Selina pulled back with a smile and nodded her agreement, "Yeah, the poor stable hand is probably getting lonesome without his friends to ah... keep him company," she added playfully. Selina watched him as he walked over to her horse and couldn't help the smile that crossed her features, "I feel like I should be the one helping you onto your horse," she offered with a light smile. There was no other reason for her saying that than the fact that she had actually done this before, but she didn't mind him offering.
Selina then made her way over to them and grinned, "I think you just can't get enough of me, is what it is," she teased before getting up the horse. "Thanks for the offer though." Part of her just felt awkward about accepting help from people in general. It wasn't that she was trying to be independent or rude or anything like it. Selina just had her ways of doing things, and sometimes she could bend them for the sake of being polite or kind or to fit in or whatever else, but she rarely did that unless she had to, and she didn't think Nico would be too offended by it.

Again Nico had to smile wryly. It felt odd, considering that he didn't exactly go around happy and skipping his way through life, especially not on this particular trip. That was the benefit of hanging out with people like Selina, and Nico fully intended to take complete advantage of it while it still remained there. The next bit had him shrugging. "Probably," he had to admit, knowing that his own scramble onto the horse would be undignified and likely humorous to some degree.
Another shrug came at her second accusation. Not like he could really argue the point. "No problem," he said as he walked back to his animal. Yeah, he pretty well expected her to turn him down. She just wasn't the type to accept help, period. Part of who she was. Nico didn't mind; pretty damn hard to hurt his feelings after all. He just walked over to his own horse, grabbed on, and somehow lurched his way onto the saddle. he scrambled awkwardly, getting his scattered limbs somehow pulled onto the animal. Once he got situated, he gave Selina a "don't start" look before reaching for the reins. This had definitely been a good idea, and Nico knew he'd have at least one decent memory from this whole freaking mess.
