There was an awkwardness between his two companions, and Abe was afraid it wouldn't be passing for some time. It was well enough earn't anyway what with both of their powers being so variable. Sharing a room was undoubtedly going to have its own risks and problems. Of course his own mutation wasn't going to help at all.
"A sister?" he asked Beau, able to catch at least part of his cut-off sentence. "I have three, actually. I guess you've met one of them?" He didn't understand why Beau had cut off his sentence so quickly, but it didn't really matter. He was distracted by Sebastian's exclamation, and shrugged his shoulder's somewhat enviously. "This academy is all I've known, and chances are, I'll be helping to run this place my entire life. Truth is, I'm pretty jealous of you guys," Abe admitted with half a laugh. Unlike them, he'd never been able to see the world.
Placing a hand on his stomach in mild embarrassment, Abel smiled. "I'm down for walking. Food sounds like a really good idea right about now."
It was another jealous feature that he was unable to relate to Beau's story. The only ever time he had let his power get out of control was while he was saving a girl. He'd had no experience with anything like that, and while others may have been jealous of the easier life he had had, it bored Abel to no end.
"Oy, you ok Bassy?" Abe asked in concern as he watched Sebastian pop a pill. "What are those for, anyway?"

Lived in one place his entire life? Beau nearly chuckled. Technically, he'd been in the middle of no where Louisiana for most of his life; he just spent most of the time in between traveling all over the place. Beau just shoved it to the thought to the back of his mind, same with the bit about the GPS. He was sure that the academy had something in mind for making sure that Beau didn't get stranded somewhere. The idea of carrying around a tracker like some kinda dog didn't exactly sit well with Beau; sounded like something the crazy guy down the road liked to mumble about.
as for sisters, "Uh, yep," offered Beau, which was definitely the truth, "an' I don't reckon this place would be all that bad to call home,' he shrugged. It could have been worse, in Beau's opinion. They could have been someplace like Vermont. At least here in Montana Beau had something of an audience for his country music.
Though when the subject moved to food, Beau yawned again, "I don't think I'm gonna join you guys," he said. "I'm all---" but then Abel was looking at the pills, and Beau realized it. He cut himself off, blinked, and looked over at the pills. It struck Beau as a little rude to just up and ask someone what kind of meds they were on... "He don't gotta tell us if he don't wanna. Ain't our business to pry into his health," he offered, shrugging and looking to Abel for a moment, trying to get an agreement before realizing something and looking back to Sebastian, "'less those are those anti-psycho pills, in case it'd probly be good to let us know."

Sebastian paused when Abe asked him about his pills, and smirked at Beau's comments in return. "No they aren't ant-psycho pills" He had to decide how much truth he was going to tell them, he could lie but hr decided on a vague truth over a lie. "They help me with a side effect of my power." he said simply smiling as he opened the door. "You crashing instead Beau? Hope you have a good night sleep, it was good to meet you, I didn't mean to wake you up sorry!" He called out before he left out the door. "So does the cafeteria stay open 24/7?" he asked Abe as Sebastian and him walked out the door."
Abel shrugged, unable to deny the fact. The academy had been a good home. Sometimes he just wished for a little more....well, more. He hadn't decided yet whether that was right or wrong, and what exactly he'd do about it. "It has its moments, but even a giant place like this gets small when you know each and every corner." The Callanish Stones in Scotland, Venice, Mt.Fuji in Japan, The Coliseum in Rome and even The Globe. There were so many places he wanted to visit.
Scratching his head uncomfortably, Abe shook his head. Beau had a point, but he was a first believer in sticking with his words. If he said it, it was out, and he couldn't back off it. Besides, he was curious by nature, and if the pills were specifically for Bassy then they were clearly important. If Sebastian hadn't wanted them to know about them, he wouldn't have asked for their help.
"Don't fall asleep on the floor, it's bad for your back." Abe warned, staring at the apparently exhausted Beau. Nodding once, Abel turned away. Tapping his fingers rhythmically against his pants he followed Bassy.
"The cook retires at nine," he laughed. "But I've got a key to the kitchen, and he always leaves around something worth eating."

Beau nodded at Sebastian's assertion. That was enough for him; Beau didn't see a point in digging into someone else's life if they didn't have to. He did look over at Abel, and he couldn't be certain that the other guy agreed with Beau's philosophy. Well, let him do his thing too. Beau wasn't going to intervene or interfere unless it looked like this was gonna spill over to him somehow.
Sebastian headed out the door, and Beau raised a hand to bid him goodbye. Guy seemed almost nervous, ready to just outright sprint out of there. Beau wondered if the pills had something to do with it. Suspicious behavior plus pills generally weren't a good mix. Eh, Beau put it out of his mind. Abel had already turned to go, offering up some advice to the Southern boy. Beau nodded, indicating that he heard, if nothing else. He raised a hand up, which turned into something covering his yawn.
As soon as the other two left, Beau trundled over to his own bed. There was some clothes removal, mostly tossed off to the side. And then Beau collapsed onto the bed, his eyes closing almost immediately. Yeah, this definitely felt good. He yawned and was out in minutes.
{which takes Beau out, so if you guys wanna just continue without him, that's fine by me!}

As they worked down the halls towards the lunchroom, Sebastian couldn't help but ask about Abe's powers. "So what is it like to have a somewhat normal life? I have to say I'm somewhat envious of your more 'normal' behaving power if normal was the right word."
He knew that Abe would probably feel the same way about his powers, but then again he didn't have to live with them constantly trying to port him to a billion different places at every second of every day. Some days he could hold strong to his current location but he remembered other darker days, lost in a constant teleport lock, unable to stay in one location for more then a tenth of a second. He was unable to move, drink or eat, sleep or even scream. He almost died a few times before finally able to barely cling to one spot long enough to recover. There was even a few times he thought he would go insane because of his powers.
Pushing the negative thoughts away he refocused on Abe with a smile on his face he asked "If you could pick any power which would you pick?"
