So him and Liz where actually going to be serious about all of this, it seemed a bit odd to her now knowing her brother as well was pretty much all grown up and that really just left her by herself with the parents and such, But even now she was no longer home with them. Wow things really did change fast. She dazed off and followed him for a bit almost blocking out what he was saying, her head wrapped up in a haze of the past, and all the things that seemed to be going on so quickly.
Until now she really had not thought much about her parents at home with no more kids to care for, and how much that had to change the lives of them as well, all this was actually impacting more then just her and she was not just taking notice? Amazing how those things worked. But Beau was right it would be smart of himself to introduce her to the family and every one, especially since they where serious and all formal. Also made her wonder if they would get married and how all that would go over as well, it would be cool having a sister, but then again would sort of take Beau away as well.. So many mixed feelings and thoughts now raced through her head.
Turning her self back to Beau and coming back to the real world her eyes landed on the food area, wow pretty good choices and seemed like alot was going on down their, But the smell really got her stomach to growl, making her laugh slightly and put a hand over her stomach. Turning her eyes to Beau she shrugged and smirked a little.
"Hmm.. Well guess ya better surprise me then cause I got no clue.."

"Tex-mex it is,' drawled Beau. He nudged his sister toward the local chain, nodding and heading that way. As they walked, Beau dug his wallet out of his back pocket, thumbing through a rather high number of ones. He paused for a moment, looking over at his sister. "Playin', not strippin," he said, knowing that even her relatively innocent mind would go straight there.
Wouldn't take the LaRouxs long to get up to the place. There was a short line, Beau easily heading to the back and expecting MaryAnne to fall right in line. "So," he said. He wanted to start asking about the powers, but he couldn't really do that while they stood so close to people who might very well not know the true purpose of the school. "You met anyone else yet?" he opted for instead. "Anybody I need to rough up for ya?"
Because there was just no way that Beau was going to let anyone mess with his little sister in the slightest. Though, as had already been established, MaryAnne could probably handle the vast majority of them herself.

"Seems like you got alot on your mind.. And as for any issues with other people here.. Only once and it was settled pretty quickly they didnt like my accent and i didnt like them so I corrected them nice an quick like."
Ordering some food she smiled and took her food back to a table that was a good distance away from the rest of the people off in its own little corner where no listening ears would ease drop on things that did not concern them.
"So how has the last few years over all been for you? I know was some bad times and such.. and you been busy. Not come home as much either so guessing the whole college life and all that has had ya pretty wrapped up tight.. Plus the new girl friend and such.."
She looked at him curious and wanting to have a decent conversation. It had been a while and it would be nice to chat with him for a bit. Plus surely he would ask the ever so famous question every one seemed to ask.. What is your power. She was waiting on it because she figured it just would be funny. She knew what his was, thanks to having a decently nosy personality and bugging him alot.

"Always plenty 'round here to keep a mind busy," replied Beau easily enough. He took a few steps forward as the next order was placed, making sure to quickly scan the menu, though he already had a good idea of what he'd be ordering when the time came. Beau was a creature of habit, after all.
"You keep actin' like I don't write home every month an' call every so often," drawled Beau, smiling. "Jus' gettin' into the whole college thing, like we agreed an' all," referring to the fact that both parents had been quite insistent on any and all children bearing the name "LaRoux" get a college education before they ventured off to attempt to get a music career of some kind. "Been busy mostly, an' like I said, it's Liz, so it ain't like she's all that new or anythin'. Actin' like I'm bringin' up some random girl you ain't already heard tell of,"
Beau gave MaryAnne another look, raising his brows for a bit. "An' dont' think I ain't noticing you glossin' over the questions there. Jus' one guy? Or was it a gal? An' did you do any roughin' up? Ain't no boys yet, are there?" Because they'd soon get to experience what it was like when the overprotective older brother was around.
