Zoe nodded; she'd seen several people recover from her ability more or less. Devyn recovered so often that Zoe was almost surprised that her girlfriend hadn't built up some kind of resistance to the stuff. Perhaps it didn't quite work that way? Maybe people needed some chemical help to actually get over it? Zoe wondered as she watched Dr. Campbell drawing his blood. At least, Zoe started to watch it, only to quickly avert her gaze when she realized that the doctor was, in fact, drawing his own blood into the syringe. She had to fight back a shudder, not quite believing that someone would willingly do that.
Dr. Campell's words drew Zoe back to looking at him, if cautiously, one eye peeking to look up at his face. Already moving, and she couldn't help but sigh in relief at that. he looked a little stiff, but clearly he'd be just fine in a matter of moments. Plus, his reasoning, yet again, sounded quite sound. Zoe nodded, accepting it all and relaxing. She even scooted to the edge of the table, testing her balance, noting that while she still felt a little light headed, she could probably still move about without too much trouble.
Tests, keep her informed, and Zoe was nodding again, scooting further still, her feet touching the floor gently. Any other questions? Again, another health question rose to Zoe's mind, but she shook her head, fidgeting nervously and looking at a spot on the ground several feet to the side of Dr. Campbell. "Um, no, not really," she mumbled, shuffling about. "Am I okay to go then?" She seemed to recall him mentioning that earlier, but she figured it would be safest to doublecheck, what with there being the whole his being paralyzed and, well, Zoe just liked to doublecheck things.
