Roxana was even speaking like a knight now. Elsa rolled her eyes, finding the whole thing to be nearly exhausting and practically put on. Still, it seemed like their business had concluded, though Elsa could already wager that the two of them would be getting together for something else soon enough.
Elsa went back to her work almost immediately, knowing that Roxana could see her own way out: she'd seen her way in, after all. Elsa certainly had plenty to do, papers to sort and all that. She'd nearly been caught by surprise, then, when Roxana bent down to kiss her. Elsa raised her head, almost immediately quirking a brow as she looked up at the other girl.
The words didn't cause Elsa's expression to change, it was the thoughts that followed. "I'm flattered," the Bellefonte drawled, her voice as dry as it ever was. "Now run along: You've got enough to do as it is," she said. She nodded and looked back to her work, though she did wonder if there was some significant to the fact that Roxana was making decisions outside her job. Elsa could only consider that progress.
