A light chill went down Franck's spine as he walked outside. That did not change his mind though. He could not exactly jog but he tried it a bit as he headed away from the school towards the woods. His plan was to go by the water, perhaps all the way to the boathouse. What he mostly wanted was some peace and quiet. As much as he liked being around people, there came a moment when their emotions just became too much for him. There were too many people around, he needed a break from all these emotions. He couldn't pick anything in particular but it could get so thick that Franck needed to breathe some air away from people every now and then to clean his head.
It was why he was walking outside right now, He was not paying to much attention to his surroundings though and it might explain why he strayed off the path a little. When he finally noticed, he turned around, trying to find where the lake was. He finally caught a sight of it when he stopped. Something, a tingling of some sort just got to him, tickled his neck. He knew what that was. It was emotions coming from someone nearby making their way to him, making themselves known to him. He turned around again, looked for someone. He knew there was someone, for he felt them but he could not tell where they were exactly. It couldn't be an animal though, as he was incapable of sensing anything coming from one. It had to be a person.
"Hello?" he asked out loud. He was not really afraid. The emotions he picked up had nothing hostile about them. It likely was another student. Or some staffgoing out for a break of students. But the fact he could not see them made him slightly uneasy. It was always so much better when you knew where people were, right? So Franck kept trying to find where that person was. He didn't want to be spooked. He got spooked too easily.
