"Correct, but I aim to change all of that and bring about an age in where we know a lot more about our kind. Helping future generations come to understand what we are better and just make it all the easier for us to live among the majority of non-mutants out there." Seiji said with a large smile taking over his face. Yes, he so badly wanted to help out the mutant kind in any way that he could so things like SPECTRE would not happen again. Not only that, he just wanted their kind to survive through time as they had been doing without the worry of all of them being gathered up, hunted down, and disposed of.

"Oh that is fine. The area in where you help is enough and all of it adds together to still accomplished the goal in the end." Seiji said as he tried to assure Jason that what he did was enough. Seiji did let out a sort of defeated sigh as Jason pointed out what he already knew was the largest problem of what he wanted to do. The sigh was mainly because of that problem then it was to Jason pointing it out. "I'm just going to have to work really hard to make it clear how beneficial it would be. I could always wait until the current college generation starts having babies to ask them if it would be okay. Granted I'm hoping it will be some years after they graduate before they start having babies." Seiji said with a small chuckle.

He wanted people to worry about their schooling and getting a job first before making any babies. Still, he knew what was going on around the school since while they were mutants they were all still very much like their counter parts in terms of desires and what they did. He just hoped people used protection and didn't let their powers go out of control. Jason was a good sport about it all and it didn't take long at all to get everything done. He would wait until Jason was gone of course before he would do any testing. Seiji did frown a little when Jason said he was not really expecting Seiji to find a way to slow it down. That hurt a little, to hear that from someone he looked up to but he didn't say anything on it.

Seiji didn't say anything at all for a moment as he put away the blood to examine later. "Sounds like a plan. Take your time getting the information to me; I know you have jobs that are of a higher importance." Seiji said with a few small nods. "I think that is everything then." Seiji said as he moved to take a seat back at his desk. Leevi had already moved towards his master and nuzzled under his chin to try and cheer him up. Seiji didn't look said, he just looked like he was thinking, which he was.

“That is a lot of goals you’ve set for yourselves,” he pointed out as he listened to Seiji. Sure, most of it was entwined but it still remained a lot of work. There was more than a moral aspect that could stop him. The science might not reach a level in which he’ll be able to answer all the questions he had in his head regarding mutations. Not to add that living amongst the non-mutants had as much to do with a better control of powers and their side-effect than the mentality both parties had towards it. Oh well. If you want to dream, better dream big. At least he was not likely to run out of things to do.

He had a smile, feeling as though the young man was trying to reassure him that he was still important. He knew that he was. Maybe his work wouldn’t be as important for the whole population but helping the individuals was also important. He also had a smile. “I believe that’s more something they expect someone my age to say, not one who is about their age,” he pointed out but he agreed with Seiji. Some people didn’t care. Accidents happened and they claimed that at least they were not high school students. But Jason didn’t know if it was that much better. The problem that they were still barely starting in life, not likely to have a place of their own and a good job remained. Not that he would say it out loud. No need for him to be considered even more of an outdated dinosaur with outdated dinosaur ideas.

He noticed the frown on Seiji’s traits. He feared his words might not have come out right. “Not that I doubt your abilities. But I am aware my power can damage my heart. I’m not really sure there is any way to prevent that. I am using my own life force after all,” he said, trying to correct the insult he might have thrown at Seiji’s face with his words. He nodded, also thinking it was all. “We shall keep in touch,” he said as goodbye, leaving Seiji to his thoughts, and his snake.

"Keeps me driven and remaining at this school. If I don't set myself some goals then I'm likely to go wondering off again like I did when I first graduated from high school here." Seiji admitted. He was the kind of guy who had to go off and do something; he could not just stay in one place. BA was his home but when he graduated he didn't really know what to do or have any goals for himself. So he left to figure out what he wanted. Then every day after that when he came back he had to give himself a goal in order to remain at the school. Yes, he was happy here but he was not completely happy.

There were things missing that he still wanted out of life but he didn't fully know what they were, so he traveled. So, to keep himself here he had to at least keep himself busy with work because outside of work he still didn't feel like he had anything. Not that he was unhappy about that, he was just not completely happy. His happiness was mainly built off making those around him happy but that would only keep him 'happy' for so long. "Oh, I see. That makes a little more sense." Seiji said as he nodded a few times. He ruffled his hair, thinking before getting distracted more so by Jason's words that had him frowning.

Seiji understood that it was something that was going to be hard but nothing was in the realm of impossible in his mind. Well, not everything was in the realm of impossible, especially if it meant helping someone with their side effect. If he could not help Jason out then he felt like he had no right to take on the even harder cases. Jason must have caught on that Seiji had been upset by his words and then was pointing out that he did not doubt his abilities. All of it still came out to Seiji that Jason didn't have confidence in what Seiji was capable of doing but he was not going to fight or argue over the matter.

He just gave Jason a smile and nodded as the man said his farewells and said they would be in touch. When the older man was gone Seiji let out a deep sigh as he sunk into his chair, stroking Leevi as he looked towards the direction of the lab. "We will prove him wrong. Just wait, Leevi. We are going to come up with something to at least put less of a strain on his heart." Seiji said with a new drive to work even harder.
