For the short period of time before foods he was slightly unhappy that he was left confused. The friend thing was cool and he was super happy bout that. But the hand thing was still odd. Again he couldn't read minds so unless she was willing to share...
GOOEY!
Yeah, this girl was pretty awesome. Luckily for him he had a bigger mouth than Frank, and he'd eaten part of it already. So his bite went easier into his mouth. He chuckled as she dealt with the cream nodding enthusiastically about it being nummy. Swallowing before talking he followed his mother's rules of talking with one's mouth full.
"It's awesome! Delicious! Nummy!" One second he was smiling and licking off his fingers the next his mind kind of stopped working. He wasn't intelligent but he was a guy. He knew sexual innuendo when he heard it. "I've never tried that kind of long thing with creme, but I like this kind!"
Joey took a drink of his cocoa as he was reaching for a different pastry. But yanked his arm back as she lunged for a similar treat. Laughing he reached to swipe some of the sugary sweetness of her face with his thumb.

"So awesome!" Frank agreed. She kicked her feet under the table, drumming them against the floor in pure, unadulterated glee. Because truly, what could be better than eating a delicious treat with a brand new friend? Who also apparently got the whole sexual innuendo thing that Frank still wasn't sure she'd done on purpose.
Frank let out a giggle as he lunged for a similar treat. Then she giggled all the more when he wiped at her face. "C'mon, you can't do that!" Frank said, waving a hand. She brought it up to the side of her mouth, leaning forward conspiratorially: "People will totes think we're a thing, and you don't want that," she closed her eyes and shook her head somberly.
Then, in the next moment, Frank dove down, grabbed a pair of pastries, and practically tossed one at Joey. "Doesn't mean we can eat all the foods! Get your taste buds ready for a trip to flavor town!"

He wasn't that big of a giggler considering well he was a man and men didn't giggle. Or so he'd been told. But what came out of his mouth was very akin to a giggle, but he called it a gleeful short laugh. It sounded much more manly than giggle. If her spirit and giggling wasn't so contagious- oh please the truth of it he was glad to be around someone as energetic as him.
Stopping before touching her face he hadn't even noticed what he'd been doing. He just thought to get some off and stick the gooey yumminess in his mouth. Joey stared at her in shock his jaw dropping a bit. "Sorry." The point in the fact was he didn't understand boundaries all the time this being an example. "But why not?" Not that he wanted people to think they were a thing he just didn't know why she thought it was a bad idea.
A loud laugh erupted from him at her next move and he grabbed at what looked a lot like a sticky bun and an eclair. "Flavor town! I'm driving the bus to it!" A sweet treat in each hand he acted as though he were driving with them before taking a bite out of each. After swallowing he grinned with a very messy mouth. "Best idea ever."

Frank paused for a moment, her lips pursed together. "Well.... I dunno," she admitted. She raised a hand, pointing a finger at him. "You, sir, have a very good point," she nodded once, returning back to grabbing the pastries and getting them arranged for that trip to flavor town.
"YES, A BUS!" Frank yelled, bouncing up and down in her seat a few times. She paused, leaning forward, eyes wide, as Joey crammed the sweet bun and the eclair into his mouth. she waited till he let out a "Best idea ever." "Is it? I'm gonna do..." she readied her chocolate cream thing, pointed a finger around the table, and then grabbed something that looked to be a maple cake.
"All aboard!" Frank yelled before shoving both into her mouth. She seemed to almost dislodge her jaw to get them both in, and bits of cake and creme sort of drizzled out of her mouth, falling onto the table and sort of around. "Oh. mah. Gawd," Frank said, kicking her feet under the table again."Definitely an awesome idea!"

"Far too much awesome in one body for a person not want others to think they're with that person." He wasn't entirely sure if that statement made any sense to anyone but him but it was still true. Did something have to make complete sense if it was still true?
Face alight of excitement and inner laughter he felt energy flooding him that had nothing to do with some special power. Just the energy of having a good time with good company. Loving her shared enthusiasm he bounced a little himself as he shoved the food into his mouth. Joey sat eyes closed for a moment enjoying the deliciousness that was flooding his taste buds.
At her yelling his eyes opened and quickly swallowed before busting out laughing. "YEAH!" Fist pumping into the air whatever was left of the eclair got squished in his fist. Bits of sugary sweetness tumbled around him from his fist but he ignored it watching her in awed amazement. "I know! It's frick-tastic!"
Hands dropping the treats they currently contained he hurriedly filled them with two different pastries to try a new combination. Something with caramel and something with sprinkles got shoved in, but he jerked with surprise as the sprinkle one squirted something raspberry flavored onto his tongue. He stopped eyes slowly blinking as he chewed then held out his hands to her each pastry in hand. "You gotta try this." Face serious as ever he held them out with an almost reverence.

Frank let out a whoop as Joey yelled. Eclair ended up showering down on to the table and around them, and a few people were giving them odd looks. But most of the employees knew better than to drive off the girl with the credit card with a limit high enough to literally buy the store and possibly most of the workers along with it. Besides, only a few of the more hipster-ish people were glaring.
"Totally!" Frank agreed. She was already gnoshing away at another, savoring the tastes and enjoying it with noises that might make a passerby think that Joey was doing naughty things to Frank under the table. She even slapped the table a few times. Because clearly this combining desserts thing had been the most awesome of ideas ever.
"Are you sure?" Frank said, as she swallowed and Joey held out a new treat. "I don't wanna, like, deprive you of anything," she gave him a serious look, but held out her hands. She gingerly took the two offered bits, raised them, and took a bite that consumed a large portion.
"Oooooh," she said through a mouthful of food. She raised a hand to push bits out even as her moving lips nearly tossed them out. "This is really good!" Frank reached for her drink, washing it down and smacking her lips noisily. "This was definitely a super awesome idea,' she said, looking around. She reached for another pair, this one cinnamon and some sort of orange thing. She raised them both, bit.

Her reactions were hilarious and so very awesome. Laughing while eating wasn't a great idea so he had to hold his breath for a bit. This helped him keep the food from choking him until the desire for laughter passed. Then he proceeded to chew and swallow the amazing sugar overload. He was going to go crazy later with all this sugar, but he didn't care at the moment. All he cared about was trying as many different combinations as possible.
As he held out the current bit of awesome he waited as she took it. "Nah, can't fill up on one combo. Gotta try them all." He probably wouldn't be able to try all of them since he was bound to get full sooner rather than later. For Joey did not have a super stomach like some people. Eyes filling with joyous light at her reaction he clapped his hands happily.
"Yeah, I so know." Nodding enthusiastically he looked the table over for his next combination. Some twisted thing covered in nuts, and something like a cannoli. Maybe it was a cannoli. He didn't know things like that for as much as he knew it was a fancy doughnut.
Just as he put the delectable pair in his mouth he froze when she froze. Slowly taking them out before he bit down he stared at her in fear. "Are you okay?"

Yes, definitely couldn't fill up on one combo. On that, Frank heartily agreed with Joey. That being said, she also happened to have a nearly bottomless stomach: she could probably have eaten her way through most of the food in front of her and only gotten a little sick. She might not have even gotten ill at all, had she taken a little bit of time between.
Though right now, she was still frozen. Mostly because she was trying to figure out how to properly react to what was happening in her mouth. She slowly drew it out, her tongue extended, still showing the mix. She turned and let out a sort of "leh" noise as she dumped the contents onto a napkin.
"That was... bad," she said, turning back to prod the combo, "like, super bad, like..." she looked up at Joey, smiling a little puckishly, "you should so try it bad!" Frank then grabbed both and lunged, obviously aiming for Joey's face, particularly his mouth.

As she slowly dumped the food out of her mouth he set down his new combo eyes wide. Not expecting her to say that it was bad kind of figuring she'd love any combo ever he stared at the two pastries. Orange and cinnamon couldn't be that bad together could they? There was like orange and cinnamon flavored teas weren't there? Or something? Right? He had no clue honestly.
Joey's attention was going to the menu to see if there was such a tea or coffee combination, when he noticed something out of the corner of his eye. He laughed loudly as she lunged for him and leaned back a bit out of reflex. Then he opened his mouth wide for her to shove new variation into his mouth.
Taking a bite which was much too big that bit sloppily fell out, he made a face akin to a frog's. He scrunched up his face and shook his head pounding the table a little. Determined to swallow it he fought to swallow the horrible yet oddly uplifting mixture. "BLEH! That was worse than eating dog food mixed with horse pellets!" Which he sadly knew what it tasted like when a seven year old him did whatever his big sister used to tell him to do.
"New combo! STAT!" Finger thrust into the air for emphasis he then took a large drink of now luke warm cocoa. Then returned to his previously fisted pastry duo to taste immediately.

Frank giggled at the comparison, adding a little snort and shaking her head. "How would you know what that tastes like? Or did you try that? I've totally tried some weird stuff before," Frank was already reaching for one of the treats she'd already had before: a chocolate muffin with chocolate chips inside, while she spoke, "but that's because of my power and stuff," she took a bite out of the muffin, not stopping, "so why would you know about that unless you totally tried it?"
Frank swallowed, then leaned forward: "You don't have special eating powers too, do you?" she asked, her voice low, her eyes darting around to look to make sure that they weren't getting eavesdropped on. Most people were giving them plenty of room, so there really wasn't any need for Frank to be concerned.
While still chewing at the muffin, Frank began pawing around, trying to find something to mix it with. Her hands were getting dangerously close to the cinnamon monstrosity that they'd just ate.

Frozen again with his combo in fists halfway to his mouth. The way this was going he was never going to figure out what it tasted like. Perhaps that was a good thing perhaps it tasted like the utterly disgusting thing they'd just eaten. Or it could be so epically awesome ballads would be written about it by seventies hair bands.
He lowered his mouth to answer but as she leaned forward it made him want to hear what she was about to say. So leaning forward as well hands still gripping hold of sticky pastries he listened in. Her question made him smile though and he leaned back shaking his head. "Nah, I can't do somethin' like that. I'm just an earth tosser."
Joey noticed the hands going toward the bad combo and he moved a raspberry tart closer to her hands. "My big sister told me to eat it once. So I did." Shrugging he took a large bite of the pasties in hand. It wasn't great tasting but it wasn't nearly as bad as the last one. But this was still a great idea because it was free and it was random and it was just well, awesome.

Just an earth tosser? It took Frank a few moments of intense concentration (so intense that she actually stopped talking and just chewed) to let her brain process that. "Ah, so you can, like, literally do stuff with rocks and junk?" she finally said, nodding, thoroughly pleased that she'd been able to figure that out. She shoved the muffin and whatever happened to be in her other hand into her mouth at the same time.
The chocolate and the cinnamon made her eyes water, but Frank simply worked on chewing and swallowing it quickly, the food disappearing down her throat with remarkable quickness. Frank finished swallowing and nodded. "Sounds like your sister's either really awesome or kind of mean," she reached for another. "So which is it? I always wondered what it would like to have a sister. I don't have any siblings. My parents, like, barely wanted to have me, and then they were all 'one's enough.'"
Frank snorted and then reached for two more pastries at random, though she at least brought them before her for study. It looked like some kind of fruit filled pastry and another cinnamon topped thing. Frank shifted the fruit until she got one that would match, then put in her mouth. She'd had enough dealing with bad flavors for now, thank you verrah much.

Food jammed full in his mouth he couldn't really verbally answer her so he just gave a nod. Her description fit what he did well including the junk part. Mostly because he didn't know a lot of fancy words to describe what he did. "It's really fun, but I don't got that good a control on it." Joey shrugged not looking all that put out about it just something he knew an accepted.
After another combo he looked down at his hands and all the variety mind boggled by all the possible combinations. Some looked like the just would not go well together, but one could be pleasantly surprised all the time. But with this many choices he didn't want to waste stomach space on something he was pretty sure it would be yucky. So the next combo he grabbed was a caramel twist with nuts and a chocolatey goodness. Just like a turtle treat!
"I think she's really awesome." Joey said a little unconvincingly after he swallowed again. Sipping his cocoa it had gone from lukewarm to slightly cold. "But...that's just me." Smiling brightly he moved on to another sweat treat pair that was bound to be yummy.
"They prolly thought one was enough because they knew they couldn't make a kid any more awesome than you." Eyes bright he held out a gooey, sweet delicious combo out for her to try.

Frank nodded. "That happens sometimes with powers," She said. "It kinda sucks, but that just means you gotta work a bit more at it. Then you can have this super cool story about how you worked super hard and went through all this epic training stuff and finally got your true abilities!" Frank gestured excitedly with her treat, which meant sending some frosting and icing and filling splattering all over. Frank followed by licking a few of the surfaces around her.
Frank kept nomming while Joey continued. More head bobbing came as he talked about his sister being awesome: "I'm sure she's super awesome then!" came encouragingly out of Frank's mouth around a fair amount of food. She swallowed, before reaching for another combo, not really looking as much at what she was actually putting into her mouth.
"Well, they're, like, sit com level rich," she explained, smooshing a pair of treats together. "We could totally buy an island if we wanted, though my people say that's a bad idea," Frank squeezed the treats till they were essentially fused together. "And they were like 'we should make sure that someone with the Cox family name gets the dough when we die.' And my dad wanted a boy, so..."
Frank shoved the food into her mouth, nodding. "They got me!" She spread her hands wide in a "ta da" gesture to indicate the full awesomeness of that deal.

Normally Joey was all sorts of full of the awesome energy and bombtastic enthusiasm. But when it came to his powers he pretty much chocked everything up to a lost cause. Rather than bring the convo down though he decided to just smile big and shove food into his mouth. Though when the spray of food hit him he couldn't help but laugh. Which sent more food particles flying about in a more disgusting matter.
"She really is. She's super smart. Well, to me anyway." Joey nodded looking about the table for treats, and decided to go all out and shove three different kinds in his mouth. The explosion of flavor almost made him fall off his chair. The amount of food almost made him choke. After a good amount of chewing he swallowed painfully and downed the rest of his cocoa. "Whoa, that was just. Whoa."
Hands out as if to steady himself he shook his head then smiled up at her. "What's sit com level rich?" As she then explained the level of extreme richness her family had at their hands his jaw dropped. Luckily it was at a prime time where he had no food in his mouth. "That's super rich." Blinking his eyes really slowly he shook his head again amazed at this amazing girl.
Joey clapped his hands for her 'ta da' and beamed excitedly. "Well then they got an upgrade! Girls are smarter than boys. Cleaner than boys. More responsible." After a sharp nod he plucked a chocolate chip off of a muffin. "Girls rule. Boys drool."
