Karsen nodded and then shrugged "Mostly tech stuff, computers, robots...security system for people breaking into my room." He was still not over that whole Erin, thing he should probably let it go. "Though, at the moment I'm working on this car down at the garage, The owner is letting me keep it there while I rebuilt it. It's a classic mercedes." He said smiling, he was also saving up the money to buy it from the owner, considering it wasn't his yet. There was no need to mention that, it was of little consequence.
"Yeah, probably not but it's the only thing i'm really comfortable doing ya know? It's easier to just give in to my power than spending ninety percent of the time trying to keep it turned off." He didn't know if she understood so he was more than happy to change the subject. Interacting with people was still new to him even if he was getting better at it. It was still something that he needed to work on.
"I've been sort of using my room, I moved my bed around and everything. I'm just worried that ill go to the lab one day and then my work will be gone." Karsen's biggest fear was someone actually stealing something he worked so hard to make. That's why Tim was really the only one he told about his new projects...well besides Drew.

"That's pretty cool," Erika replied, smiling. She could admire people who had passion for things - regardless of what they were. She knew exactly what that kind of thing could do to you. After all, she shared the same passion, just with art. She could likely talk about it non-stop for hours if she was asked. Thankfully, she rarely were.
Nodding at his words, Erika could understand that. She'd been in the same position a year ago. She had constantly tried pushing her own ability away. It wasn't until she fully embraced it that she'd gotten better control over it. It no longer reached out to anyone or anything that was around her. "Yeah, I know what you mean," she spoke, head nodding again.
"Ah," she said, nodding again. She didn't think anyone actually would steal anything from the school or the students, but if the boy was paranoid, she wasn't going to push it. She heard the low murmur of the tow truck arriving and pushed herself up. She turned her head in the direction of the sound and waved her hand to signal to it. She turned her head to look at the boy. "Looks like my ride is here. It was nice meeting you, Karsen," she smiled. "Thank you for waiting with me." With that, Erika moved towards the slowing tow truck.
