Again, could they get back to the whole Felix leaving part? Elsa liked that plan, not least of all because it meant that she wouldn't have to deal with this whole emotional mess and keep attempting to play her sister to someone who clearly should've gotten better treatment than this. You'd think that Erika would have at least set aside something for Felix, one of her closest friends. She'd apparently contacted Ellen to some degree. instead, Elsa had to sit there and endure Felix pouring his heart out to her, all while thinking he spoke to her twin instead.
Worse still: it was a fairly decent speech. How was it that Erika managed to pull all these people to support her? Elsa certainly didn't, and she worked her ass off building alliances and doing what was necessary. Your own person, do whatever, stay where---wait, what? The Bellefontes belonged here, and just hearing a suggestion that they might not nearly made Elsa... but he wasn't speaking to her, he was speaking to Erika, who'd often felt lost, felt pressured. Elsa bit her lip, nearly feelings tears of frustration bubble.
Where was her Felix?
no, no, no, she didn't need this. She was stronger than Erika; she did things her own way, used people, used situations and turned them to her advantage. Felix looked into Elsa's eyes and she looked into his, glad at least that her own were slightly watery. He said her name, her real name, and Elsa couldn't help but laugh. "Seriously, you think I'm my sister now? Wow, we do need to spend more time together," she said, reaching a hand up to dig at her eyes. she rose, taking a few steps away from Felix. "I'm just a mess right now, okay? That doesn't make me someone else," and wasn't that the truest thing she'd said during this whole meeting? Well, minus the mess part, though she supposed this situation was quite... messy.
