"Both," replied Guy, referencing the paperwork. He'd have to make sure that Devyn got the paper acknowledging what she'd done and so forth. They'd been lucky in that she hadn't actually hurt anyone, so lucky. Then she'd have been put under constant surveillance and potentially even given a more secure place to sleep or what have you.
"What you need to do is head toward the training rooms or contact staff," replied Guy, deadly serious. "We're a school, Solway, which means we're designed to help students. Believe it or not, we've a lot more training dealing with rowdy and out of control students then you do, and we're quite skilled at making sure that they don't hurt themselves. Plus, if you put yourself under our care and then something happens, it's on us, not on you."
In other words: stop trying to do this yourself. Guy hesitated a moment, wondering if he needed to say those exact words. Devyn had already begun protesting his other suggestion, which had him sighing. "Let me rephrase: you will take sessions with a counselor which you will attend, or else you're going to be placed under constant surveillance and likely restrained, Solway. Let people help you," there, he said that bit, "that's what they're there for."

Devyn let out a sigh when Guy said that they both had to do paperwork, Devyn not wanting to do paperwork at all but of course she would do it. Not like she had a choice on the matter and after what she did, she knew that she had best complies with pretty much everything she was told and asked to do. Even if she really, really did not want to do most of what she would have to do. She listened as Guy told her what she needed to do from now on when she was feeling or losing control over her power. She had to go to the training rooms or contact the staff. They were a school and it was designed to help the mutants with their powers. Devyn knew all of this; she had been here for years now and knew the school was here to help her. Just the kind of person that she was made her not want to get the help fully.
With her power, yes she liked to have a level of control over it and she did hate it when she lost control but...recently she just wanted to be alone. More alone then she ever wanted to be in a long time but at the same time she wanted someone around her, more than ever. Like twenty-four seven she wanted someone around her to just be close, to feel their body height, to smell their scent, and to just have them physically there. "I understand Sir...it's just. Well you know me...I hate feeling...weak and...helpless..." Devyn mumbled as she looked down and scratched at her head a little. She really did understand what Guy was getting at and if she did lose control while she was under the care of the staff then it was their fault if something happened. Compared to what had happened now was all Devyn’s fault and she could not blame anyone but herself over it.
Guy let out a sigh when Devyn put up her protest about not wanting to be assigned to talk to someone. Guy rephrasing and things now coming out like an order now that had Devyn growling a little low but she still looked down at the ground so she was not planning on doing anything. She was still submitting, even if she didn't like the idea of having to talk to someone. "...got it. Anyone I should go to or should I like talk to the dorm person or what?" Devyn asked, planning a little dumb on the subject in an attempt to make this too much chatting or work for guy to feel like dealing with that he would just let her not have to talk to someone. Devyn even doubted that anyone on the school would be available for her to talk to. They were busy, helping others that actually needed it and were not like Devyn. Not a lost cause.

It took all Guy had not to start sighing as he saw Devyn deflating. He understood, he really did, especially as she continued. "You're going to have to get used to being in situations like that from time to time," he reminded her. He couldn't shake the feeling that he'd said such things before. "There are ways of building your confidence that don't deal with rampaging through the school... which you'll have to learn."
Guy meant it too. There were people here who could and would teach her those very things. He rubbed at his face, listening as she continued. He didn't see any reason to continue berating or lecturing her here. "You'll need to talk to the dorm monitors to arrange things there. Officially you'll have to talk to security when you leave here. Report in to them. They'll likely arrange the escorts and such, though that will be a rotation of staff volunteers."
Guy hesitated for a moment, then added: "More or less how things were with Miss Wallerstein-Smythe." Guy nodded again, then sighed. "Is there anything else? I'd wager you'll want to move along..." especially now that he'd brought up the very person that had supposedly caused all this anguish.

Devyn nodded a little at Guy's words, having heard them all before but it never really made things easier to deal with. She just felt so alone, that none one was getting it, and that they didn't really care. They just wanted her to keep her power under control so she would not hurt anyone, because everyone else was more important. No, Devyn knew they had a right to want to make sure she was not being a monster and going around harming people at the school. If she could kill members of SPECTRE then one could easily think she could end up accidently killing another student or staff when she lost control like this. It still didn't feel good and it just caused her gaze to remain on the ground. "Understood sir..." Devyn responded back simply to Guy's words about ways of fixing her confidence. It was not really a confident thing, it was more of an unstable thing...or whatever someone would label it.
Devyn really didn't know and was just in her accepting and respect adult’s mode. That was why she was saying sir over LeGuy and just nodding. Devyn still did understand what Guy was saying and she was not just saying yes to please him, well half of her was but the other half did mean it. Devyn noted that she would have to end up talking to the dorm monitor about something. She half checked out there for a moment when she heard that she would have to report to security when she would leave campus. Like that is going to happen. Devyn thought to herself as she did a mental eye roll. She might end up reporting to them once, but she highly doubted she would say anything when she left campus because she really didn't do well being watched and followed. Devyn almost said as much but Guy had said Zoe's name which just kept Devyn in silence.
Damn, just hearing that name made her wants to just lose control or just sit in the darkness somewhere. She just wanted someone, someone who would get it and just make it all better, but no one would really understand. Her mother was right about Devyn's life in that regard. "No, I'll head back to my room then. Thanks again for stopping me." Devyn responded back to the question, her tone coming off almost robotic without any feeling in it as she moved to head back to her room. Her green eyes in a fixed position as her gaze remained mostly on the ground. She probably would end up just staying in her room for the rest of the day and try coming to clean up the library tomorrow as well as talk to the dorm monitor at a certain point. For now she just wanted and sandwich and to just sleep everything away.

Guy nodded. He really did understand, at least to some degree. Being young may be more of a distant memory for him than the reality it was for so many of these people, but that didn't make it a dim memory by any stretch of the imagination. He just knew that he also had to keep doing his job and, in this case, that meant reprimands and setting someone on the right path.
"I'll see you later, Solway," he said, raising a hand to the young woman. Sighing, he turned and looked over the library. It really did look, well, as if a hurting young mutant had torn through it.
Guy sighed, rubbing at his face. Sometimes he felt too old for this, and he knew he wasn't that old. Still, he shook his head. He had to fill out reports, make sure the right people know: dorm monitors, security... maintenance people. He really should've sent Devyn to a high security lockdown room but, well, it just didn't seem right to keep punishing her.
So, instead, Guy would have to fend off people suggesting exactly that. He sighed and walked along, reminding himself that it was just another day on the job.
