"That is what my trainer said." Cyril responded back to Beau's words about it was how he got his brain to work it. It had just fit with him being able to snap and know roughly how many times he had to snap in order to get something to end up in the air with little effort on his part. Sure he still had to deal with side effects of his power and of course the middle of his sleep power surges or loss of control over his power, but it was better then what some others had to deal with. He was still working on it either way and he still was young, not even near his forties yet and with age just meant better control over your power to a certain point. Beau seemed fine up on the horse and even had it moving for him. Cyril kept a close eye on the boy still and was happy to talk to him while Beau would ride. In fact talking was a part of the test. To see if someone could hold a conversation and still pay attention to what they were doing while they were ridding.
"I bet. Must be cool to just pick up on other people’s powers. You are like a cameleon...or would an octopus be a better comparison?" Cyril asked, but it was more of a question to himself as he wondered which animal was a better representation of being able to copy off of others. Could have just called him a copycat, but that would more so words then an actual comparison. Cyril had caught that Beau was about to ask him something but apparently gotten the answer by Cyril leading the way for them. The ridding ring was very well taken care of and while the near the fence area was pretty much beaten down from horse walking on it, the middle was nice and lush with grass. Cyril chuckled a little at Beaus words at being surprised that there was grass in the ridding ring. "I try to at least maintain some grass in the center so if someone does fall there is something soft to land on, plus the horses like to get a grass break when sometimes we end up standing around chatting." Cyril pointed out as he moved to stand in the center of the ring.
"Oh yes the gardener does a very good job. I feel a little bit bad when I cut the grass. Hope I'm not like hurting him or his friends or something." Cyril said, not really knowing how deep the connection between a mutant with control over plants connection went. Still the grass did have to be maintained so he was going to cut it when it needed to be cut.
