It was probably a good thing that Frank let Ellen have her little moment with the crow, at this point it was like trying to remove a dog’s favourite chew toy from it’s jaws. The moment you try, it’ll growl softly at you as if to say “Don’t try it” What could she say? She had grown quite attached to that crown…even if it wasn’t exactly hers.
Even though Ellen made it a point to try and avoid the events that happened last year at all costs, but from a combination of Frank’s natural charm –Not to mention the weird jedi mindtricks and a heavily spiked punch, she had more or less summoned “Drunk Ellen” that part of her that, was more then accepting of Frank Cox and had no problem with being her friend and having her own particular brand of “Fun”
She’ll be feeling this in the morning
Ellen wasn’t going to lie, And if she was sober she’d be able to bury certain feelings under her cold façade, but being stood up at prom, for the second year in a row was quite a sucky feeling, she was looking forward to actually having a nice prom night and he seemed like a nice guy…but that’s what Ellen gets for actually starting to fel certain feelings for someone now wasn’t it? Still it was something of a mood killer. But at Frank’s words Ellen couldn’t help but smile, already feeling better about the situation, glad that Frank was able to put her usual positive spin on things and yes, a hug did nicely to make her lift her mood, now she was nice and drunk she had little to no resistance to the hug so she had little choice but to like the warm embrace over take her. And yes. She let out a very un-Ellen like giggle and hugged her back just a little. “Aww. You always know just what to say Frank. You’re right too!” Ellen grin said her smile only got brighter
“Yeah. Fun. Let’s do the fun thing” Ellen said her words starting to slur as she stumbled off after her “Urg. I just want to get away from this place, Prom. Sucks. Oh! Let’s have another sleepover!”
