she'd find a way, she would. He trusted her.
"Alright," he replied, nodding as he stretched his arms above his head. "Enough about this though," he added. He saw no further reason in discussing it. She had already made up her mind, and there was nothing he could say to change it. All he could do was help her as best as he could and hope that everything would be okay.
"Are you spending the night?" he asked. It wasn't the first time she or Sarah had slept in the same bed - they'd even done it the whole trio together. There was nothing about that that was awkward. There was actually a lot of normalcy to be found with it. And it was nice, having someone there.

Once she was done, Oliver remaining silent throughout her attempt to reassure him, he gave an admission of simple acceptance; She knew he was still uncertain, still concerned for her... But knowing despite that he trusted her choice enough to help her and support her regardless, filled her with confidence; But that was Oliver... He had more of a heart then he cared to believe. He then dismissed the topic, and with a nod Gemma agreed. There was no need to discuss it further tonight, especially as so far all they had was hearsay and rumor. Everything would be okay in the end... She was certain. They just needed to tread carefully.
As he enquired if she intended to stay for the entire night, Gemma pursed her lips and looked out towards the door. She thought on tip toeing her way back to her dorm, and into her bed alone... She smiled brightly. It was an easy choice to make; She'd always slept far sounder with Oliver or Sarah, and on occasion the both of them. It was comforting... The notion of it being odd or awkward and never come into her thinking. She looked to Oliver, and leaned her head down to rest it gently on his shoulder, pouting a little. "... Please?" She spoke softly, giving him what could only be described as puppy dog eyes, bright and blinking.

Shaking his head, Oliver laughed at the adorable display his friend put on. Shrugging his shoulders, he smiled down at her. "Who am I to say no?" After all, it wasn't as if he minded. Having Gemma or Sarah spend the night made things a little less lonely, and there was so much comfortableness there, nothing about it was awkward. Swiftly, Oliver moved his arm under her knees, supporting her back with his other. He then quickly lifted the girl up in his arms and peered down at her.
A mischievous smile formed on his lips before he turned towards the bed and tossed the tiny blonde into it. Plumping down onto her, he made sure to make himself as heavy as he could. "Ah, yes, I could definitely grow used to this. Much more comfortable than that old mattress," he mused. He waited a few more seconds before rolling off the girl and placing his feet onto the ground.
Stretching his arms, he stifled a yawn. "Alright, I'm gonna grab a quick shower." He reached for the remote and offered it to the girl. "Find somethin' good for us to watch, yeah?"

"Exactly," She replied proudly, grinning with a small sense of victory, even though she knew her friend enjoyed her company as much as she adored his. She then gasped as Oliver picked her up with little effort, blinking at him with wide eyes as she instinctively brought her arms up and wrapped them around the back of his neck. She pursed her lips at his playful smile, quirking a brow, about to speak when her dear friend tossed her onto the bed. "HEY!" She pouted, before giving a small yelp as Oliver laid himself on top of her with his full weight. She couldn't help but laugh, her bell like giggle coming as she tried to push the boy off of her, breathing out exasperatedly when she struggled to do so, ruffling the blonde locks that had fallen over her face. "I may have chest cushions but I'm not a mattress!" She then narrowed her eyes, before she grinned mischievously and reached her arms round him to ruffle his hair vigorously in an effort to make it as messy as possible. She then sat up once he rolled off of her, giving him a mocking glare and a grin, folding her arms and looking quite proud of her hairdressing skills. He looked adorable... But then he always did.
As Oliver commented he was going to have a shower, Gemma brushed her hair from her face and gave him a nod, her curls bouncing on her shoulders, and a bright smile. "You got it, trashy TV comin' right up," She joked, taking the remote before saluting the boy with her other hand. She couldn't help but adore every moment she spent with him like this... She could just forget all the stresses of her life, not that there was many in her eyes, and just be herself with someone she truly cared for. She pressed the button to bring the TV into life, before tossing the boy a wink. "Make sure to sort your hair out, it's a right fluffy mess."

Chuckling softly, Oliver's head shook. "Oh yeah? Is that your way of tellin' me to hug your breasts instead? Very obvious move there, Miss Dove," he grinned. His grin widened when she felt Gemma starting to ruffle his hair, and thankfully, unlike so many other guys, Oliver didn't mind his hair getting messed up one bit. When he'd taken a seat, his eyes moved upwards as he lifted his hand in an attempt to smooth his now messy hair. "Don't look so smug, Gem. It doesn't suit you."
Pushing himself up, Oliver chuckled. "Yeah, yeah, you got it, mom," he tossed at her before walking over to his wardrobe. Opening one of the drawers, he pulled out a new change of clothing. As he rose to his feet again, he tugged at the rim of his shirt and quickly pulled his shirt off. It was nice, feeling so comfortable around someone you didn't have to worry about feeling shy.
Besides, it wasn't as if Gemma hadn't already seen him stroll around either naked or half naked.
With that, Oliver walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind him. He didn't dare linger under the warm, welcoming water for too long, now that he had a guest over, so he quickly sorted himself out before he stepped out of the shower and into the damp bathroom. Reaching for a towel, he quickly rubbed it against his hair before drying himself up. Pulling on a pair of boxers and sweatpants, he moved towards the bedroom again and made a beeline for the bed. "So, what did ya pick?"

Gemma knew Oliver didn't mind his hair ruffled, but he did so look cute when it was a little roughed up. She rose her brows at his smug comments, her mischievous grin remaining on her lips. She then stuck her tongue out at him when he called her mom, before smiling again as she brought her knees to her chest, resting her arms on top of her knees followed by her chin on her arms; She then began to flick through the channels, gazing at the screen. "Hey I didn't know you got this many channels, did you upgrade?" She spoke, looking over towards the boy; She found her sentence trailing off slightly as she blinked over at him, shirtless, with his back to her looking through his drawers. Gemma had seen Oliver nude, partly nude, and shirtless on more then one occasion... And frankly, he'd seen her wearing very little on just as many if not more times. she wasn't the slightest bit shy around him... And he also shared that view. Still... She couldn't help but think how most girls would be blushing intently at this point, with a sight like that.
She smiled and shook her head a moment as Oliver left to head into the bathroom, turning her attention back to the TV. She flicked through a number of late night shows, sighing as none of them appeared particularly interesting; She then paused on one channel, raising her head up from her arms and tilting it slightly to one side; She knew this film- DRIVE. It was about halfway through but she found herself slowly placing the remote back down and her chin back on her forearms as she watched intently. The film was about a man, The Driver, who was a stunt car driver who moonlighted as a get away man for criminals. She remembered watching it some time ago...
"... A moooovie," She replied brightly in an almost sing songy voice when her friend emerged from the shower, her eyes remaining focused on the screen. "It's called "Drive"." She then slowly leaned in closer to him, whispering out of the side of her lips, her eyeline still on the film. "It's about a guy who drives cars." She then looked to him and grinned, making it clear the obvious comment was intended to be a joke; She paused a moment, her gaze on her friend, his hair ruffled from the towel drying, his chest bare... He was handsome, but she'd always known that. "You are such a cutie, you know that, Mr.King?" She smiled brightly, reaching a hand up to try and smooth some of his hair back into place. "You're ganna break a lot of girls' hearts, cause they can't all have you."

"Uhm, yeah," he said, as he tossed the blonde a quick glance over his shoulder. "One of those techy kids ran around here a few days ago, claimin' she could upgrade this shit and give us better reception. Apparently it worked," he grinned. It hadn't really mattered, as Oliver didn't really watch all that much TV, but he supposed that it was usual, if the chance ever occurred that he'd need it. Such as now, for example. At least Gemma wouldn't grow bored while he was in the shower. Unless she couldn't find anything to watch, of course, which was usually a problem with having too many - or too few channels.
Feigning an expression of mock horror, Oliver's hand splayed out over his heart. "Drive, the movie about a man who drives. You have to be jokin'," he said, before returning the blonde's grin. Leaning onto his side, Oliver propped his head up against the palm of his hand. His eyes moved over to the TV, his brows bouncing slightly in amusement at the words his friend offered him. "Oh yeah?" he grinned, shifting his gaze to look at her. "I don't think guys particularly enjoy being called cute, you know," he chuckled. He on the other hand, was used to it. It seemed to be the common thing girls opted to call him.
He didn't make a move to move even away as her hand came out to smooth his shower ruffled hair. He shrugged slightly at her words. Even though he was still a seventeen year old boy, love, was the last thing on Oliver's mind. "But what if they can?" he grinned lasciviously, winking slightly in Gemma's direction. He was hardly the type who'd settle down with just one girl. It would take one hella woman to keep him entertained, seeing as how easily he got bored of people.
Thus far, he'd yet to meet anyone who could keep him interested both romantically and sexually.
