Seiji felt like he was being super weird or just failing at asking for Humphries to be okay with him running test on him. Who really was outright okay with such a thing? Seiji would be because he knew of the importance of having actual people to test on or in this case an actual mutant cat to study off of. There were always those people that were super against testing things on animals and humans, but if you could never actually test your products or theories on something that was alive and what it was intended for, then what was the point. He was always going to be on the side of being up for animal and human testing within reason because even he didn’t want to test something on someone that would risk putting them in a lot of pain if he could help it.
Still, he wanted to be sure that Humphries was fully okay with it and the cat seemed to be. He was still going to make up a document and figure a way for Humphries to sign it. That way if something bad happened then his bases were covered. More text came in and Seiji was nodding in response since he understood. He just had to make an appointment then and Humphries would come see him at the lab to give samples. Perfect. I was almost tempted to say it like purrfect. Seiji thought to himself as he cracked a small smile but didn’t dare say it. “I will set that up then and figure out the best way to contact you.” Seiji said as he gathered up Ghost fully off the ground. The snake was heavy but not something that he was not used to.
Once Ghost was all gathered up and Seiji knew what he needed to do in order to get back in contact with Humphries later on. “I’ll see you later on then, Humphries. It really was nice to meet you and I look forward to studying you. In a good way, to help other mutants…that is.” Seiji said, stumbling a bit there. After stroking Ghost once more he gave a bow of his head and turned to leave. He had to get back to Ghost birthday but just no more of this walking the snake around.
