Cassie had guessed from the fact that the girl had gone off on her daydream after making a somewhat raunchy comment that she was daydreaming about something that was most defiantly not PG rated. Still her comment “Not unless I let him" in response to Cassie telling the rat he could breath now had her raising her eyebrow at the girl slightly, clearly a little bit of BDSM going on in her daydream, not that Cassie judged but she hadn’t expected it from Frank... then again she was a hyperactive little bunny why wouldn’t she be kinky in the sack.
Cassie couldn’t help giggling as she watched the girl slowly come back to the here and now looking down at the rat trying to stick his nose out of one of the holes in the shoebox. Cassie lost track of the word vomit that came tumbling out of the girls mouth next. Not that what she was saying was rubbish or anything just that she was talking so fast that it was hard to keep up. She picked up something about why hadn’t she seen Cassie around, and Mor... something creature, changeling, and a super hot guy?
“Umm I’m not sure, I am pretty new here, only been here a little over a week” She said this time flinching slightly as Frank went to elbow her, ducking just out of reach not wanting to risk the fact that her power didn’t trigger the last time. “Sorry my power so far seems to trigger with touch and I don’t feel like falling flat on my face at the moment” she quickly amended not wanting to offend anyone she used to be a very touchy feely person before her power triggered she wished she could still be maybe one day. “So which hot guy were you talking about? Maybe we should go try and stalk him out so you can show me” She said with a grin trying to lighten the mood

"Aaaaah, a fellow newbie!" crowed Frank, doing a little dance that was probably making the rat wonder what he'd done to anger the rat's version of God. This did mean decidedly less elbowing, so Cassie at least had that to look forward to. Frank didn't even seem to mind about the lack of touching thing, blowing it off with a raspberry and a wave. She'd experienced that sort of thing before. Of course, that didn't always stop Frank from actually entering someone's personal bubble, which was precisely why she so often found herself on the receiving end of other people's powers. Thankfully, that usually ended up being a kinda awesome experience, so Frank was willing to roll with it.
So in Frank-world, lightening the mood meant going from relatively bright and sunny to a day on the beach. She literally let loose a little scream, which made the rat jerk about inside his box again. "You haven't seen him yet? Oh, you are so gonna love it. He's, like, he's got like a twelve bag like whoom," Frank tapped her decidedly non-six pack bearing abs (not that she was fat, thanks to a very active lifestyle and a super metabolism; Frank just wasn't winning any bodybuilding contests any time soon). "And he's blonde and like, stupid hot. Stupid. Though even some of the not so hot instructors around here are kinda hot. Makes you wonder if the mutant gene doesn't produce super hotties or something. It's like those movies, the Watchmen or whatever. Super hot, all of them," Frank made a sweeping gesture with her hand, nodding solemnly. She then giggled again, flinging an arm around Cassie for a one armed hug.
"I like you, Cassie, we're totally friends now," she said, poking the other girl through her shirt (clearly having forgotten the touch thing, which, actually might have happened again, had Cassie not been quick, or who knows, maybe they were mind swapping as Frank spoke...
... if so, you'd have to feel very, very sorry for Cassie. So very sorry).

Cassie couldn’t help but appreciate Frank’s blasé attitude to her personal space issues, it was nice to meet someone who wasn’t offended by the fact. She wasn’t used to dealing with the hurt feelings of someone she had recoiled from because of the fear of her power. With it being so new to her she was still adjusting to those things and dreamed of the day she understood her power enough to be able to control it and not have to worry about personal space any more.
"You haven't seen him yet? Oh, you are so gonna love it. He's, like, he's got like a twelve bag like whoom" Franks words brought her back from her brief little internal thought process and she laughed as the girl tapped her stomach where the twelve bag was whatever that actually was Cassie wasn’t sure she had ever heard of a twelve bag before but she wasn’t going to argue. "And he's blonde and like, stupid hot. Stupid. Though even some of the not so hot instructors around here are kinda hot. Makes you wonder if the mutant gene doesn't produce super hotties or something. It's like those movies, the Watchmen or whatever. Super hot, all of them,"
Cassie let her go off on her little spiral of thought with amusement it was entertaining how she could deviate the conversation so easily, yes she was still talking about hotties but she had brought it to a more vague view of the mutant race as a whole instead of just the one hottie whoever he was that she had started with. She did however flinch when Frank flung her arm around her shoulder for a one armed hug. Practically squeezing her eyes shut and waiting for the inevitable she waited but it never came. Instead she was still standing upright in a one armed hug with Frank as she proclaimed them as friends now.
“Sounds good, I could always use more friends...” she spoke her voice was a little off a little unsure as she tried to figure out how her power still hadn’t triggered despite the fact that Frank kept forgetting the no touch thing, she had experienced it a few times since discovering her power it didn’t always trigger on the first touch but by the second time she was always on her ass or face whichever happened first.
“Frank as my new friend I hope you realize it is now your responsibility to help me figure out why you don’t trigger my power! Together we are going to figure this thing out!” she suddenly blurted out with determination grabbing Frank around the shoulders and laughing giddily to herself when she still remained in her own head, this was the happiest she felt since coming here though she was still turning over possibly theories in her head as to what the reasoning behind her power not being triggered.

It was actually a little dangerous to let Frank go off on her little tangents; that is, unless you happened to have a GPS, roadmap, and/or compass. This time, Frank was mostly distracted with the whole physical contact thing, and the fact that she'd gotten a new friend. "It'll be great! I'm super awesome, and you're pretty cool, what with helping me with the rat thing and being super cool about it and all, so I'm sure that we'll WHEEE, WHY ARE WE BLURTING!?" the last happened as Frank's conversation ran nearly into Cassie's own. There was shoulder grabbing and giddy laughter (Frank's favorite kind) and lots of happiness. Frank sort of wiggled for joy herself.
Then she seemed to process what Cassie said. She paused for a moment, tilting her head. "Wait, your power doesn't work on me--oooooh, oh, is it one of those mind ready power things? 'cuz I drive most mind reader people nuts, because, like, they're usually all 'I wonder what that person's thinking' and that person might be thinking about all kinds of stuff but not me, nope! I think something and it usually just pops right on out," Frank gestured, moving her hand from her mouth to spread out, as if throwing the words into some far flung direction. she then stood and beamed at Cassie.
"Soooooooooo, is that it? Or do you have another power? Wait, is it one of those strange, like, energy draining powers? 'cuz I don't feel all sleepy an' junk and that's what usually happens when--" and Frank just continued babbling. It would likely take Cassie interrupting her to talk.
She really, really wasn't kidding about the whole just saying whatever was on her mind thing.

Cassie left Frank to go off on her latest word vomit tangent as she processed what Frank had said about most mind readers getting frustrated that they didn’t find anything unsaid in her head due to the fact that she said everything that popped in there. That was intriguing could this have something to do with the fact that Cassie could touch her without winding up unplanned in her mind? This would take further thought and experimentation but maybe the impulsive girl was onto something.
“Frank” she said with a laugh realizing if she was going to answer any of the girls questions she had to interrupt her nonstop dialog first. “You were right the first time mine is a mind power, I am a mind walker or so the school says though so far that has just resulted in me landing flat on my ass or face with a migraine so you can see how exciting it is that for whatever reason you don’t trigger that!” she was practically giddy as she answered the girl going slightly further with her explanation then she had intended maybe it was Franks hyperactive energy wearing off on her. Either that or she was just truly happy and excited for the first time since coming here that maybe she wasn’t destined to live a life on solitude after all.
“So what about you Frank? You know what my mutation is what’s your super power? Other than your amazing ability to talk non stop... or is that it?” she said in jest nothing she said was meant to offend and she honestly believed that the thought of it offending wouldn’t even cross Franks mind which is why she had no hesitations in thinking of how she phrased it.

Oh, there was some talking and word stuff coming from Cassie, at least enough for Frank to stop for a few moments. She held the silence, an intense expression of "I am totally listening to every word you said" on her face, nodding as Cassie talked. In all honesty, Frank had forgotten that she'd said something about mind powers. She was just used to people having that reaction with her, so she'd figured that was what it was about. Plus, Cassie hadn't done anything like flinging her arms or blinking her eyes or anything special, so that usually meant mental powers, though, actually, sometimes the mental power people did stuff too. Or something.
"Pfft, talking nonstop isn't a power, at least, i don't think it is. That would probably be the lamest power ever, well, second lamest after the ability to talk to fish because we all know that Aquaman sucks and junk. But yeah, that's totally not my power; that's just something I've been doing since, like, I figured out how to talk. My butler used to be all like 'sometimes I wish we hadn't taught you to talk,' of course, he said it more butler-y, but you get the drift, but no, my power is, like, eating stuff," said Frank, finally ending by bobbing her head a few times. She ended by bobbing her head up and down a few times, letting out a few irregular "yeps" in varying tones, because obviously this needed further confirmation.
"I could totes eat something if you want," she said, shrugging. She heard the poor rat move and looked down at it, "Except the rat. eating live things is kinda gross," Frank wrinkled her nose. she'd done it before, obviously, but it just did not work out well, at all.

Cassie couldn’t help giggle as Frank launched into her rant or whatever it was about how talking nonstop wasn’t a power and if it was something about Aquaman... Cassie could be accused of being too busy giggling to herself to have really paid attention to the whole thing but she also doubted Frank would hold it against her as Frank herself seemed quite apt at zoning out of conversations herself.
“Oh god I would never suggest eating the rat, not after all the cheese I sacrificed in aiding in his capture, how about we head to the cafeteria or something instead?” She offered she wondered if being able to eat anything also made you hungry all the time... or just gave you a major stomach ache? She assumed she would find out the answer to that the more she got to know the boisterous and fun Frank.
She wondered how far her power went, the way she spoke about eating live things being gross led Cassie to believe that she had tried in the past. Leading her to ponder just what the girl could eat which although it could be quite gross she was interested in finding out she wasn’t squeamish like most girls though some of the things that popped into her thoughts as to if Frank would be able to eat them she would never have the stomach to try herself.
OOC - sorry I have been MIA Fate! I promise to do better!

"Cafeteria? Okay!" said Frank. She did a little spin, which caused the rat to skitter in the box. This made Frank giggle and lift the box up, peeling up the corner of the lid to take a look at the critter inside. "Sorry about that, Tennant! Don't worry though," Frank lowered the lid, "I'll make sure to drop you back off at my dorm. Oh!" she snapped her fingers and nodded, looking to Cassie, "I'll have to do that! Drop him off at the dorm, I mean, 'cuz I wouldn't want to take him to the cafeteria 'cuz then people be all like 'aaah, there's a rat!' and stuff, which would just suh-uck."
And lo there was nodding. And then Frank walked around to get behind Cassie, physically pushing her toward the door. "c'mon, c'mon, c'mon! I'll show you my dorm real quick while I drop of Tennant and then we can eat foods and junk! We technically don't have to go to the cafeteria unless you really want to, since I totes got a buncha food at the dorm and stuff. But we gotta get moooooving!" and she would began walking them toward the door, likely pushing Cassie for at least a few steps, until the girl started moving on her own.
And of course Frank would be ready to chatter all the way there if it came to it. She clearly possessed the knack, even if it wasn't quite her power.
