Franck was different? He wouldn’t be surprised, although he doubted it had anything to do with him being French. That it was an empath probably affected him when it came to relationships, making him value feelings more than the raw pleasure of flesh against flesh. But with the amount of people getting sudden spikes of lust, you’d more think that Franck was thinking with his lower brain a lot. “Into sex? You’re not into sex?” He wasn’t sure if he followed her right. He thought that was precisely what she wanted although Franck could only agree and support her if she wanted something more. The full package, how could anyone settle for less? People were free to point how hypocritical this could be from him.

“Everyone, really?” It was true that he had a blog about homosexuality. And Frank sold him as the gay sex god. And the Dirty Laundry mentioned him around guys. Maybe everyone knew after all. “They might still think that I could end up falling for you. One night, we get drunk, end up in bed. I wake up the next morning and realise what happen and that I’m not as disgusted as I should...” Franck laughed at this. Not only this was a story more likely to come out of the brain of the other Frank but this was so unlikely to happen that it was laughable. “I think we better stick to best friends. There are no better best friends than us,” he said, this time slightly more serious, because this was a totally more serious thing to say than the possibility of them ending up madly in love for each other over an alcohol-fueled night.

“Yes, maybe, I suppose...” was all he replied about the otherworldly love story she was making up. “You ever asked him if he glittered?” Wouldn’t that be amusing to witness? And then Franck will have to assure the guy that not only she was serious about her question but that she wasn’t as crazy as it might appear.

He grabbed Frank to prevent her from leaning over the railing as she started to consider jumping off it. “Juice bar, remember? You want to jump in the water we can head to the pool after.”

"I am so into sex! People always seem, like surprised about that. Like a girl can't be into glitter and penis at the same time," Frank bobbed a few times, before making a semi-aggressive head bob. She might have gotten more into it but, well, this was Franck: he totally understood. Plus, she was busy giggling at his little scenario.

"That would so never happen," she said, giving him a smile. "Sure my girly parts are freaking magical. It's like a unicorn had sex with a leprechaun down there. But, like," She pointed at herself, "I can't get drunk, so, like, I wouldn't do that to you." Frank paused, "though I suppose people wouldn't know that..."

Her lips pursed for a moment. "People can be jerks sometimes," She concluded, nodding. She turned back to Franck. "Of course I asked about the glitter, but, like, he was being all secretive."

And there was rail grabbing and moving back and Frank let out a shout, jumping. "Right, juice!" She darted forward a few steps, stopped, put her hands together, turned until she was pointing another direction, and headed that way. "C'mon! We don't want them to run out of the good fruits!"

That’s what he thought too. He was so confused when he thought she claimed not to be into sex. “You can have all the glitter and penises you want,” he replied. It was a good thing that Franck was not blushing whenever someone mentioned private parts. Then again, when said like this, other than light shock for it being said so bluntly, what kind of reaction do you expect to see? And Franck was too used to his friend’s way of expressing herself to be really shocked of it.

The image of a unicorn having sex with a leprechaun might be a little more shocking but it remained mostly amusing. That described Frank more than it described her girly parts though. She looked like the lovechild of a unicorn and a leprechaun. It would explain a lot of things if she really was. “I forgot that,” he admitted on a low tone when she pointed out she couldn’t get drunk. “Well it’s nice that you won’t use it against me. I don’t handle alcohol too well. And we are too awesome as best friends to change it with awkward moments like sex after a boozy night,” he said. It would never happened, it was why Franck could take it so well.

He laughed as she admitted asking Jasper if he glittered. “I’ve never seen him turn into a disco ball before. But if you throw one of your glitter bomb at him...” There was a time when she used to love these. He doubted she grew out of them.

Another laugh escaped him when Frank was now totally motivated into going to the juice bar. “What are you planning to do when we’ll get to Mexico?” he asked when he finally managed to catch up with her.

"Aww, you say the sweetest things," Frank cooed, leaning over and giving Franck a peck on the cheek. It was totally a sweet gesture after all, one that she'd give to everyone. Plus, Franck had totally earned it, what with his being super awesome and sweet, like all the time. He even seemed to be rolling with her semi-graphic analogies, which Frank knew could sometimes stress some people out.

Frank nodded: "Yeah, that's the main downside of the whole mutant-metabolism thing," she admitted, shrugging. "not like you need alcohol to have a party, amiright?" If anything, Frank proved that almost too well. She grinned all the wider, slinging that arm around Franck to give him a companionable hug. The arm stayed while she sauntered forward (after he'd of course caught up with her so that this could all be done).

"Well, if you really want me to throw one at him..." Frank said, trailing off and giving Franck a look that indicated that she'd absolutely love the opportunity. She still owed the twins after what they'd done on break.

Oh, question! "Wellll," Frank gave a slightly abashed smile to Franck, "I'm actually planning on taking Ellen out and hitting the town. I'm thinking we can have a girls' say out: enjoy some Mexican shopping, buy a pinata and stuff." Frank nodded, then gave Franck another squeeze. "Don't worry: We'll totes hang out before then, and we can so make some time too. Unless you got plans with your vampy?" Frank bobbed her eyebrows suggestively at the reminding.

Sweetest things? Well, sure, Franck could say the sweetest things he just wasn’t sure glitter and penises could be referred as that. Unless it was the fact she could have them all? Franck had one, well to be precise you could say two, and that was enough. As for glitter... he’d rather leave it all to Frank indeed. In fact, should Frank get all the glitter and penises like he wished her to, he’d rather have her not tell him. You could tell pretty much everything to Franck. Except that. Sex was not something he was all that comfortable with. He knew he should get over it but he couldn’t. It was a private matter and should remain as such. Anyway, it was not like anyone should ask him for advice in that domain. Maybe he should tell Frank that though. She tended to think he was a sex god.

“No you don’t. Good company, I’d say it’s the most important. And then music,” he agreed with her. It was supposed to be illegal for them to drink in America but, let’s be honest, who never had a little sip before the right age? He was not talking of buying a pack of beer every week, just tasting the stuff. Well, as students living in school, most mustn’t have tried but Franck lived with his father. It was easier for him to have a glass of wine. His father was not even hiding his bottles, since he knew his son was not downing them in his absence.

Franck stared at his friend as she hinted she could throw a glitter bomb at Jasper any time he wanted. He then realised what he might have just caused. “Thanks, but I’m not sure he’ll like it. Or have me around, so I can hold him before he goes after you.” On many aspects, Jasper was too bold and needed to think before acting. He let his feelings take over as well, just not his love and compassion like it was the case with Franck but instead his lust, violence or dislike for someone. He didn’t want the two to go after each other and be stuck in the middle. He already felt like many of his friends might not approve of his choice of boyfriend.

“That’s great. I want to have a look around too. And try to find something nice for my dad,” he said. He did feel sorry for Ellen for being dragged like this but Franck didn’t like the girl enough to try and tell Frank it was not a good idea. In fact, Ellen needed that. It was high time she learned to stop thinking herself so superior to everyone and have a bit of fun with the rest of them. People would like her more if she could. He shook his head at her question. “I haven’t planned anything yet with Jasper. I’m leaving him with his brother a little. And I was thinking of making him go after me if he ever wants some time with me. It’s not like he doesn’t know where I am.” Franck chose to ignore her brow movement. It sounded like a plan. Even when it was Jasper who planned a date, it was often Franck who lost control and jumped on him, since the boy was just waiting for him to react like this. It was time for Jasper to do that too.

Frank rolled along with the first parts of the conversation, definitely agreeing with Franck (as she generally did). Then she was giggling and shrugging, willing enough to take the hint that not everyone appreciated her glitter bombs as much as she did. "It's a dying art," she said aloud, which only just barely made sense in context. Then again, considering that Frank said nearly everything that crossed across her rather bent mind, well, Franck should be used to that sort of thing by now.

Frank soon ended up humming, even as Franck continued. Her head bobbed. "That's totes cool! You should pick him up some tequila!" she had to say it like the infamous song, before leaning back and shooting a few finger guns into the air. Frank lurched forward after that, again humming, this time to said infamous music number.

The humming pulled to a stop a few moments later, replaced by a nudge. "You go girlfriend!" Frank had to say. "Make him work for that booty! Guy's gotta show that he wants some of that too. And if he doesn't, lemme know. 'cuz that glitter bomb thing," she held up her fingers, pointing them at Franck, "that's a promise." Frank nodded, extending the hand slightly, nodding a few more times before practically spinning away, once more humming the infamous tequila song as she skipped ever closer to the juice bar.

Frank seemed to be listening but it was actually hard to tell sometimes as she often ended up not remembering what you just said when you were certain she was paying attention and then you realised she caught everything when you thought she was interested elsewhere. She happened to be nodding where it was relevant for her to nod so maybe she actually listened to what he said. Still, he would not trust her to explain to someone else what they were talking about. She was more likely to mention only the vampire and the glittery splooge part. The one he was hoping would never be mentioned again.

“The only one I’ve seen elevating it to the level of art is you,” he shared with her. Everyone else, Franck would only deem as nasty pranksters but he wasn’t really sure if that term could fit his friend. It was never done out of mischief, not the kind where you actually end up laughing at the victim in a ‘in your face bitch’ way. Often, she seemed to genuinely believe it was something the person wanted to cheer up. He never understood why people thought he was an expert in Frank psychology, he did not understand her most of the time and simply went along with her. Saved him from a lot of headaches.

“I’m not sure they’ll let me bring it back home,” he pointed out. Buying it in Mexico would surely prove to be easy, but he didn’t think they would let him take it back with him once they returned to the States. He raised an eyebrow at the finger gun movements she offered him but chose only to chuckle at this. “I’ll figure something out. It’s not like he really expects anything so he’ll be happy anyway.” He would still work on picking something nice because he had the unfortunate luck of knowing when someone did not like a gift, no matter how much they tried to say otherwise.

It was a good thing Franck was not drinking at this moment or he would have choked on being called girlfriend. Instead, he laughed once the surprise was gone. “Thanks for letting me know. What about you? You’re already planning a little fun too or you have something else in mind?”

"Well, it's an artform," Frank replied, folding her arms and nodding. "Not my fault if everyone else doesn't see that." There were a few more self-satisfied nods before Frank ended up giggling again. She did thoroughly enjoy her pranking, and she definitely had the whole "everyone wins" philosophy. She'd had that even before she'd watched the MLP episode that had essentially demanded that pranks be done in precisely that way.

The conversation had moved on from pranks to tequila, and Frank again bobbed her head. "Well, you just gotta know who to pay and get things approved. i thiiiiink you can fill out some forms and process them at customs?" Frank's brow furrowed as she thought. "I usually have people do that for me... which totally sounds like a rich girl thing, doesn't it?"

Frank gave Franck a shrug and a slight smile. Every once in a while she did run into something that was, well, a rich girl thing. The girl had been raised stupidly wealthy from the beginning of her life and that didn't go away just because she didn't usually care or really address it.

They'd nearly hit the juice bar and Frank was now draping her arm around her friend once more to guide him toward it. "I'm always fun!" she pointed out, poking him. "and like I said: I'm a hang out with Ellen. I wanna find an authentic Mexican pinata and we'll probly get into all sorts of fun adventures," Frank sighed then nodded. "I already have an authentic Mexican sombero, but I'll probably buy some candy and stuff too," Frank tapped her head and tilted it to the side. 'I dunno: I might check out the town too? I kinda just do things," she tilted her head to look up at her friend, 'but you knooooow that!" she cooed before essentially pushing him into a juice barstool.

“I’ll give you that you must be skilled to make them and get the right amount of glitter to have the affect you want,” he told her. More, he preferred not to speak. Because it was not exactly an art, unless there was such a thing as the art of pranking. Then she would certainly be a master in it. Or the art of being random. Then she was not only a master, she was the undisputed queen.

Actually, it sounded more like a bootlegger thing but Franck would not say it. There was something surprising in the fact she knew how to smuggle stuff but, at the same time, she already showed him that she could or at least knew who could do it for her. “Thanks, but I think I’ll take something I won’t risk trouble for if they find out,” he told her, a smile and everything to show how he was indeed thankful even though he was not really. He couldn’t smuggle anything anyway. He would be too nervous. They would know. It was best for everyone he went for something he could have in his things without them confiscating it.

“Sounds like fun. You’ll have to tell me what happened once we’re back,” he told her as he looked at her. She was holding onto his arm but he didn’t mind. What he got from her was so positive he actually enjoyed it. It was not like his friend was a soppy sod. “You just want to explore and see from there? That’s a nice plan too.” And it would be the death of Ellen. He felt bad for actually liking the despair the young woman would go through. She was trying to make herself so superior to anybody, it would serve her right. And perhaps it would help her too, although he had high doubts. He laughed as she was done. “Sure I do. And now, what juice will you be having?” he asked her as they finally arrived.

"Your loss," Frank replied with a slight shrug, "though I dunno, I guess pinatas are probably more fun," Frank's head bobbed from side to side while she tried to think her way through that. Eventually she nodded, fully convinced that, yes, pinatas were most definitely the most fun option that someone could end up taking, especially given all the smuggling.

Now: onto the fun. "Oh, it's gonna be so much fun!" Frank agreed, clapping her hands. "I'm gonna end up having adventures! Haven't you always seen it? Whenever we go somewhere else cool stuff happens. It's like a TV show," Frank's eyes widened for a moment and she grinned wide before giving a few more hops. The hops essentially took her to the juice bar, where she practically spun into a stool and almost immediately ordered two "Suicide cocktails, please!" Without even the slightest hesitation.

"That's all the juices together," she told Franck in a whisper. 'You gotta start with that and work your way down," She held her hand up high, palm facing down, and then took it down a few feet, nodding sagely all the while.

He had a soft chuckle as she suggested a piñata. If the gift was for Frank, it would have been his first choice, of course. Few things screamed his friend’s name more than that. But it was for his father and a ceramic piece or something actually useful for the man was a much better option here. Franck was not going to point that out however. “I’ll think about it,” he simply said. Although his decision concerning piñatas was already made.

He laughed again as she seemed so excited about possible adventures. Despite what she said, he did not really notice how they always had adventures every time they went somewhere. Then he thought about it, last year’s camping trip and the holiday vacations skiing and realised that they indeed had some adventures. Although Frank was not that aware of his and this made him blush slightly. He had to cover it up however. He didn't want her to see. “That’s true. Then I wish you the best of adventures,” he said. If he had a drink in his hands right now, he would have raised his glass to drink to that but he had none yet.

Frank worked on taking care of that as she ordered for them. He flinched at the name of the cocktails. Not exactly the most tasteful of choices but Frank explained what it was and he just nodded, taking it in yet still finding it a bad choice of name. “Is Ellen really that good of a sidekick for an adventure? I don’t know her very well but I never thought that of her,” he admitted. Especially the sidekick part. That girl accepted nothing else but the lead role.

Frank was already getting the juices together and pulling hers toward her. She waved a card over at the young girl working the counter, one that seemed to work to pay for their drinks in some form or fashion. They certainly had tall cold drinks in hand and there didn't seem to be any difficulties in getting them.

"The best!" Frank agreed, raising her hands. The glasses appeared at just that time, so Frank grabbed and: "The best!"

And she took a deep shot of it, setting it down at the counter. "Well, okay, like, technically Ellen's not nearly as much fun as, like, you or Erika or Liz or Beau or your sexy vampire or pretty well everyone else, but she needs to be pushed out to have adventures. She's the one that would never do that sort of thing if someone wasn't dragging her along. And she's not really a sidekick, more like an unwilling partner."

Frank pursed her lips, "Did that explain it all...? I feel like I got it.." she scrunched her face and nodded her head a bit, trying to knock out any few remaining loose thoughts. It seemed like it was pretty accurate to her and Ellen's relationship, which was always kind of hard to describe to people outside of it, even people like Franck.

Normally, Franck tried to pay for his things but he knew how pointless it was with Frank. She was likely to remind him she was the one who was worth millions or something and that she could buy the whole ship if she wanted. Said by someone else, it would sound terribly snobbish but he knew Frank did not mean it that way. She just didn’t see why not pay for her friends. And Franck didn’t feel like having this discussion so he let her order their drinks and pay for them.

As she reiterated this would be the best of adventures, they got their glasses so Franck picked it up and raised it for the toast he assumed she intended to do. While she nearly emptied her drink, Franck merely took a sip, to taste the juice she just got him. He knew there was no alcohol and so no reason to sip it slowly so he wouldn’t get drunk too fast but he still did it like that. He stared at Frank as she put the glass down on the counter. “I was wondering... you ever taste the things you swallow?” She was eating so quickly, he couldn’t see how she could savour the food. Or, in this case, the drink. But hey, she could down it the way she wanted.

He was not surprised to hear Ellen was not really consenting to this adventure Frank was dragging her in. But he believed like her, the girl needed to have some fun. “She does seem to have a...” No, that was an expression Franck couldn’t use. “She doesn’t have your sunny disposition.” There. Much better. He found it sweet that she wanted to show Ellen she could have fun. And very Frank-like. “She needs it. I hope you two will have fun.”

Frank spun her glass slightly with her fingers, somehow not managing to really spill out any of the liquid contained therein, despite the cup's moving rather quickly. She looked over at Franck as he asked his question, her head bobbing slightly. "Yeah, totally," she said. "I end up tasting a lot of the stuff. Actually, like, I can taste better than a lot of people, 'cuz I've had so much, like," she stopped the cup and held it up, 'I know what this tastes like, so I can use that to, like, say other stuff tastes like this and junk," Frank nodded, then stared at the cup. Her tongue snaked out to wet her lips while her eyes remained directed straight at the liquid, her intent fairly obvious.

That didn't stop her from catching what Franck said next (little did; Frank did seem to have a knack for following conversations even when apparently utterly distracted). "She totally does!" Frank said, looking away. "that's, like, what I keep saying! And if I don't be all friends with her and junk then no one will and she'll never learn the magic of friendship and she'll remain like," Frank gestured with her other hand, "Ellen forever.'

Frank paused to take a drink of her juice before pausing. "Not that I don't want her to be Ellen, because that's her and junk. I just don't want her to be all," Frank jerked back and opened her eyes and made a face that really didn't explain anything. "Y'know?"

Her explanation was very hard to follow and Franck was pretty sure he didn’t get it. He preferred to simplify it by giving himself his own answer. “You’ve got better taste buds or something like that?” In the end, why not? Although, considering what she could ingest sometimes, he’d prefer not be able to taste things so well. Unless she was able to tell each ingredient used or something. Then she would be a bit like that creepy guy in The Perfume, only with her taste buds rather than her nose.

On this, Franck could actually agree. If Ellen didn’t have someone to prove her someone could want to be with her without any further motive than the pleasure of her company, she would never learn what it was like to have friends and be liked. He couldn’t even say she was respected. More like they chose to keep their distance by fear of being hexed or something. No one wanted to anger the Ellen. “I get that. I tried that once but she never liked me. I think it must be related to my power or something. Or the fact I’m just too different from her,” Franck said, shrugging as he was not certain why she disliked him so much. She did the minute she laid eyes on him, before even knowing he was an empath. She just had something against him and it started with Erika but saying she might have been jealous of Erika’s attention was not something he would admit. She might start thinking he was trying to humiliate her or something and that was not the case.

“I get it,” he assured with a nod. “It wouldn’t hurt if she could see the world’s not all about who hits the hardest first.” That seemed to be her methods or at least the one he dealt with. He drank some of his juice, letting a silence come between them before he would change the subject. Ellen was one of the few people he didn’t like too much and since that was odd for him, he’d rather not talk about her. “Are you starting to think what you’ll do after high school?” He already had a plan but plans and Frank didn’t seem to get along. Unless it was to plan a party, a trick or an adventure.
